Great experience - lovely people
Eduardo and Guilherme were so lovely and very helpful the whole time. A 2 bedroom apartment took about 4.5 hours and they were able to come a little earlier which was able to finish before sundown.

Excellent movers.
Had Junior and Junior collect my goods for transport to Melbourne from Brisbane. Great care was taken towards loading with blankets. A thorough stocktake was taken prior to loading. Both lads were friendly, communicated well, on time. Also communicated well prior to arrival. Would highly recommend their service and expertise. Thank you to the Ready Mover lads Junior and Junior.

Storage boxes from Brisbane to Mackay
From the care given to my nephew's home in Brisbane and my effects (which is going into storage) during the uplift. The removalists provided amazing service, from placing rugs down from the truck, on the wet pathway and into the home to protect the carpet. They also repacked a valuable item to ensure its safe delivery. All my boxes/tubs made it safely to their new home without damage. It did take a little longer for the expected delivery, but I was in no big hurry. The admin/ops staff chased it down and informed me quickly of my delivery date/time. Thank you, I will recommend Ready Movers to family and friends.

Was happy with move. Both workers were careful with all belongings, only reason for a 4 star review was a lack of communication on moving day. Arrived 1h15min late and had to call to confirm they were still coming.

I would not use Ready Movers again.
I booked my move months in advance and repeatedly confirmed that a smaller truck and additional van would be provided due to access constraints at my collection address. Ready Movers confirmed this multiple times in writing and advised they had checked the site and allocated suitable vehicles.
Less than 24 hours before the move, they advised they could no longer provide either vehicle and instead proposed an alternative arrangement at additional cost to me. I was also told that the site had never actually been inspected as previously claimed and had only been assessed via Google Maps.
On moving day, the truck managed to access the property, but the promised van never arrived. As a result, not everything would fit and I had to transport some items myself. The loading process was also extremely slow, which was frustrating given I was paying by the hour.
The final cost ended up being around 50% higher than originally indicated. The most disappointing part was not the movers themselves, but that arrangements repeatedly confirmed in writing were not honoured. What should have been a straightforward move became an unnecessarily stressful experience.

We are sorry that the experience felt stressful and did not meet your expectations. We acknowledge there was prior communication around vehicle arrangements, and we understand your frustration that the original plan discussed with our sales team did not proceed exactly as expected.
Ahead of the move, our team reviewed the access concerns and worked to provide what we believed was the most suitable solution based on the driveway access, the items listed, and the logistics of completing the move safely and efficiently. After further assessment, it was determined that using a ferry vehicle or additional van may have hindered the move rather than assisted it, which is why an alternative arrangement was discussed with you before moving day.
We also appreciate your concerns about the time taken. Based on the access, travel, loading requirements, and volume of items moved, the total time taken was within a standard range for a move of this nature. That said, we understand this was not how you expected the day to unfold, particularly given the earlier discussions around vehicle allocation.
In recognition of the miscommunication and inconvenience, we provided a discounted rate and made every effort to address the concerns raised while still completing the move safely. We are pleased the crew were able to access the property and complete the majority of the move, and we appreciate your comments acknowledging their efforts on the day.
Your feedback has been passed on to our sales, operations, and branch management teams so we can review how access requirements and vehicle arrangements are communicated and confirmed moving forward.

Thank you Ready Movers. I was so stressed about moving - but from the moment your removalists, Adam and John arrived, I knew I was in good hands! They were so friendly, professional and worked non-stop to move my items to two different locations. Nothing was too much trouble! I have a beautiful hand-crafted wooden dining table that is very sentimental, but also extremely heavy.. they made moving it look easy! They packed and transferred it with such care.
