My second child has just completed his DofE touch typing course and I always knew that he’d do a touch typing course as his brother successfully did one last year but to able to do it for his DofE skills element was a huge bonus and win win all round. All we needed to do was sign him up and the assessors report is submitted directly by Qwerty. Thank you ☺️

My son has just completed the Flexi Touch Typing course over 12 weeks for his D of E skills section. The instructions, guidance, feedback and support he has received has been excellent. Best of all, he now has a useful skill that will stand him in good stead for the rest of his schooling, university and beyond.

Without a shadow of a doubt, QWERTY Type completely exceeded all expectations that I, as a mother had, observing a child making obvious accelerated progress within an incredibly short space of time!

Not only did my daughter successfully complete her Silver Duke of Edinburgh award, but she also thoroughly enjoyed learning an invaluable life skill.

Clare and Philippa demonstrated 100% professionalism at all times, via their written communications and verbal communication with my daughter whilst participating in their relaxed, personalised, weekly class. They were clear and concise in their ability to tailor their class to accommodate all their learners. Not only did my daughter complete all of what was asked of her, but Clare and Phillippa were also able to provide extra helpful tools to enable my daughter to develop further, and now, since the course has finished, continue to grow and build on what she has learned.

My daughter really looked forward to her lesson and is always keen to improve on her achievements to achieve new goals and targets that she sets herself.

For a child who had almost 0 technology experience to becoming a proficient typist within three months is, in my opinion, absolutely astonishing and all credit to QWERTY Type for being fun and engaging to a broad age range who can track their own progress and improve their skills.

We will be forever grateful for the knowledge and encouragement that you have instilled in our daughter, as well as boosting her confidence to independently use technology as she heads into adulthood.

My son used the QWERTYkids for the skills section of his bronze Duke of Edinburgh.
It was well organised and they offered lots of encouragement when his confidence dipped in the middle.
Amazing to have his skills section signed off so quickly by the team once he had completed it.
And, of course, this is a skill that will serve him well in the future.

Excellent course that really engaged my 10 year old son who had no real interest in learning to type. Good combination of exercises and games (based on typing) and the tutor seemed to engage really well with the 5 children. Definitely recommended. Has got me thinking that I should do something similar.

Good communications ahead of the course; my 11-year-old engaged well with the course and found it easy to follow the instructions; 2 hours-a-day during the holidays is about right to keep attention and focus. He doesn't yet appreciate how useful this newly-acquired skill will be but i am sure it will stand him in good stead in the future.

The teaching was really enjoyable and I couldn't believe that when I started I would be able to touch type 36 words per minute by the end of the course.
I cannot say enough regarding how amazing the teaching was and how easy it was to get up and running. My sister whom is 2 years younger than me (I am 14 years of age) will definitely be enrolling next year.

This course was fantastic! We did the 5 day pre-Xmas course during the holidays. Everything arrived in plenty of time (keyboard, stickers, download and passwords) and the course itself was easy to follow and the tutors were very friendly and encouraging of the children. All the kids were able to work at their own pace without embarrassment about falling behind. Our daughter has some learning challenges and she managed the course well with options for further support after the 5 days. We thoroughly recommend this course for anyone wishing to teach their kids to touch type.

My 2 sons 14 and 11 both enjoyed this course and were able to touch type well by the end of it . They did a once a week course for a term . I highly recommend it as it’s straightforward and loved the online aspect which worked well and was interactive . All thumbs up .

Great course, in one week intensive course, my son was able to learn the keyboard without looking at the keys! Very impressive and excellent service from Qwertykids. Highly recommended!

Excellent course - was told exactly what was needed and how the online typing course would work. Teaching was great. My 9 year old son really enjoyed it and it will be a great benefit for when he goes back to school. To have kept my son engaged for 2 hours is incredible - so well done to the teachers! I will make sure my son continues to practice and when he next has a gap to do follow up courses.

My daughter had just completed the Flexi Course. It was great from start to finish. She received positive and encouraging feedback and there was support throughout the course. Remote learning and flexibility to do it when it was more convenient for her were the key elements. I would highly recommend the course.

My 8 year old son has just completed the course with a huge smile on his face! I would highly recommend Qwertykids typing programme - they are motivational, encouraging and the typing exercises are FUN. My son has learnt a lifelong skill in a very easy and stress free way and I can't thank Qwertykids enough.

A great sill to learn and could be assigned to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme

This is a great course. My son has ADHD and generally has to be dragged to things kicking and screaming! He went to this course enthusiastically and has already reached nearly 30 wpm. Teachers were great - communicative, helpful and organised. Highly recommend this course

Great lesson and an invaluable skill learnt. Fun, games style, course which my son enjoyed.

QWERTYkids is great: professional, reliable and with a really accessible approach to learning to touch type - an increasingly important life skill. Clare and Philippa are really responsive to any queries and questions - key to remote learning I think. My 15 year-old son thoroughly enjoyed their Flexi course which he completed for his DofE, and his typing skills have improved enormously.

My daughter has just completed the flexible remote touch typing course with Qwerty Kids, which was brilliant. The software programme used is fun and easy to navigate and the team at Qwerty Kids provided brilliant support throughout. My daughter really enjoyed the course and is well on her way to being an excellent typist, I would highly recommend the course.

My 14 year old son had a wonderful experience learning to touch type with QWERTY kids. He gained a fantastic WPM score, and gained a valuable skill for his GCSEs and A level years. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the course to any teenager to gain this essential skill to help them with their exam years.

I can't recommend this course highly enough. Our 13 year old has always massively struggled with his written presentation and this course has provided a gateway into attainment that was previously blocked. The course leaders were quite simply phenomonal and I am a harsh critic!
