Discovering Sri Lanka with local guide
What made our trip around Sri Lanka extraordinary and unforgettable, was - aside from the spectacular landscape, fantastic culture and beautiful wild nature - without a doubt our local guide/chauffeur, Chamara. Not only did he know everything about the plants and animals, the history and religions of Sri Lanka, and of course all the mayor sights and attraction throughout the Sigiriya, Kandy and Ella. But he also excelled knowing all sorts of local places and good restaurants - not only at the planned stops, but also many places in between.
On top of this Chamara was amazingly good company, and was able to engage with everyone in our family. He was capable of creating a good and relaxed atmosphere - and also extremely well-spoken, nuanced and insightful when it came to providing insights to our many questions into everyday-life in Sri Lanka as of today.
This made the time fly by more quickly than we could have imagined - but made us full with impressions and memories - and a strong desire to return to many of the places we’ve visited at Sri Lanka all over again.

We are very satisfied with our holiday…
We are very satisfied with our holiday with Rediscover Sri Lanka. Our driver/guide Ushan Eranga drives safely and provides an exceptionally good service. He plans the stops very well and listens to our wishes. During the drives he explains what we see and is aware of many things, so it doesn’t get boring while driving. His English is good and we feel very well taken care of. My wife and I had our wedding anniversary during the trip. Ushan arranged a cake from the hotel and a present the day after. We are grateful for this. The concept of having a driver/guide through the full holiday is not something we have done earlier, but for sure something that we will do again. We have experienced a lot and we feel like we have a good impression of the Sri Lankan nature life, culture and hospitality

Rediscover Sri Lanka brought me closer to Sri Lanka and its culture. It was an unforgettable experience. The trip was varied, from cultural to historical and natural moments. Vi har haft 2 fantastiske ugers vandreferie i Sri Lanka. Naturen er enestående og overalt mødte vi en utrolig venlighed fra rejsebureau, chauffør, guider og lokal befolkningen.

If you are a family travelling to SL and wish to see all great sights in a safe and friendly atmosphere I recommend Nishantha as driver. We were a group travelling and enjoyed his good company.

Great tour through a beautiful country
The well organised and diverse journey with our driver Manoj from Rediscover Sri Lanka provided great insights in this beautiful country. The program was very interesting and allowed us to learn more about the culture, food, wildlife and history of Sri Lanka. We stayed at lovely and eco friendly places beeing mostly outside in nature and eating super delicious local food. The people we came accross were all very friendly, open-minded and helpful. A big thank you to our driver Manoj, who took care very well, always informed us about the next steps, provided us with plenty of information and knowledge during the journey and was flexible for adjustments if needed.
We enjoyed the tour a lot.
The only improvement could be made with the water supply, where we were regularly given pet water bottles. Maybe an own branded sustainable and refillable water bottle could be provided to the guests at the beginning of the tour and then regularly refilled by a bigger tank in the car.
We are very grateful for this amazing tour, thank you.

Amazing trip with our friendly guide Deepal from Rediscovery
We had a wonderful and memorable trip to Sri Lanka in which our guide Deepal from Rediscovery played a significant role. He picked us up at the airport and had prepared an exceptional birthday celebration for our daughter the day we arrived.
He took us on trips every day and shared his knowledge about everything from temples to animals. He has a lot of knowledge and knows all of the hidden gems, places and views. Furthermore he was always patience with us and made sure that we were happy and comfortable throughout the whole trip.

Wonderful family holiday in Sri Lanka
My 3 generations 10 person family group has had an exceptional and wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka for 15 days. Planned and arranged to perfection by Rediscover Sri Lanka. Everything went smoothly and in good time. We can not thank you enough.
Our kind, humorous guide Niroshan Perera made all extra requests possible and shared his great knowledge of his beautiful country from ancient history, colonial Ceylon to modern, vibrating, independent Sri Lanka of to day. While mr. Kanishka drove us safely the many miles of traveling.
Even the last day on the way to the airport our requests were enabled by Lakshan.

Family vacation in Sri Lanka
Our family of 7 (grandparents, two adults, three kids) had a fantastic 10 days holiday in Sri Lanka. Our driver, Susantha, picked us up in the airport and took good care of us all ten days. He was very friendly, and good to suggest interesting sights for us. He even arranged a surprise birthday cake and balloons for one of us.
Beautiful nature, temples, elephants and friendly people made our vacation truly memorable.

9 days of adventure with Susitha as guide
Just returned from two weeks in Sri Lanka with susitha as a guide and driver the first 9 days. Susitha is a safe driver. It takes a little longer but with safe arrival. Susitha has been excellent in suggesting sightseeing outside the official program and offering fruit tasting along the road. We can only recommend Susitha and RediscoverSriLanka for your next trip to Sri Lanka. An excellent travel agent, who does their best in solving any problems you have. We have a problem with a flooded hotel room after heavy rains. With help from the agent the hotel was convinced that another room was required.
RediscoverSriLanka has our best recommendations.
