One of the worst car-buying experiences I've ever had.
On June 5, 2025, I purchased a 1970 Chevelle SS from Gateway Classic Cars. I was told by Salesperson Justin Slaton that:
* The car was in "perfect working condition."
* The engine was new with only 400 miles and produced 700 HP.
* The air conditioning worked great.
* The vehicle was a true Chevelle SS.
These statements were made verbally and in their ad materials. I relied on these representations when deciding to purchase the vehicle for $75,000.
When the car arrived in Florida on June 18, (3 days late) the truth became immediately apparent:
* The A/C didn't work at all.
* The engine made loud noises and failed completely during my first short drive. The car had to be towed.
* My mechanic confirmed catastrophic engine failure and advised not to even restart it.
* An expert inspection by a local Classic Car repair shop revealed metal shavings in the oil and severe internal damage.
Worse yet: After professional research, the car turned out to be a Malibu Sport, not a true Chevelle SS. This is a value difference of over $30,000.
Total estimated damages:
$15,000 - Engine rebuild and A/C repair
$30,000 - Devaluation due to false SS claim
= $45,000 in total loss.
I understand buying a classic car "As Is," but misrepresenting the engine, working condition, and authenticity of the car is fraud--not just bad salesmanship.
If you're considering a purchase--don't take them at their word. Triple-check everything independently. Their "quality control" and honesty are clearly lacking. If Gateway doesn't take care of this, litigation will follow. Is there anyone else out there that has experienced the same misrepresentation?

I keep getting invitations from RaveCapture to review a purchase from a company that I do have dealings with. However, the invitation wants me to review a recent purchase - I have not bought anything from the referenced company in at least a year.

After leaving a review for Aurelle and Bloom, I finally received the exact same reply that every other person does to my review and a bogus tracking number from a bogus customer service rep. When you track the order, nothing happens, and the customer service rep doesn’t respond about removing me from the “membership.”

This is the review I wrote for a company that RaveCapture.com "reviewed" with many testimonials. You decide if RaveCapture.com is legit:

CasualHookups.com is a complete scam. I winked at, sent a card to, emailed, and chatted with every single woman in my state. The few replies I received were all copy-and-paste from their existing profiles. Not one person wrote an original word. Also, you will receive emails from them when they are offline, which means a bot is responding. 70 emails/chats sent, zero responses. And the message was very simple, "Hello, nice to meet you. Would you like to meet?" In addition, notification boxes constantly pop up saying what the woman just did, but they are all offline when the boxes appear. I found a bunch of reviews on RaveCapture.com which is obviously a scam site. Read the reviews there and you will understand. I even signed up for the Gold Package with an additional VIP upgrade to have full access to everything. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SITE!!! To top it off, there is no way to contact the company on the site. Saying I am upset that I was scammed would be an understatement because of the fake review site associated with them. I will be writing a review on RaveCature.com as well. In addition, at the bottom of the RaveCapture.com "review", there is a contact email for CasualHookups.com. Are you surprised that the email does not exist and gets rejected?

Realize.com is quick with deposits and real easy to use the website. Had some issues in the beginning verifying my account but after that it was smooth sailing. I recommend 100%

I have an old car and the leather is all showing signs of wear so I used a plastic and hai on promoter, dupli-colour viny and fabric spray paint and a clear coat. Looks amazing

My experience was I signed up without knowing on TikTok and the next day €66 were taken in my bank account. I contacted toyzones Long story short, they took the time to look it up and refund me my money

Pure scam. Apparently they seem to be doing scam business with pdfsmart Geneva Switzerland, which is being investigated by the Interpol for online fraud and money laundering. So do give these conmen a very wide berth.

Paka's website is full of perfect reviews because TrustSpot allows them to hide literally all of the negative reviews. Extremely shady and untrustworthy! They have made online reviews beyond worthless.

Terrible scammers site full of fake reviews

DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE!! They allow companies like 1000-likes.com to publish fake reviews. By the way... DO NOT TRUST 1000-likes.com either. They are really a company called DA THAN DA company Limited in Thailand... a toilet cleaning company! DO NOT give them any money to buy likes or followers on social media.

I bought some glasses from Cornet Barcelona and read the Trustspot reviews which were glowing . No one mentioned “Made in China” . The reviews were all glowing . I did not realize this site was not reliable. Horrible!!

Edit : December 26 Trustspot replied that they found a review I apparently missed where the writer complained about being misled by being made in China but that review was otherwise glowing. I cannot find the review but I accept it exists. But where can I add MY review to the Cornet Barcelona site where I would be writing that I would never again buy from a site where I am misled to believe the glasses are made in Barcelona but when they arrive the are “Made in China”. They are presents so I gave them but I am unhappy I was put in this situation.
Edit 2 : December 27 Trustspot says I should have received an invite to review 14 days after my order was received. I do not recall receiving any such invite any of the times I ordered but I could be wrong. If they send an invite now I will be delighted to directly review CornetBarcelona on its website vs indirectly review on Trustpilot. My review of Trustspot would improve if I see my review is published .

I prefer where I can directly review on a site like i do on the Amazon site for example. They can then verify I am in fact a customer before publishing my review.
I updated to 3 stars from 1star because at least I am getting prompt responses from Trustspot. That is something .

I didn't have a clue when I started wearing Wigs.. mono and lace was an unknown language.i had no idea about this mysterious "wig lingo" anyway the wonderful chairman of the gods Richard persevered with my learning...God bless him

and I now fluent in wig lingo. valentine's in my opinion are the beat supplier in the universe. they bend over backwards to go the.extra mile they check stock regularly for me..quite happily..

I'm sure some days when I want to know things I email.6 or 7 times they always answer immediately. their prices are exceptional..

and Valentine's NEVER.EVER rip.you off on postage costs..I know friends of mine have been hit like this from other places not the wigs God's Valentines.

the wavy on stand are when I brushed it and me wearing it is me going to lunch with my friend on Saturday...incidentally...she said..omg I always say to my husband you have fabulous hair...I said I KNOW

TrustSpot knowingly allows companies to cheat reviews.

TrustSpot representative told me they allow customers to "curate" their reviews...meaning they don't have to show negative reviews. Avoid any company using TrustSpot because their reviews are artificially inflated.

We've had a brilliant experience of Trustspot after working with them for several years. We get a mix of reviews but generally high as we focus on a great customer experience - not because we hide bad reviews as some people mention. Highly recommended, great features and much better value than the alternatives.

I tried to write a review for MyGreenOutdoors and can't find a way to write a bad review. It seems Trustspot is protecting them. It probably is not, but it feels that way.
How do I tell green outdoors company they need to answer my three calls, after a week of no updates on my order?

Trustspot allows businesses to hide low scoring reviews, very untrustworthy.
