Nie wieder RegioJet!!!
Ich hatte ein Ticket von Nürnberg nach Frankfurt Flughafen gekauft. 30 Minuten vor der Abreise erhielt ich eine E-Mail, dass sich der Bus 40 Minuten verspäten werde. Ich sollte das Unternehmen kontaktieren, wenn ich mein Ticket „kostenlos” stornieren möchte. Auch 40 Minuten später kam der Bus nicht an, weshalb ich sofort ein anderes Ticket von FlixBus kaufte, da der Bus bereits am Nürnberger Busbahnhof war und ich meinen Flug nicht verpassen wollte. Nachdem ich das Ticket von FlixBus gekauft hatte, schickte ich sofort eine E-Mail an RegioJet mit der Bitte um Stornierung des Tickets. Zwei Wochen später schrieb man mir, ich müsse erst einmal mein Flugticket hochladen, damit man meinen Fall prüfen könne. Ich habe alle notwendigen Unterlagen an RegioJet weitergeleitet, aber seitdem hat sich niemand mehr gemeldet. Ich musste einfach auf den Kosten sitzen bleiben. Nie wieder RegioJet!
Rude driver refused boarding against their own policy for baby car seats
They refused to let my 4 year old kid to board claiming she needs a car seat when their policy states that you need one for a kid up to 3 years old.
Plus, when I booked online, there was no notification.
Plus they let other families to board with kids at same age.
Plus, they never responded at any email I sent. Funny enough, their CEO likes to hear, they have a special link. I know already where it ends up (at the garbage bin).
Plus, FlixBus never bothered cause they checked our passports and saw the age of our kid.
Plus, the bus was late 20minutes (25/08 Vienna-Brno, 13:40).
Plus, the driver was extremely rude.
Guess who lost the bus and paid out of their pocket to carry on to our final destination (family of 4).
Dont bother, simply go with Flixbus.

Man reserviert in Fahrtrichtung und sitzt immer gegen die Fahrtrichtung, weil sie die Waggons umdrehen. Also stundenlang sthen, sonst muss ich mich übergeben. Die App zu. Erfrischungen bestellen funktioniert während der ganzen Fahrt nicht. Mündlich nicht möglich. Das Zug WaLan funktioniert auch nie. Eine einzige Sauerei
Very good service
After taking several trips with RegioJet, I can say they're often quite chaotic in organization of the trains (trains and seats getting chagend shortly prior to the journey seem to be the norm). But what they lack in this part, they absolutely make up in service. The staff on the trains and the counters is very helpful and polite. I have visited their lounges in Vienna, Brno, and Prague and it's such a nice amenity to have. I especially enjoyed it recently when travelling from Brno in the middle of a heatwave and unlike the railway station, the lounge had AC.
The seats were comfortable
The seats were comfortable, there was no delay, everything was organised beautifully and the service was excellent in my first trip with regiojet. But when we booked another trip with them it wasn’t all the same. The train was a bit dirty, there were no ACs in the train and the service was horrible!

Worst experience ever. Travelled from Budapest to Prague in 37 degree heat on a train with no proper AC. Couldn’t find our seats because of the terrible numbering system. Staff were rude and unhelpful. We ended up sat on the floor of the train with no seat allocation. Would give this company minus stars if possible.
Worst train journey ever!!!
I have been shocked and appalled by my journey with regiojet. The service has been unacceptable. We received a message at 7pm the night before our departure that the AC on our train was broken. As a 7 hour journey in the middle of a heat wave, with temperature reaching 37 degrees, this is utterly unacceptable. We call up regio support thinking we can move to a later train with AC to speak to the most unhelpful employee. She tells us the journey might be a bit uncomfortable and we won’t be able to sit together anymore. This is appalling. We agree to move our train and get the later service with AC to find that there is actually no AC on this train, no clear carriage numbers and we can’t find our seats. When asking for help we were ignored and dismissed. We ended up sitting on a boiling hot floor for 7 hours. As two 21 year old girls who just wanted help and to be dismissed and ignored by all members of staff is disgusting and shameful. Very disappointed in the whole company and will be making a formal complaint to both the train operator and company.

