Reposed 6 month subscription feedback

Received Reposed box subscription as Xmas gift. Was very happy with my first box, and excited to see receive rest of the subscription. Very positive exchange with the social media team, and box was nicely packaged, with interesting book featured. Although didn't buy, feel that 6 month subscription is very good value for money, based on content. Think of it similar to a beauty box that comes with sample size products; this box has small items for use over one evening plus a great book (which is what it's all about really!)

I might have to subscribe for a year!

I received my first box yesterday and as soon as I opened it I ordered my second one for next month. I think I'm going to become a regular subscriber. I got the most gorgeous tealight in it and a cute lipbalm. Plus I can't wait to read the book! Also I love this brand's Instagram, it's really inspiring so I recommend you give it a follow ;) xx

I’ve been a subscriber for over a year…

I’ve been a subscriber for over a year now, and have sent subscriptions as gifts and some of the packages to friends for birthdays. I’ve found the subscription to always have books that I would never have picked myself, but I really love, and the additions are always perfect treats which make my day! When looking at trying to streamline my outgoings, my book box was a non negotiable- as something I have just for me. I’ve always found customer service to be really helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend!

Extremely disappointing Customer…

Extremely disappointing Customer Service. I loved the concept and had received a gift myself but my order status showed as ‘Processing’ but after one email saying don’t worry it will soon be sorted, I sent 2 further emails which were completely ignored and order appears now to have been cancelled. I am so disappointed to have to say this,

Brilliant Box

I have been a subscriber to Reposed for nearly two years now (it is gifted to me each year on my birthday) and I have to say that I have been endlessly impressed. Not only are the book selections perfect (I am a BIG reader and have never had a duplicate and am always intrigued and excited by the books received) but the accompanying treats always hit the spot. The beauty gifts are always of a really high quality, from luxurious brands that feel like a real treat each month. And you can't go wrong with sweet treats, tea and coffee.

What really stands out however is the fact that the customer service from the Reposed Team is top notch. I hadn't received my December box for 2020 and am being shipped a replacement box. They are always quick to respond and take care in their customers. Would recommend this box to everyone - it's such good value when you take into account the fact that the book alone would cost circa £8.99.

Really shocking customer service.

Really shocking customer service.

I had the 6 month subscription. The packages themselves are really nice. However, they are dispatched at completely random intervals and really hit or miss whether they send a dispatch email so there is no way to know when to expect the package, or if you were meant to get one and it hasn’t turned up.

I emailed last week because I had only received 5 packages from the subscription. After listing the books received, they established that my October package was missing, however as their Royal Mail tracking (which until now wasn’t shared with me) said “Delivered” - nothing to show who to or whether it was the correct address, they claimed there was nothing to be done to rectify it. Given that there was nothing delivered to me in October and no card through the door, I can only assume Royal Mail either misdelivered it or left it outside and it was stolen.

According to Reposed, this is my problem not theirs. Given I had no idea when to expect the package (they were completely irregular and at more than monthly intervals) and no access to the tracking, I fail to see what I possibly could have done to identify this, until now when I worked out my subscription had ended and I hadn’t received all my books.

I was planning on resubscribing, but definitely won’t be after this. I feel like I’ve paid hard-earned money out for nothing, and instead of the advertised treat to relax and unwind, I feel frustrated and angry.

I would recommend that anyone considering subscribing instead buys books from a reputable retailer that does proper tracking and reliably sends out dispatch emails, so that your money won’t be wasted if something happens to your package.

Unfortunately Royal Mail shows that all of your boxes have been delivered to you - the tracking shows the date that this arrived at your address. We do notify our members when boxes are being sent - so if you haven't received those emails, we can only apologise. We do send our boxes out at the same time every month, so it's very strange that you received these at regular intervals. As a gesture of good will, we'd be happy to offer you next month's box at half price - please email support@reposed.co, and they'll be able to get that sorted for you!

Underwhelming and Not Worth The Cost/Hassle

Have read a few reviews on here now as well as some of the 'replies' from Reposed themselves. Here is my honest review of my dealing with them and the eventual product I have received.

I initially ordered a box with them on 17th December, it was something my wife wanted as a little something extra so I obliged and ordered. On 21st December i received a promotional email from the company indicating that if i ordered now I would receive my item before xmas, so I emailed support for an update on mine as the website only indicated that my order was processed.

I explained that I was curious to an estimated delivery as they were pushing delivery before xmas - I had a reply a few hours later explaining my item was dispatched (21st December). I was also informed that "However there is currently a huge Royal Mail backlog, so we are hesitant to guarantee that this will arrive in time for Christmas. So sorry" I completely agreed and understood, a little disappointing to say the least.

