Signed up recently alongside having been using the other well-known cashback sites but this was less promoted or I'd have done it sooner. Did some purchases for work on eBay which tracked fairly quickly (at £0 - pending initially but uplifted later). Said I'd get a payout sometime in May but it had confirmed by early April and paid out just over £60 by mid-April directly to my registered bank account. Can't fault it, this has become one of the first places I check when making purchases now and the mobile app is also useful for checking. Hopefully they continue to be one of the best cashback sites out there with some of the highest rates around.

Usually when something seems too good to be true it is. I'm genuinely surprised after 2 months that ive actually had 2 payments back into my paypal account as a result of purchases. I'm still waiting for Temu to authorise the transactions but everythingt else has gone through fine. I've even started recommending to my mates so i get the referal bonuses. No brainer really, just have to not use my phone when i'm buying stuff and save it till i'm on the desktop

I’m very disappointed with my experience using Rakuten UK cashback.

I placed my first order with Temu on 29 March 2026 through Rakuten, expecting 50% cashback as a new Temu customer, plus the £30 welcome bonus for new Rakuten users (valid for 40 days from now). My visit was tracked, but the actual purchase was not recorded.

I contacted customer support and received a generic response saying they are waiting for Temu to report the transaction, which could take up to 60 business days after the return period.

While I understand there can be delays or adjustments, I believe the order should at least appear in my account as “pending” so that my eligibility for the cashback and welcome bonus is protected.

Thinking it might have been my mistake, I placed a second order using a new Temu account. I ensured cookies were enabled and confirmed my visit was tracked before purchase.
Unfortunately, the exact same issue occurred again — the order was not tracked, and I received the same generic response.

For context, I have been using other cashback platforms such as TopCashback and Quidco for several years without any issues. There are also other platforms currently offering around 30% cashback for Temu. If I had known Rakuten’s tracking was this unreliable, I would have chosen an alternative.

What’s most frustrating is the lack of clear support. I am not asking for immediate cashback payout — I simply want Rakuten to:

1. Acknowledge and record my orders in my account
2. Confirm that I will still receive the 50% cashback based on the final order value
3. Guarantee that my £30 welcome bonus will not expire due to this delay

Without this assurance, I may have to return some items, as the prices are not competitive without the expected cashback.

Despite following up, I have not received any response addressing these concerns.

At this point, I’m losing confidence in the reliability of Rakuten’s tracking system and customer service. I hope this review gets the attention of someone who can properly investigate and resolve the issue.

Be cautious if you’re relying on time-limited offers — there seems to be a real risk that valid purchases may not be tracked, with little support to resolve it.

Rakuten is an authentic cashback app. I have really received my cash back everytime I made a purchase. Customer service is good. They always chase your missing cashback and help you the best they can. There is slight thing which is cash back comes after 3 or 4 months but it's still worth it.

I use Rakuten all the time now on site use often the past 2 months earned £100 very happy user Definitely recommend using the site

What's not to love!? you can earn cashback on loads of Companies, the cash payback is Generous and you don't have to pre-logon to the site every time you make a purchase!

No trouble at all getting cash back seem to give the best rate than the rest and the best of it you dont need to apply to get your money they send it every month fantastic 10/10 thank you

Poor customer service they have failed to track my cash-back and failed to pay me three times saying bank has refused payment however bank said they never received payment from them

about the best cash back service i seen , they are prompt and efficient and effective and requires almost no input from you.

I have been using Rakuten on Amazon, Temu and some other major online shopping platforms.

I have successfully received cashback twice and have another coming.
