Needing to replace my rather tired and…

Needing to replace my rather tired and leaking bay windows. I was recommended by a friend, Quayside Conservatories.
I must say I was really glad he did as they were able to offer all I required.
To keep the original internal look and feel, I asked if it was possible to copy the moldings as close to the window being replaced as possible.
Of course in order to meet modern standards they could not just copy what had been before.
I do not like plastic windows on sustainability grounds and inflexible construction and I like their use of engineered hardwood. This combined with water based and long lasting sprayed Finnish sealed the deal.
Dealing with their very pleasant and efficient secretary the construction and stage payments plus deposit guarantee policy was a dream.
The scheduled date of installation was achieved without hiccup and the whole .job completed and made good in a most satisfying manner.

We have received outstanding customer…

We have received outstanding customer care and service from Quayside Conservatories from the initial point of contact to the final installation of our windows.

We are delighted with the very high quality of the product, further the installation was carried out with great skill and care.
The property was left in an immaculate state.

We have no hesitation what so ever in recommending this company and we will use them again in the future.

We would happily recommend Quayside…

We would happily recommend Quayside Conservatories. We approached them with only a rough idea that we wanted to replace our front door and side panels, but from the very beginning they provided expert advice and guidance throughout the entire process.
From the design stage through to the manufacture of a high-quality product, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The removal of the old door and the installation of the new one were completed with great care and attention to detail.
Ray, Kevin, Terry and Mandy deserve special thanks for their professionalism, craftsmanship and excellent customer service. They have transformed the entrance to our home with a beautiful solution that has exceeded our expectations.
The best recommendation we can give is that, having seen the quality of their work, we are now planning a major renovation of our staircase and landing with Quayside Conservatories.

It is a year today that Quayside Conservatories removed my old conservatory in Laxfield, that one built by another company, and over the following week smoothly installed their own, a wonderful design, making far better use of the space, about which I was consulted over every significant detail, beautifully made in their workshop and skillfully installed at my home. I wrote a review at the time but I wanted to write again to say that I still go on admiring it every day, continuing to appreciate the quality of the work! Thank you, Quayside Conservatories.

A 5-storey Challenge

We needed to replace windows in our 190-year-old property – a 5-storey brick tower mill. Being a Grade 2 Listed Building we knew there would be planning approval requirements entailing the submission of detailed drawings of the proposed windows, Building Regulation compliance and also access issues requiring extensive scaffolding. We became lost as to how to bring all of this together, mainly how to get the project started.
When searching for a Company that would be able to provide the new windows we happened to notice a really impressive oak porch that had been built on to a property in our village. The property owners directed us to Quayside Conservatories Ltd. After contacting them, Ray came out to see our property and talked through what would be involved. He offered to Project Manage everything for us thereby dealing with all approvals, providing the necessary scaffolding, manufacturing and then installing the windows. With an initial cost estimate, we decided to go forward. Ray arranged for an architect to handle the planning issues and once approval was received, Ray and Terry undertook a detailed measure up to provide a detailed quote. Ray also sought competitive prices for the scaffolding. The detailed quote was within the initial estimate and we were happy to continue.
The scaffolding was erected and the windows installed by Kevin with care and professionalism. Ray kept in contact with us throughout the installation and we are very happy with the quality and finish of the new windows and the way they have been fitted.
We came from not knowing where to start, to handing over the running of the whole project to Quayside Conservatories Ltd. We now have great quality windows delivered by a knowledgeable and Professional Company who have looked after us throughout. Job done well pleased.

A great company to deal with.

Quayside have recently fitted new windows in my cottage and it has completely transformed the look and feel of the property.

This is the third time over the past twenty years that I have bought from Quayside: I had new windows fitted in my previous property in 2006 that were as good as new when I sold it in 2020 and an oak-framed porch built onto my current property two years ago. The quality of the products over the past almost twenty years has remained consistently high.
They are always such a great company to deal with. Lovely people, excellent workmanship and an exceptional service.
And I must say a special word of thanks to Kevin who installed the windows who left the property cleaner and tidier than it was before he started!

We were introduced to Quayside by a…

We were introduced to Quayside by a friend who had also used them and was very happy with the work. We were replacing all of the windows and two exterior doors in our house including two large bays. As soon as we met Ray we knew we could could trust him to deliver and the whole project has been a great success - from careful planning and design advice from Ray and Terry to the great product and then the carefully considered and high quality installation over two weeks. We could not recommend the team highly enough - one of our other contractors described the windows as “as good as you will ever see”

Another Superior Installation from Quayside.

Thanks to the Quayside team for another fantastic installation at my home. With an impeccable attention to detail from the first point of contact to installation completion. Quayside have previously installed hardwood windows, doors and barge boards at my home so I had no hesitation whatsoever in asking them to quote, manufacture and install a very neat under stairs storage solution. With the highest of quality materials and components used, the unit has made a previously wasted space accessible and functional. I have no hesitation in recommending Quayside and thank them for their creative design, high quality manufacturing and professionalism throughout.

Great products and fantastic service

Another great job completed by Quayside - 4 days from order to delivery! Fantastic service from start to finish. Latest order was for a full set of components to complete the installation of Quayside dormer windows.

Not only conservatories.

Quayside Conservatories don't only do conservatories. They have constructed and fitted unique secondary glazing in the windows at the front of our home which to be a shop. Ray and his team kept in touch to let us know how the project was going and fitted the glazing very quickly and efficiently. The rooms were tidied and cleaned up afterwards. Couldn't fault their expertise and friendliness.

First came across quayside when I…

First came across quayside when I needed a new front door. I’ve since used them for back doors, new window, and a built in wardrobe in a very awkward loft space. I unfortunately have more doors and windows to replace in the coming years and I won’t go anywhere else.

Outstanding service.I have recently enjoyed the services of…

I have recently enjoyed the services of Quayside Conservatories on 2 occasions. On the first, they were able to furnish an elegant shelf and a fireplace mantel from English oak. Although I had purchased the timber from a local sawmill the supplier was unable to shape and plane it: Quayside were only too happy to oblige, and would only accept a small contribution to their tea-bar for their service.
On the second, I needed a large piece of hardwood to make a door sill. Quayside advised me on the most suitable timber within my budget, and promptly ordered it. Delivery was more rapid than expected, and I was contacted to confirm the refined dimensions. Again, with good advice they maximised the impact of the beautifully crafted finished product which has enhanced our home.
Quayside Conservatories display a love for crafting timber, and provide a standard of customer service which is an example to all companies. A band of traditional craftsmen in Beccles who are a credit to their craft and to their local area.
