This is a scam company, never sent the products, never responded to calls or emails, and are now being investigated by my credit card fraud team - DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!

Shocking customer service, as others stated you won't get any reply. Now to the filter itself. Maybe good on paper but reality is different. I suppose people use it with hiking bottles, namely 28mm screw top. The filter has very shallow thread, doesn't stay on on Cnog water bottle, better fit with smart water bottle. The suction power needed to get anything out is massive, even with a new filter. Filtrered some merky looking water into another bottle and it still had bits in it swimming, luckily I had Sawyer with me as well. You cannot backflush it so any dirty water will clog it much before its life span. The company doesn't publicly disclose the actual numbers of viruses filtered out or the claimed tests into any detail. Again, with shocking customer service it is very questionable.

I repeatedly contacted to try and correct the wrong postcode I had put on my address n error. 2 days later and not a word. If that is customer service standard I wont be back to buy anything else Im afraid. Dont even know if my order will reach me now. Thankyou so much

Twice now with 2 brand new filters, I managed to filter about 5 litres then the flow slowed to a trickle. I contacted Pure Clear for support and they did not respond. Absolute waste of money, go buy a Sawyer at least you can back flush that one.

Spent £50 on a bottle and spare filter.

Royal Mail lost the parcel which is unfortunate, but wont speak to me as they will only speak to sender.

Pure Clear have not answered emails, phonecalls, or voicemail for a week now, so have no way of getting my money back or the item i ordered.

Avoid at all costs and only order from trusted re-sellers (which is unfortunate as they all seem to be out of stock, apart from directly from PureClear)

I tried calling them some weeks ago. No one answers the phone but an answer machine states “ leave your contact name and phone number and we will get back to you.
They didn’t get back in the end I purchased their bottle via mountain warehouse. However I have since got a query I wanted an answer to so I phoned them earlier left my no and they didn’t return. I tried ringing 3 times since and every time I spoke into the machine stating I had called 3 times and wanted a query answered I was cut off. I then looked for email address and spotted a bot stating to leave my message, filled it out and sent it then was answered with a different no to call which I tried and it was a completely different company called uk water filters and they had no idea of what I was talking about. I am concerned about my experience and now wonder if this bottle is “safe” to rely on for filtered water. It was costly at £40 so am thinking I have wasted my money. Anyone else had a problem with them?

I have since supplied my email address and phone number but have not heard back from this company. My query related to the filters which are not cheap at £15 each however it looks like I have wasted £40 as THEY WILL NOT CONTACT ME TO ANSWER MY QUERY. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND PERPLEXED AS TO WHY THEY DONT ANSWER THEIR PHONE NOR DO THEY CALL BACK WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR DETAILS.

Quick turnaround by Pure Clear but one week later and Royal Mail still hasn't delivered.Royal Mail tracking system sucks.

Drank some stream and loch water with this and survived, 5 stars, would buy again.

We brought two pure clear water bottles for a trip around South America. On the plus side the filtration system seems very effective as we suffered no problems with any water we consumed. True the suck required to get the water out is greater than with conventional water bottles but that was not a great issue.
Our key problem was durability of the product. One relatively small drop onto a not particularly hard surface was all that was required to start the plastic cracking and the bottle to leak, rendering the whole thing completely useless and it needing to be discarded. A great potential product with very little durability in our experience. Shame really because I think the filter really does work.

Bought it a year ago, used it to do west highland way, now i want to buy one more just because how integral it ended up being to the whole trip. The squeeze bottle is reliable but what i like also is the company behind it. Super cool to be able to buy such a filter at a low price! Wish they sold them at my local store in the netherlands and that i didnt have to pay import fees though.

Arrived in good time well packaged and looked as described. Boxed with instructions. Not used yet bought it in preparation for a summer trip.

Love everything about this company and their first class product. Have been using 2 of their Explorer soft flasks all summer and into winter. Delivers a cleaner taste and none of us have been ill once. Just ordered another 4 filters🏆

I ordered 3 Pure and Clear water bottles. I had problems with them, and wanted to discuss a solution with the company. So far I have emailed twice without getting a reply, and have attempted to call several times - each time it goes to answer phone, where I leave a message and no one gets back to me. Disappointing lack of customer service.

The product seems really nice. I ordered the filter/flask setup and an addition filter, and didn’t receive the second filter. The receipt had a note saying the filter would ship separately because it was on backorder… I paid over $20 for shipping and I live in Ohio, USA. Still haven’t received the filter and no follow up.

Quick delivery and good price. The bottle is an ideal size not to big or small to carry around and the filter does not take up excessive space. Ideal for my travel

This is my second purchase of the pure explore.its a fantastic product.works brilliantly when out walking near to rivers.would highly recommend if looking for a filter that looks great and gets rid of all the rubbish in the water . It's super light which is a bonus ...
