Nice product, extremely difficult to move and assemble.
I think the quality of the product seems good. I had an issue with a piece of wood being split for the sauna and the Redwood team helped with reconciling this issue.
Redwood undersells how labor intensive assembling the sauna will be. It takes every bit of 7-8 hours with two people to assemble and it is very difficult.
They did also not properly relay that the delivery company will drop everything off on your driveway on pallets. We had to beg them to simply move the pallets into the garage. I then had to coordinate getting a very heavy (already assembled) cold plunge to the final location which took 5 people and a dolly to move.
When ordering they definitely undersold how difficult it would be to get everything assembled in the final location at your home.

Our investment in the Redwood Outdoors Sauna and cold plunge has been one we never regret. The saunas benefits are unrefuted, and there are lots of sauna distributors. Our order came promptly without any issues assembly went together good we did hit a few snags and any issues that we’ve had with our purchases Customer service has been fantastic and we would definitely order from them again. We have referred them to many of our friends and they have ordered them and are thrilled with the product.

Needed replacement shingles.
I called for replacement shingles due to a windstorm. Service dept had them shipped out and at my house via FedEx in no time. Great customer service and very friendly staff.

Company has been terrific. Had a small issue with the temperature not getting hot enough so I called, and Brad was great. We walked through it and realized I had placed the heat sensor too far from the heater which was limiting the temperature. Now seems to be working great.

Good, but could be better
Initial interactions in November, with Redwood Outdoors were very positive. However, after making my purchase I received no information about shipping dates. After sending two unanswered emails I had to call Redwood Outdoors to get real time information about when my sauna would ship. Also, the floor for the sauna is on a 6-week back order, but I have received no updates about when it will be shipped. I’m 99% happy with the sauna (minor fitment issues), but “after the sale” communication could definitely use improvement.

Poor Aftersales Support
Poor Aftersales Support. I bought a cedar tub from them about 4 years ago. I decided to disassemble it to move to another property. I emailed and called them to get a copy of the installation manual to reassemble it, but they won't respond. Now, I need to figure out how to reassemble it without the manual. Very annoying.

Structural deficiencies but good customer service
Ongoing issues with the door fit. The door jamb is not well designed and is not moisture stable in an outdoor environment, so the door can’t always close. Door handle fell apart. The design of the heater crib is not structurally sound and requires modification to reliably hold the heavy heater. Good customer service, though. Replacement parts are sent promptly as they fail (door hinges, door handle).

Product is excellent. Customer Service Excellent. The only negative is that the amount of money and time to set it up was not disclosed. We had a full group working 2 days to set it up indoors and bring the proper 220v electric to the sauna. But during setup, we had some issues and customer service picked up quickly and put someone on the phone who knew a lot about the electronics. Rare and excellent

Not impressed
Disappointed in how much extra work and money we had to put into the sauna after paying 10k for it. There was basically no roof, certainly wasn’t insulated, shingles were ripped in several areas and no surface to nail them onto. Door was not sealed at all and couldn’t keep the sauna warm. Needless to say lots of trips to the hardware store to remedy these flaws.
Now when friends ask where we got the sauna from I tell them don’t get it unless you want to put a lot of extra effort into it. Anyone who assembled this or sat in it just once would have realized its short comings.

Easy to assemble
Delivery directly into my shop. No missing parts. Assembly was straight forward. I was short a few rocks for the heater, probably because I was so diligent in stacking them. I reached out to RO and they sent me another case of rocks! Once my electrician hooked it up its been working great. The app was a little glitchy at first but I had it working after an hour or so futsing with it.
