RC Willey - Salt Lake Reviews 

I recently purchased a dining table from RC Willey, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! JC Christensen was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and guided me to the perfect table that matched my style and budget.

JC’s knowledge about the products and his attention to detail were impressive. He made sure the process was smooth, from selecting the table to arranging delivery. The table itself is high-quality and exactly what I needed for my space.

I highly recommend RC Willey and especially JC Christensen for anyone looking for great service and beautiful furniture!

Your representatives in Orem were very helpful even though the item said it was there and wasn't they offered to help get it shipped to South Salt Lake the next day. However the next day I called Will Call in South Salt Lake at 10:05 am and someone there said the item was there. So I drove from West Jordan only to find out it was not there. The problem was the Will Call employees were not very helpful and didn't seem to care that I drove all that way and brushed me off. I was very unhappy. I went up to the office and luckily I met Michael and was more than helpful. If it wasn't for him and your staff in the office I would have considered rating this a lot lower, if not all together reconsider working with your company. Michael was amazing, he offered to track down where the item was, call me once he got word, and offered me solutions. I was so pleased how quickly he got back to me and the entire staff in the cashier/customer service office were so pleasant a vast difference from Will Call. I was able to go to the warehouse and get my item because of Michael and was very pleased.

I recently had RC Willey’s install a Sony Bravia 65” Television in my home. The salesman who goes by “Duck” couldn’t have made the process easier. I didn’t even have to go into the store. I called to see if they could install a television on my wall that I had recently purchased elsewhere and he then indicated it would be no problem. “Duck” then arranged for their installers to deliver the appropriate size bracket to my home several days later and for their installers to install the bracket as well the Television in the location I directed them. Their installers texted me with their approximate arrival time. They arrived right on time. The installers were very clean and meticulous in placing the television where I directed them and cleaned up after themselves. The entire process could not have been more convenient and the cost was simply added to my RC Willey’s personal account. I had recently purchased an entire home carpet installation as well as purchasing a Sofa, Love Seat, and Recliner. My salesman, Jerry Willey, made that an enjoyable and convenient experience also. I would do business with RC Willey’s again.

What a nightmare with the flooring department

I placed my flooring order in the end of October. The issues are still not resolved.

I ordered flooring from here because it was slightly cheaper than the local store, and the nightmare began.
1. Their flooring measurement specialist did not ensure we ordered enough flooring, and ordered a series of inappropriate moldings, stair nose, etc.
2. The installers who came (round 1) spoke zero english and couldn't communicate with me about the plan. They paid no regard for putting flooring together in an aesthetic manner, purely took the top piece from a single box until the box was gone.
3. The installers left with their portion of the project incomplete and stated they would return the next day. They did not.
4. I called RC Willey who was unaware they had no-showed, and could not schedule me again for several weeks.
5. The next installers come (weeks later) and we STILL don't have enough flooring pieces, to complete the floor, and still have the wrong molding/stair nose.
6. This set of installers does an absolute HACK JOB on the stairs, and spills glue all over the floor. There are pin-nails exposed on several portions of flooring and stairs which tear up our socks til we get them fixed, they told our contractor the stair bases were fine just for later to have to tear all of the stairs off and start from scratch because the stairs were all loose. (This is not just a frustrated customer opinion, this is all confirmed later by the people hired to fix the problems).
7. All in all, there are 7+ days of my time spent at home so that flooring installers could come finish a single room project, not including every phone call I had to get transferred and transferred to someone who could help me.
8. Poor communication continues about not getting credits for the returned incorrect pieces and I am receiving late fees for money that isn't owed.

Young men in warehouse were very pleasant and thorough making sure the tv was in good shape and working order before loading.

Salesman was very nice and helpful

The cashier is really helpful. The extended warranty department did not process my credit properly when I called. The cashier stayed on the phone with them for a long time to clear things up, and I got the credit issued to be by the EOD. Thanks for her patience and professionalism!

The lady I worked with was honest.Helpful and considerate! It was a very nice experience.

If I could leave less than one star for the SLC location and warranty department I would. I purchased both a dishwasher and a range on the same day and was emailed invoices of both. Both stating that I had extended warranties. They are lying and saying I do not after the dishwasher they sold me after 14 months burned a hole through the metal of the dishwaher and could have burned down my house. Such awful customer service and I will never purchase from them again. Do not purchase from here and DO NOT use their extended warranty.

Update! I emailed them
As they asked and cc’d my girlfriend who I live and own the appliances with and they offered their same horrible customer service. Do not buy appliances from RC Willey and Do Not ever buy their extended warranty.

The online order confirmation, OC, did not have the correct address for pickup. When I went to the RCWilley facility in SLC at 2301 S 300 W, (address on the OC) I was told the dishwasher was not there. Then, one of the employees suggested going to another facility (a warehouse close to the airport). There, I was able to pick up the dishwasher. But that address was not on the order confirmation.

Ordered a product on website only to be emailed the next day that its not available

Easy process and fast pick up

Fantastic salesman I have had for years & delivery guys a definite 10!!!

The sales team was excellent. They answered all of my questions, helped me save money, helped me find the best washer and dryer for my needs.

I ordered something to be picked up on 12/12/24 and have not heard back about when it will be fulfilled. It only says its scheduled to be fulfilled. Very disappointing and i dont think i will be buying from rc willey anymore

Have used RC Wiley for most of my home furnishings. Sales Reps are always very helpful and have never had any problems from the time we purchased our items till they were delivered to our home. Even to Tabiona.
