Their support is horrible, I forgot my email address where one of my apps were hosted when I contacted them to stop that app with proofs they refused. Just sufferings

Free tier is garbage. Server goes to sleep within hours and you can't access what you worked on.

I upgraded to their paid services, and I haven't had a problem since.

The people that are complaining need to quit being cheap and spent the $7 a month.

I cancelled all of my services but still accidentally had one of the monthly packages. After getting billed, I asked for a refund considering I didn't even use the service all month and they declined. Their service is quite expensive for the quality provided.

The problem is that i can't take a static one outbound IP address. Instead, they have dynamic a range of IPs, but they do not offer a fixed IP in the premium packet, but proxy for this fixed IP from a third-party website. very baddd.

It has been nothing short of a nightmare. I paid for a service that I was never able to use, because every payment method was blocked regardless of the card I tried. On top of that, they suspend your entire service, yet still charge you for the time you remain blocked. An absolute disgrace.

Service is fair good. Payment ? a Nightmare. They decline your credit card (before aceppted and working) whitouth give any explanationis/solutions. Result? your projects will be suspended and you can loose months of works. No support untill now.

A piece of truly garbage only designed to steal money. Once deployed, my web app I got to a black page and the web app never loaded. Their free service is a nightmare to deploy, and the performance is awful !. Constantly pressuring for an upgrade of the plan, page caching for the pay service only.
Please avoid it : 0 star is the adequate punctuation.

Worst Service. Do not rely on it as I hosted my node js script and it didn't stand the load and went down in few days. Complete waste of time, currently shifting to new host.

Waste of money

So far, i havent had a problem with render. I dont understand why theres so many bad reviews, but i might learn in the long run, in that case i will update this review.

At first I was mad.
I thought I would upgrade to the Pro Plan and get an always on service. That is when I found out that I had to ALSO pay for the service that I wanted.

So I bounced around looking at other solutions. What I found was shocking.

Deploying web services is effectvily pay as you go.

So I went back to render and took a deeper look.

Now I'm deploying all of our apps on this service.

They make deployment easy. The pricing is actually straightforward. The service is very responsive.

and the integration with Git makes the deployment super easy.

Now I'm happy.

We are using them for the enterprise grade micro-services architecture application, and lots of testing deployments.
Render.com admin environment from the UI perspective is completely robust and not compromising the functionality and UX for the "holiday lights looking" UI, but strictly functional and easy, minimalistic as for a good example. Even when the application becomes a fully scalable monster SaaS that is a network of webservices, 3rd party API-s, vendor custom implementation, etc....with loads more to list....render is just a plug and play mechanism once it's configured by a fundamental DevOps standards.

Plans and costs are fully transparent and realistic.

RenderCLI is something amazing, and improves CI/CD speed and quality to enormous amounts.

On top of everything, and for me personally most important, if you are seasoned CyberSecurity expert who is developing webapp-s with a utmost care of Zero Trust Security best practices, and finds the clients privacy and security as a priority, you can rest assured, because Render is hosting your services on the SOC 2 Type II and ISO27001 certified infrastructure!

It's also providing you with numerous ready to implement application status endpoints, not to mention it's robustness and bulletproof functionality at it's finest!

This is supposed to be an objective insights, because of years of working with 2 of their main competitors, or should I be more precise, main "similar service" providers, whose brands I wouldn't disclose to keep it professional.

You are expecting security audit soon? They provide you with audit logs too!

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
After wasting a lot of time installing all my applications and databases, not only does the server work very poorly and very slowly, but worse still, when I try to upgrade to a premium account so as not to lose my data (something they don't warn you about at the beginning of the installation; they only give you a few days' trial and then everything is lost), it's impossible! It keeps telling me, “Your card is declined,” and I've tried several types of cards (Visa and Mastercard) from several different banks, all of which have sufficient funds and are correctly configured for online payments.
There's been no way around it, and customer service (which is a chat with AI) doesn't solve anything at all.
If you don't want to waste your time, never sign up with this company. It's unreliable, doesn't work well, and they don't respond.

Top-notch service with a 5 stars customer service.
There was a mishap (it was partially for our fault) they were super honest and helpful in the process. We really like this company and their ethics.

Time wasting and fake plans. The free tier mentioned free workers and when you have setup, there is no free tier in it.
Don't understand how their business plan work. Just to grab a little money without proper plans and services.

Not satisfied i want to delete my account and remove debit card but it can not give me access to do that bad services of every time

Horrible. I deployed my python application to test it and maybe even use the paid service in the future, after 15 min server goes sleeping, after 20 min I try to make a request, 40 minutes later the server is not waking up, did not wake up at once. Those 100% on purpose to get you immediately using the paid tier, absolute utter garbage, stay away from them.

Horrible illegal practices locking you into the platform. You pay once, they charge forever, no way to get out!

I'm using free tier and this is the best option if you know how to find the workaround.