I asked for tracking info so i could trace over the xmas period as i was resound to the fact it would not be here before xmas, and was told i would receive tracking info in the next 24 hrs.

I heard nothing and I emailed again on December 24th to ask again for tracking number as my order was now showing complete on the website, I heard nothing back. I emailed 2 or 3 more times over the festive period, just to enquiry about my tracking info.

I had a reply on Jan 4th to indicate that the offices had been closed for 2 weeks and a tracking number, which would only update once delivery has been made or attempted. They also noted to me that Royal mail would not class an item as lost until 15 working days, or the 15th Jan.

I questioned the ordeal, asking if my item was posted before or after the xmas break, and if they could provide a proof of postage or in-transit tracking number, i was given neither. I was given another version of Royal Mail having a huge backlog etc. and that my item was posted on 23rd December.

I emailed again on January 6th, calling out that I had initially been told 21st as a dispatch date, now the 23rd. I also questioned how they seemed to be the only company struggling with this Royal Mail "Backlog' as we had multiple items delivered over this period?

I heard nothing back. I did today (7th Jan) receive the item. Interestingly sent Royal Mail 24, dated - 5th Jan!

Anyway, the product. £44 pound got

- a £5.99 Book
- A small A5 Notebook
- 2x Tea Bags
- 1 tea light candle
- A bar of chocolate

Item was packaged nice, and the wife has loved the book - was very short as she has finished it. Would have made a lovely little gift had it gotten here, but was certainly not worth the £44 - you could have done the same for under £10 in my opinion.

Overall, I initially appreciated the whole 'backlog, royal mail busy' because of the short turnaround and the time of year/pandemic, but other companies were managing fine, i find it hard to believe that this one struggled, they should certainly look at there outgoing procedure.

The response from them was nice, when it came, but very vague, good help if anyone ever has an issue with them. I will not use them again and would advise to stay clear, if you don't mind the wait or the cost for what you get, then you may well enjoy it, not for me, ill stick to amazon.

The RRP of this box is £52 - and the full description of the product was available for you to see before purchasing, so it's difficult to understand exactly what you thought you were buying here. These boxes were sent on December 21st via a 24 hour service, sadly Royal Mail is extremely busy due to the pandemic

Disappointing and poor customer service

Really disappointed, love the products and the books so kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but I just feel ripped off now. Bought a subscription for myself and my mum, at the same address, so just ordered 2 under my name so I wouldn’t have to do 2 separate orders. Received an email asking if I’d accidentally ordered 2, I explained it wasn’t an error but only received 1 box. They eventually replaced it but this happened twice more in 6 months, with the boxes that did arrive often arriving weeks apart. When I was charged £25.60 for this month but had only received one box the previous month, I cancelled my subscription and contacted them to ask if there was any way of cancelling this month’s boxes. They said no, but I intend to contact them again to ask for a refund for the missing box. Overall not impressed at all and super disappointed as when I did receive the boxes they were great.

AVOID!! Terrible customer service.

I was given a 3 month subscription to Reposed as a gift, and the first one came without any issues. However, the second book never arrived.

When I reached out, they said their system showed it had been delivered by Royal Mail. When I said it had never arrived, they said: "We would love to be able to follow this up, but unfortunately the type of Royal Mail service that we use in order to keep costs down for our customers does not permit us to pursue claims for lost parcels."

This seems totally bizarre to me and such a cheap move. I was given this as a gift, but now it's my responsibility to follow up with Royal Mail? When I showed them a link on Royal Mail's website which explains it's the sender's responsibility, they accused Royal Mail of "passing the buck". When in fact, it's very clearly that Reposed are passing the buck.

When I asked why they couldn't just send me January's box instead (since I was due to receive 3 boxes and only received two), they said: "We will need to look into this after Christmas, as we are completely swamped in the pre-Christmas rush at the moment."

This whole ordeal has shown me they literally don't care about their customers one bit, they're downright rude and don't know how to handle basic issues.

Also reading some of the responses the Reposed team have left on Trustpilot reviews has left me speechless. They've been everything from downright condescending to making statements like "we’re genuinely sorry if you’ve not received the excellent member support we pride ourselves on" - which is clearly so far from the truth it's laughable.

Have warned my friends not to use them, and I would suggest that anyone else avoids them at all costs!

