The service here is extremely disappointing. Honestly, the whole thing feels suspicious. I returned an item for valid reasons and was told I’d receive my refund within 3–5 days according to their policy. Once that timeframe passed, I contacted support, and suddenly the story changed — they said I had to wait up to 14 days due to a high volume of orders.
I waited as requested, but nothing happened. Now it’s been almost a month, and I still haven’t received my money. Every time I reach out, I get the same generic reply about the warehouse “processing” the return.
At this point, it really seems like they’re intentionally delaying refunds or avoiding them altogether. I wouldn’t trust this store — it feels like customers are being misled, and support is practically useless. I strongly recommend staying away to avoid dealing with the same situation.

Realicé un pedido (RBY1429104) desde Rarebeauty.com el día 23 de marzo, y mi pedido pasó 16 días en "procesamiento" pese a que en un apartado de su página (el cual está bastante escondido) estipulaba un máximo de 3 días de procesamiento. Luego de ver que mi orden no llegaba a ningún lado y que "escalarla" tampoco llegaba a nada, la cancelé, y también fue complicado que lograran hacer eso ya que tuve que hablar con soporte dos veces, así que la verdadera fecha de cancelación fue el 10 de abril. Todo iba bien, y se suponía que mi reembolso iba a llegar 5 días hábiles después, llevo 7 días hábiles esperando dicho reembolso, hablé con soporte y ellos se excusaron diciendo que ya ha sido procesado, pero no muestran pruebas reales más allá de una factura de mi compra. El supuesto reembolso no se ve reflejado en mi cuenta. Si quieres comprar algo de esa marca, mejor hazlo desde Sephora y no cometas el mismo error que yo al facilitarle a estos ladrones lo único que saben hacer: robar.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Rare Beauty.
I returned my order (EXC-RBY1421839-1) over 14 days ago, yet I have received neither a response to my emails nor a refund. The complete lack of communication from customer support is absolutely unacceptable.
I have contacted them multiple times via email, but all I get is silence. It honestly feels like once they receive the return, they simply “forget” about the customer.
This kind of treatment creates serious distrust and leaves a very negative impression, especially from a brand that claims to care about its customers.
I hope this review finally gets their attention and pushes them to resolve the issue and process my refund.
At this point, my experience has been extremely negative.

When that period passed, I wrote to them, and they said they had a lot of orders and I’d have to wait 14 days
I waited 14 days, and guess what?
It’s been almost a month, no money, and the same old response—wait for the warehouse to verify it
I think this is all a big pyramid scheme, and when people request returns, they just don’t get their money back
So I advise everyone to avoid this store; they’re just scamming people and don’t even respond to any customer requests for help
I hope no one else falls for their fraudulent scheme
Delivered Very Fast & With Extra Treats
I am not sure if the bad reviews were simply because it was busy time periods around big holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. But I did not have any negative issues with Rare Beauty, and I never have for the 6 years I have been ordering from them. I tend to get my products quickly and without issue. Take this most recent time, for example: I ordered the neutrals palette on March 27. It shipped out the same day. I was able to track as always, and I knew it would be going to Royal Mail and what the expected date was. The expected date was April 7, which is only 11 full days after shipping (and only 7 business days after shipping). It, shockingly, came today, April 4. That means it was delivered 8 full days (and only 6 business days) after shipping. It was early! And this was not the first time this has happened to me. Additionally, it was all nice, swatching the product was delightful. It feels so smooth on the skin and the exact amount of pigmentation I was hoping for! This is going to be my daily makeup, and I am very excited! Additionally, RARE was so kind and threw in an extra treat, as a small body lotion (which I love because then I can test products and make sure it is something that I am not allergic to before I order a full size!). I also got the canvas makeup carrier, which was a delight because I needed one for travelling! Overall, a great experience.

I would give zero stars if I was able to do so. Ordered products of the 27th November and still waiting for them to be delivered. Emails are ignored, live chats are useless and left ignored after committing to answering your query within 3 minutes. Eventually had to call the US at my own expense to ask where my items were, to be told it looks like they are lost in transit and I am still waiting. Have asked multiple times for the name of a senior manager to discuss this with and surprise surprise these requests are also ignored. I will not be purchasing from rare beauty again and will not be letting this dreadful company get away with taking my money and not fulfilling my order. Selena you really should be dealing with these issues that are damaging your brand but I am sure that even this review will be ignored like everything before it. Stay well clear of rare beauty unless you want to part with your money and receive nothing!!

Awful experience! I ordered more than a month ago and haven't received anything. When I try to contact their customer support they literally ignore my emails or answer something that is generated and have nothing to do with my order. I wish that I had checked these reviews before ordering. Hopefully someone else will see and be aware. To be honest I love the products but will never ever order again. For a company like this, just an awful experience.

Damaged product knowingly shipped, no human support
I received a damaged Rare Beauty blush (Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush – Cheer). The item arrived broken and was placed separately in a plastic bag, while all other products were packed normally. This strongly suggests the damage was known prior to shipment.
I provided video evidence of the unboxing and contacted customer support multiple times. Instead of receiving help, I only received automated, unrelated responses about PR collaboration. No human representative has reviewed my case.
Rare Beauty refuses to resolve the issue unless I return the damaged product at my own expense. This is unacceptable. This is a defective item, not a discretionary return.
At this point, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of customer support and transparency.

Deeply disappointing first experience
I really wish I had checked the reviews before ordering.
I placed my first order during Black Friday and was genuinely excited to try Rare Beauty, but the experience has been a letdown from start to finish.
The promotional BF gift never appeared in my cart due to an error on their site, and customer service showed no willingness to fix it.
My order was placed nearly two weeks ago and still hasn’t shipped, and judging by other reviews, I’m starting to wonder if it ever will.
Customer service takes about a week to reply, and when they do, the responses are unhelpful and provide no real solutions.
Sadly, this will be my first and last order.
PS. I wonder if Selena ever sees these reviews?

Awful experience purchased with delivery to United kingdom paid expedited shipping was supposed to receive within 8-10 days.
10 days come and go and it's not even been shipped never mind received. I had an email saying DHL had received the shipping information but it's no been two weeks and DHL still don't even have the package. Daughter's birthday has been and gone, no response from customer service despite emailing numerous times I'm now having to do a chargeback with my bank for a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid at all costs

Couldnt even order since the website doesnt even work. Tried one Highlighter in Sephora then and was soo underwhelming. Was about to buy the powder highlighter in the lightest shade. It was advertised as natural and glowy without big glitter particels but when i tried it on my hand it was quite glittery.. so a no for me.
