Rent.com isn't a reliable source. They list false rental amount. They list the rent lower than what the property is actually renting for. They gave me false hope on several listings. The listing cost a lot more than the price rent.

This site does not generate enough leads to make the money worth it! I spent $135 for their premium listing and got a pathetic two leads in two weeks! This is the second time as a landlord I have listed a property, paid a lot of money and had dismal results. Zillow has much higher traffic and leads generated for a fraction of the cost.

Dont use this site, they will not gonna help you if you have problem with the rent company. The company that rented the car wanted an extra 250 euros for insurance when I had already payed from rentals.com. I ended up not taking the car and I didn't get my money back from rentals.com.

Infested !! and put together by non professional, registers coming out of ceiling, big holes where pipes are and old outlets, not legal basement suite.

A waste of money of $76. There is 0 lead over 3 weeks. I can't believe it. It's truly a waste of money and time. This is a joke and ridiculous. I would wish I could get my money back from these guys. Stay away from this system and stick to Zillow.

My plane was late and whe I arived in Miami the rental company was closed.
I needed to rent a car witch another company.I was there witch my wife and my children.
The Rentals did’t give my monay back.
Real disaster I was very disapointed never again.

My flight was delayed due to Orlando airport being closed for lightning and by the time I landed, the car rental company was closed. I had to take a taxi to the hotel which cost me $100. When I contacted Rental.com they said that they “had to” charge me a 3 day penalty because I didn’t pick the car up before the rental company closed.

arrived at desk and was told i need a utility bill as well as my licence, Who carriers a utility bill with them ? Was told they wouldn't hire me the car and then didn't refund me. what a joke .....never use this site

Paid $76.99 to add my rental property and the site barely has any traffic, offers no usable metrics, or even functionality to interact with potential renters. Waste of money, stick to Zillow.

The rental company didn’t give you car and also you will not received full refund. Very unprofessional and illegal. Don’t recommend this website.

This company is fraud I hire i car that I never picked up when I did ask for my refund they told me I didn’t get any refund I paid £169 for no service at all and I end up with no rental car. This company told me that I was not able to get Money back.

This company is a total fraud. My property was listed for rent. As the owner I DID NOT list it for rent. This is a scam in progress but the company never called or emailed me back to de-list my property. Be very, very wary of any listing on this website. Anyone can list any property without any ID or property documents requested. A scammers dream. You have been warned!

Wow, trying to find a house to rent that allows dogs. Well, I put on the filter to "allows dogs" and I get a query of 21 houses! Well imagine my surpise when in 7/10 I looked in the description the last thing it says is "NO PETS". Are yall not capable of filtering this kinda thing out? Are the property managers lying so they get more traffic? Either way I am going to be using other sites.

Total scam, charged nearly $100, generated 2 view a day. DO NOT USE!

They lawfully lie! As a matter of fact, they lie right on their website.The part where they mention about accepting or accommodating all types of people through all walks of life! It's profound & utter **** ****! I have always been a good tenant and have great references, a good credit score, I met the criteria of their application process except, I was turned down because they "do NOT recognize Aish payments as a source of income" during the course of a global pandemic. But they sure are eagerly trying to fill their apartments up. Let's mention how many of their tenants have lost their jobs due to the covid pandemic themselves and had to retreat to attain ****/***/** to make rent? How many people in lease agreements had paid their rent with the government Aish benefits? They stated in my upon my viewing in two different cities at the exact same time searching for an apartment & during my application process at both locations 1. Medicine Hat Alberta & 2. Red Deer Alberta. I was told that and I quote **** ********** *** **** ** *** ***** ** ** *** *** ********* *** ** * **** ** ********* **** *****!" End quote. Were the exact words they told me. But anyone's Job can fold too at anytime! That is exactly what happened to not all, but most Canadians since the beginning of the lockdown. Remember, Businesses closed Province wide/Canada wide? How does that make you look? Avenue living, that because of your company policies, you are responsible for leaving people out in the cold and with very Limited options for shelter even though you advertise on all social media platforms offering an affordable housing for anyone through all walks of life! can't find housing in their budget because your corporation won't accept Aish through your company policies in the application process, and these people are being turned down! That's on YOU Avenue Living! You might want to try taking a few things into consideration and change some of the issues with your policies.