I wish I could give minus star to this shit train from Budapest to Vienna. No AC!! 30min after departure, I received an email that AC is out of order! You can cancel or change your tickect!!!!! Cold water is for sale what I had as free of charge water was boiling water!! No soap in the restroom 🤢 of course it is cheap travel option, but I never waste my time by traveling with this company

Terrible! 18 hours to get from Budapest to Prauge. Should have taken 7… They sent us out of the train, and we were on our own to find trains and busses to prauge. They said that if we got to Breclav we could take any train, for free, into prauge. Ended up costing 70£
I'd do it again.
It's a slightly strange and retro experience, but overall, not bad, and great value for money. We went from Budapest Deli to Vienna and back in Business Class (the highest service level); departure from Budapest was on time, train was clean, and service was good onboard - due to an electrical issue there were no hot food items or hot beverages available.
On the way back two days later departure was an hour late due to issues on the track before the train arrived in Austria, which was beyond the control of the company. Service was again good onboard, and we enjoyed the excellent value menu of food and beverages. The AC was not working well on the return journey and our entire coach was quite warm.
Due to the delay, the train terminated at Kelenfold station (the first stop in Budapest) instead of continuing to Deli. Not an issue for us as we could easily get home from either, but I wonder what they did with the passengers waiting at Deli to board the train back to Vienna?
Value for money compared with other operators on the route (looking at you, OBB) is excellent; our return journey cost 70 Euros each; on OBB in Business class it would have been 3 times higher. Food and beverages onboard the train are unbelievably good value. Welcome bottle of water and choice of prosecco or juice is offered in business class on boarding.
Overall, I would do it again.
AC never works! Don't use RegioJet in the summer
I frequently travel on the Vienna-Budapest-Vienna line. The air conditioning never works on the RegioJet carriages. There is always a silly explanation, such as: "It's summer, miss," or "These are very old carriages," or "It was very cold in Prague when we started this morning." If it's 35°C outside, it can reach nearly 45-50°C inside, which can be damaging to your health! Especially the first class and the seats in carriages 5 and 6 are affected, but carriage 3 wasn't working either (even after they moved me from 6 to 3, which made no sense). This is not service in the 21st century; it's a shame they can even operate in summer!

Schade - Wasser wurde ausgeteilt aber das macht es nicht gut, dass alle Fahrgäste klatschnass aus dem Zug steigen.
Avoid them no matter what
I've travelled with RegioJet several times (5 times, specifically).
Almost every time they just changed the carriage arrangement, but alright, that's not big deal.
The second time (last year) they notified the train (Prague - Przemysl) would depart more than two hours earlier than it should (happily, I usually travel with a reasonable amount of time in advance just in case such unexpected things happen, but I'm sure not everyone could make it).
This time has been much worse. They sent me this message:
"Hello, for capacity reasons it was not possible to provide tickets for your connection 21.07.25 11:17 Kyjev, Hlavní nádraží → 21.07.25 19:50 Přemyšl, (IC 715). Please contact our hotline +420 222 222 221 to purchase an alternative service on another carrier or to cancel the entire ticket. We apologize for the complications. Regiojet"
I bought the tiket MORE THAN TWO MONTHS in advance. How can you tell me now you have no tickets for me? I called via the phone number they indicated and they were just unable to offer a minimal help or support. They have offered me no compensation, no "alternative service" nor "other carrier": they just said I can cancel the whole ticket (Kyiv-Przemysl + Przemysl-Prague) or the affected connection (Kyiv-Przemysl). That's all. I have now to search and book myself and at my own cost a night bus (because it's too late to get a train ticket) that goes for more than 12 hours to get in time to the next connection (Przemysl to Prague) not to miss the third and last one connection to get home (Prague to Madrid, by plane). Because they wouldn't compensate ANYTHING. They took the money and want no responsibility.
I will definitely do my best to get a compensation from them and never travel with them again.
