Steve and Paul were both excellent throughout.

Steve clearly explained the process, scope and fees from the outset. He was always responsive, helpful and happy to answer any follow-up questions.

Paul carried out the structural survey and was very knowledgeable and helpful during the site visit. He produced a clear, practical report and also took the time to provide further clarification and guidance afterwards, which I found invaluable.

Martin Redston Associates answered all my calls and emails quickly and courteously. Within a day, a senior engineer, Anna, who was knowledgeable and charming, visited the site. Other firms I contacted wanted an upfront payment for a written report (in one case, a 40-page report!) before knowing if one was warranted. By contrast, Martin Redston Associates has an easily understood modular pricing structure, meaning you only pay for the services you need. There's a single fee for a site visit, and other services, such as a report, can be added as needed. I highly recommend Martin Redston and would definitely use them again.

I have used MRA many times. They have always been creative in working with me as a client and always found a way to make things work so efficiently. I have never had any problems with any of their schemes with building control or warranty providers. I was forced once to use another firm who I inherited when I bought a project and it was full of issues.