Horrible company. Disorganized. Mismanaged. Do not rent from this company. Avenue Living bought our two apartment buildings in Sherwood Park, Alberta on April 30, 2019. Problems started right away. We were directed to an address downtown to arrange payment of rent. They gave us the wrong address! Quality of life has deteriorated ever since. We kept getting new problem tenants. They were not screened properly. Some had drug problems. Thefts have started. Marijuana is being smoked inside our building. This is a fire code violation. Our former property manager (with previous landlord) who was excellent was fired. He was replaced with a Residential Portfolio Manager who looks after 5 or 6 buildings. Many RPMs only last 3 to 6 months. Some had to eat lunch in their car because they were overworked. Our latest RPM won't return calls, answer emails, or respond to texts. I have contacted the owner of Avenue Living twice to sit down over coffee and respectfully and amicably address tenant problems. He passes my requests to his assistant and she says we can't meet because of COVID restrictions. I therefore asked him to meet in a Zoom meeting online, but he will not respond. Some of us are now taking the landlord to the Residential Tenancy Dispute Resolution Service of the provincial government in Alberta. It is informally known as the Landlord-Tenant court. I encourage others to do the same. If you need legal help, there should be a community legal fund in your area made up of law students who can help you. You are not alone in your struggles with Avenue Living. Do not let them bully you.

They are crooks! During this pandemic they are taking advantage of the economic, strife. They have bought up multiple rental complexes in the city. They bought my complex last April, said they were gonna do a lot of improvements. They also assured us that they would not be increasing our rents. A year later, were still under a state of emergency, and they are increasing our rent, by 20% ! For me that is a 200$ increase! Witch is criminal if you ask me. They say they legally within their rights And they wanna charge our pets rent too! I can understand a deposit for possible damage, but monthly rent of 25$ for my cat!. I agree with all the other bad reviews! Extremely miss managed, neglectful with safety, and clearing walk wats and paths. As a matter of fact, I fell on the ice and seriously broke my back in Jan 2021. Still recovering, and am in the process of seeing them. Now the residential manager is targeting me and trying to evict me! DONT RENT FROM THEM! You will regret it!

Guys!!! I read the reviews but I didn't pay mind to them because I thought some reviews may be due to only peculiarly unfortunate circumstances.. but boy!! ZERO leads!! $74 wasted. They didn't even post on rent.com. Searched my property and did not find it. What a scam!!! Zillow gave me all the leads and it was free!

It is an attractive website to place your homes photographs and description on. I only got one response and it did turn out to be the tenant I have now. But the lack of other responses indicates that this is a lousy site. In such a hot housing market, there should’ve been dozens of responses. Then, I used their rent payment collection system that is somehow intertwined with another company called Yapstone. Yapstone set up the payment arrangement to be deposited in my checking account, but the payments arrived later and later each month over the year. The arrangement between the Yapstone and rentals.com is obscure, and when you make a complaint about the lack of verification of rental payments, one company points to the other company. Finally in September 2022 Yapstone stopped the payment collection and did not advise me until I noticed there were no deposit in my account. When I contacted them, they said they have ceased collecting the rent, without any explanation. They suggested I contact rentals.com. But as you can tell from the rest of these negative reviews, rentals.com is not responsive.

The next time I want to rent my house, I will look for another company.

I used to use this WEB for my rental before. it is working but not this year. I pay for $100 to ad but no phone call nor contact from Tenant. It is just a scam!!!

This is a poorly managed site. There are free alternatives that are more effective. I would not recommend this for single listings. The quantity and quality of leads are inadequate; no leads for weeks, no value add. Customer service is not mature. Overall very scammy.

SCAM! They charged me $134.98 to run my listing. It is still showing as inactive or must renew (but I JUST activated it). There is no one to call or email about this. No human. Just a SCAM. RUN AWAY!
