Sobre el Dr Carlos rosales Orozco cirujano otorrinolaringolo dedicado a realizar cirugía plástica facial en el hospital joya Cancún,viajo desde España año 2025, después de haberme realizado un lifting facial el año anterior (2024)para realizarme unas cirugías faciales ,una vez llegado a México pago la intervención un día antes,pero tras revisar los correos, observo como el presupuesto dado en pesos mexicanos antes de partir de España es claramente inferior en cuantía a lo finalmente pagado
Antes de operarme,pido aclaración con el cirujano Carlos rosales Orozco,el cual niega que esos correos sean de su empresa a pesar de tener su logo y su correo electrónico, entonces le digo que se tiene que hacer responsable de los errores de ses empleados,y que si yo viaje hasta México fue producto de la diferencia de precios con España y que para operarme con precios españoles me hubiese quedado en España,se niega a cumplir su presupuesto,y yo pierdo los gastos del viaje (avión, alojamiento,comida, transporte,etc)

Dr. Sprole was not friendly at all. She removed a cyst between my breasts on 10/20/25 and the scar looks horrible! Would hate for her to work on my FACE!!!
Today is March 27th, 2026, and I'm just now getting a bill from this procedure. Why so long???

An Egyptian surgeon (Breast and Body Clinic, Cairo) who was already banned from WhatClinic for fake reviews and had suspicious Google reviews removed is now active on RealSelf. He is posting new reviews almost daily on his realself page , all following the same pattern.
I have contacted RealSelf multiple times to report this issue, but no meaningful action has been taken. This raises serious questions about how seriously Realself takes patient safety and the integrity of its reviews !
Despite multiple warnings, RealSelf has taken no action ! In the medical field, reviews are not just opinions they can influence life-changing decisions. Allowing misleading or potentially fake reviews is extremely dangerous. Under U.S. law, it is prohibited for practitioners to mislead patients, especially in healthcare !I'm thiking of contacting authorities in this matter... Due to the seriousness of the situation, I have also reached out to a journalist currently investigating the impact of fake reviews in the medical sector. This particular surgeon is reportedly under investigation by the Egyptian Ministry of Health as well as 3 prosecutors.
Based on this experience, I do not consider RealSelf to be a reliable or trustworthy platform when it comes to verifying medical professionals or protecting patients.

Your website is one of the most use UNFRIENDLY and primitive I have encountered in a long time. Further:
1.) I never get responses to my emails for help.
2.) I can never figure out how to log in.
3.) I cannot access my profile when I do finally log in.
4.) i wrote a review and want to update it with photos and receipts and I can not locate it.
I am so unhappy and frustrated that I am basically giving up on you unles you help me out, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~!!!

Great site with good resources, information, medical advice and specialist reviews.

My negative review of the plastic surgeon has been removed. I wonder why. I thought the whole idea of this site is to help people. Instead you are exposing them to harm, even knowing about it.
Please explain.

I couldn’t be happier with my facelift and eye surgery. I look and feel 20 years younger

I relied on RealSelf’s “Verified” and “Top Doctor” badges, believing they represented safety and legitimacy. What happened to me was devastating and traumatic. I would not wish this experience on anyone. It goes far beyond cosmetic dissatisfaction. The physical and emotional impact has been life changing and permanent.
The doctor I found through RealSelf upsold me a package, skipped major parts of my surgery, and used unauthorized techniques that left me disfigured and with nerve damage. I now need expensive and complex revision surgeries for procedures I never wanted but was pressured into, including work that was originally promised and paid for but not performed.
Before this, I was healthy physically and emotionally. My doctor falsified credentials, skills and experience but appeared on RealSelf as a verified provider. I later learned this badge is paid advertising, not proof of safety or qualifications. My doctor should never have been listed here.
After I shared my story, my original one star review became visible only on my profile but was hidden from the doctor’s page, while clusters of nearly identical five star reviews remained. I did not violate any terms or request removal. My review was written to protect others from being harmed the way I was.
I am now under the care of multiple specialists and can no longer compete in the sports I love. Trusting RealSelf and one of their “top doctors” has been the biggest regret of my life. It has had devastating consequences for my health, confidence, and livelihood. In my experience, RealSelf’s platform made it difficult to identify safe and qualified providers. The way it operates feels misleading and unsafe.
My private medical photos were posted publicly without consent. I have also seen what appear to be other unauthorized patient images on the site. False or misleading advertising in plastic surgery puts lives and well-being at risk.
I have connected with other users who experienced similar harm. RealSelf must prioritize consumer safety over profit.
I am posting this review to share my genuine experience and to warn others. I am a real customer and a verified patient.
Update: I have rewritten this review because earlier versions were flagged and removed. Both on RealSelf and now on other review platforms, my honest experiences continue to disappear, while advertising content remains. I have kept this version as neutral and factual as possible, yet every statement here is true. If it is removed again, I will continue finding appropriate public channels to share my experience so others can make informed decisions about their health and safety.

I WROTE A FOR MY DOCTORS PRACTIVE. THEN I GET A NOTICE THANKING ME FOR A PURCHASE TO YOUR COMPANY. I DIDNT ORDER ANYTHING!

I used to run a successful beauty business then a completely insane former customer put an entirely fictitious false review online on RealSelf. I sent so many emails begging them to remove it and they refused.

I considered suing as I made £20000 a month and overnight I lost all my income but I live in the UK.

The review was entitled ‘she scarred my face’ but with my name in the title. About 3 months later I closed my business down completely because of this false review they refused to take down. They are actually guilty of libel.

It shouldn’t be allowed for a customer to trash a technician especially with zero evidence. I have never scarred anyone’s face! I think RealSelf is dishonest, amoral and should be banned.

Their honesty and integrity and the ability for patrons to have a voice. I think this is a very important platform for people to communicate their experiences they have had with providers.
