Our customer service team replied to your email and asked for a short video of the setup so we can identify the issue and advise on the quickest solution. We have not yet received a response, but we’re more than happy to help.

Please reply to our email when convenient. If you would prefer to return the product for a refund rather than troubleshoot it, let us know and we’ll send you the return instructions.

Thanks for your review. We’re sorry the connectors did not perform as expected and that the experience has left you frustrated.

Our customer service team responded to all of your emails, reviewed the photos provided and offered troubleshooting guidance to see whether the issue could be resolved quickly. When this did not resolve the problem, we provided a prepaid return so you could proceed with the full refund you requested.

You will not be left out of pocket for the products. The return instructions have been sent to you, the return postage is covered by us, and once the items arrive back, we’ll process the full refund to your original payment method.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback, and sorry to hear the connectors are leaking for you.

They’re designed to grip firmly and significantly reduce leaks, so if all three are leaking badly it sounds like something in the fit or hose position may not be sealing as it should.

There are a few quick checks that often sort this, including trying the hose in both internal positions, trimming a fresh square end on the hose, and softening the hose end in hot water before refitting.

Thanks for your review, and sorry to hear you’ve had to use tape to get the connector sealing properly.

Our JawGrip connectors are designed to fit most standard 1/2 inch hose, but hose tolerances can vary, and some hose ends need a slightly different fit to seal cleanly.

Thanks for your review, and sorry to hear the fittings have started leaking over time.

That doesn’t sound right, especially if the issue is that the screw cap is no longer tightening properly around the JawGrip jaws. We’d like to take a proper look at this and get it sorted for you.

Sorry to hear you’ve had this experience. We replied to your email yesterday and offered to either help troubleshoot the leak or arrange a return and refund for you, whichever you prefer.

Leaks can sometimes come down to hose position, hose condition, or how the connector has seated on a particular hose, so we’re always happy to take a look and help resolve it where possible.

If you’d rather return it, that’s no problem either, the return details have already been sent over to you by email.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We’re really sorry Qwickhose didn’t work as expected for you, especially after you’d invested in a full set for two hoses.

From what you’ve described, it sounds like the connection may not have been engaging fully with your existing attachments. Our system works slightly differently to traditional connectors, as the grey collar needs to be pulled right back while the attachment is pushed fully in, then released to lock it securely in place. That said, you clearly made a proper effort to set everything up, and we’re sorry it ended up being frustrating rather than helpful.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review, we really appreciate the feedback.

You’re absolutely right that the first installation can take a little getting used to, particularly if you’re used to traditional hose fittings with internal teeth.

Your tip about warming the hose end is a great one as well. Softening the hose slightly can make installation easier, especially on thicker or stiffer hoses.

You’re also spot on about pulling the collar fully back when connecting a tap fitting or spray. This works a little differently to traditional connectors where the accessory simply pushes in, so that’s another helpful tip for other users to know.