Used this company for a care package…

Used this company for a care package for this Christmas.(2020) Ordered in Nov plenty of time for Christmas. Had to email twice as it stated order completed on the website I hadn’t had any delivery details or estimated arrival date. They blamed Royal Mail & Black Friday yet plenty of other parcels were arriving & ahead of time too. 2 days after the last email it finally arrived through 48 hour tracked Royal Mail! So posted it the same day as my 2nd email. Then disappointment hit home. It arrived with the contents of the care package in a Jiffy bag . I simply tipped out the contents on the table. It looked like I had just emptied a handbag.
The Tea lights are plain tea lights you can buy in bulk. The hot chocolate sachet looked well crinkled like it had been handled too much. The tiny bar of chocolate wrapping was dirty on the back. So all in all I’ve paid well over the odds for the book! You can’t give this to anyone as a gift! It states letterbox packaging although the pictures on the site make it look like it’s in a box & the items inserted into the right shapes holes. I have bought previously letterbox hampers (chocolates & biscuits) & they have come in a small box the width of the letterbox & the contents packaged beautifully with tissue paper covering its contents. This is totally lacking in this ‘care package’ I do NOT recommend! I am going to have to spend more money buying a suitable box & adding to this as it looks paultry for a gift!

Our scented tealights are handmade by an artisan company in Cornwall and each burns for over six hours - they're one of our most popular products and we always have amazing feedback on those.

We're sorry to hear about the crinkled packaging of the hot chocolate, this is likely to be due to transit. If you'd like to send us a photo of the damage, we'd be happy to provide a full refund for you.

Royal Mail are completely overwhelmed at the moment due to the pandemic, and we have made it clear across multiple channels that parcels are delayed, as they are with 99% of other retailers.

Poor experience with customer care

I have had a really poor experience with reposed. I purchased a subscription from the company as a gift for a friend, and two weeks later got an email to say that I had been charged the incorrect shipping and would be required to pay an additional £15 in order for them to ship the boxes. I asked for a refund instead, and was told this was against their policy. I pointed out that it is not legal to deny a refund for a distance contract and got no response from their customer care. Upon further prompting they said that I could have a gift voucher instead. I declined and asked for my refund. They did not answer, and when I emailed again, their response was that it wasn't possible to refund me because they had already processed my purchase (this is, of course, despite the fact that their first email said that my order wouldn't be processed unless I paid the additional shipping...). I have asked for a refund again, and it has been 5 days since I heard from them. If you're buying from them, I really hope nothing goes wrong with the process because their customer care do not seem particularly interested in resolving issues.

If you purchase a product labelled for the UK when you are not in the UK, it's obviously not possible for us to ship this to you. Ireland is not in the UK.

Great product - Bad customer service

I love the subscription boxes, always lovely treats and great books.
I have, however, found that the member of staff responsible for responding to messages on Instagram has not much idea about how to communicate politely with customers, and comes across as very dismissive and rude. I feel guilty for asking anything and never receive the help/explanation/response that I asked for without pushing.

Guilty Pleasure

Reposed.co is an experience that can not be explained by words. I enjoy all the surprised that I get every month from masks to cute little thing to the best of it which is the book. I love that I can have this experience in a non-English speaker country. Here in Italy, you wont be able to have UK products all gathered together with unique taste. I have searched a lot to sign up for a book box for a long time and I am happy that I am using Reposed.co as my GUILTY PLEASURE :)

Lovely treat

I love this monthly box! This month I got a little candle, two tea bags, a lovely face mask, a posh chocolate bar and a book. Its something I look forward to each month (especially during lock down) and its affordable which means I can keep it up. I always get stuck in a rut with books and this is a great way to get introduced to new titles & authors that I wouldn't have necessarily have found. The website can sometimes be a bit difficult to find what you're looking for and has gone down a couple of times but its no drama - the team respond to messages, the book box turns up every month without fail and it feels like a lot of care and thought goes into it the products chosen and the packaging. Its all gorgeous and its helped me read a book a month and carve out some time for myself. I've given one as a gift as well and my friend was pleased. I never trust/write reviews but wanted to write one because I really like what this company does & want to support them. Love it!

The best subscription box ever! It’s always my favourite time of month when my reposed box arrives, always full of lovely goodies and a great book and the packaging is always lovely. For the price it is so so worth it, would highly recommend to anyone that loves reading / self care!

Great book and beauty subscription

Great delivery service bringing gorgeous books packaged with great beauty products, really nice teas and sweet treats. Always really enjoyed the books I’ve received, and they’ve always been something I’ve never heard of before! The teas and chocolates always feel very luxurious, and the beauty products are top quality.

Please use a different company

I have purchased from Reposed twice now. Both times their delivery of the item was far later than stated on the website. This wasn't so bad on the first occasion, but this recent purchase arrived 14 days after the order was placed; rendering it useless as a birthday gift. On both occasions they blamed this on Royal Mail, despite the fact that there have been no other such issues with any other Royal Mail deliveries. It seems they take orders and then post items in whatever time frame suits them. I would highly recommend that you use a different and far more reliable book/gift service; of which there are many.
