REP Provisions is a direct-to-consumer meat delivery company. We raise grass-fed and grass-finished beef, soy and corn free pork and lamb. We also provide no-soy pasture-raised chicken. All of our animals are free from antibiotic and mRna vaccines. Our farms are chemical free meaning we don't use fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. Hi Nury, I see you deleted your previous one star review and left another one. Again, we’re sorry for the issues that you had when paying for your orders. I understand that you believed our system placed duplicate orders for you. As explained in our previous email communications, when you placed three separate orders with us, you used Shop Pay as your payment method. Because Shop Pay securely processes the payment information, we do not have access to your credit card details and our system is not capable of placing orders on a customer’s behalf.

We also explained, as stated on our website, any time an order is canceled, our payment processor charges us a $15 fee for processing the original transaction and issuing the cancellation. I see that you did decide to keep your orders, and we are very grateful to you for that. But unfortunately, because you requested that two of your orders be canceled, we would have had to pass along those fees if you decided to cancel.

Quality, flavorful product

I ordered 2 bottles of the bourbon glaze for the second time. It tastes great, gluten free, non gmo, quality ingredients! Packed well and received quickly. I am very satisfied with this company and I have already recommended it to several of my friends.

Love the chicken

Shipping is fast. We love your chicken breast. It tastes so good. We are excited to try the wings on the smoker! We enjoy the Ribeye and Pork Chops too. You have several items we'd like to try but they are out of stock, except for the bundles, which include a lot of ground beef and sausage, and we don't eat much of that.

The beef tastes very high quality

The beef tastes very high quality . I highly suggest getting the subscription on the products you always eat. I personally like the beef chuck because I love it in my stews.
The customer service is very polite, and immediately resolve any issues.

Well when I took the meat out of the…

Well when I took the meat out of the box I just put it in freezer, then a couple days later I took out the New York Strip and I noticed it was open to the meat itself (so I don’t know if it happened in shipping or what but I always give benefit). Then it was so fatty hardly any meat I was kinda disappointed. But I push forward and see how the rest of the meat goes. I always gives chances before anything. Hi Denise! Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re so sorry about the damage to your packaging. Unfortunately, we do realize this happens from time to time and I’m very sorry about that. That’s why Inside your box we place a paper called “Good Things to Know” with some very important information about your products when they arrive. The issue you had is one of them listed on that paper. During the shipping process, our boxes can take quite a beating. The frozen meat moves around, especially as the dry ice starts to dissipate. The packaging can become very hard and brittle at times due to the extreme cold temperatures inside the box and with the extreme movement of the boxes, the packages rub against each other which can cause micro holes, tears or damage to occur. Please know that we do carefully examine each package before placing into a box and would never place a package that has any damage or a broken seal inside the box. This only happens during transit. It is still completely safe to eat and in no way will degrade the taste or quality of the meat and does not need to be discarded. This is why on the “Good Things to Know” paper, we state to make sure and place a plate underneath your meat when thawing. Again, I’m very sorry about that. We don’t like it when this happens either but it’s extremely hard to ship frozen products with the amount of abuse the box goes through before it reaches the customer.

Regarding the fat on your steak, as stated on the paper inside your box, we do ask for photos anytime there’s an issue so that we can get a better understanding if what you received was normal for our products or not. We want our customers happy and always try to make sure we take care of you in case we sent something we shouldn’t have. Customer service people are in denial

Customer service people are in denial, they don’t accept responsibility for anything being wrong with their product. Received multiple busted packages upon arrival, freezer burn on meat—-they said it’s all normal and part of the process! They are hiding behind “you should buy shipping insurance” that’s pitiful! Meat quality is meh 🫤 and nothing special about it to tolerate their lack of accountability for product quality and customer care. I’m one and done 👎
oh and I received a note inside my packaging with what was in my opinion, bad cow humor-completely inappropriate, I did mention it to them but no response.

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience with us, as this is not something we hear often. We sincerely regret that things did not work out as expected for you.

As mentioned in our previous email communications, damage to packaging can unfortunately occur at times during the shipping process. Inside each box, we include a sheet titled “Good Things to Know,” which contains important information about the products upon arrival, including the issue you experienced.

During transit, our boxes can go through significant handling. As the dry ice dissipates, the frozen products naturally shift inside the box. Because the packaging is exposed to extremely cold temperatures, it can become hard and brittle, and with the constant movement during shipping, packages may rub against each other, occasionally causing small tears, pinholes, or minor damage to the outer packaging.

Please know that every package is carefully inspected before being packed, and we would never intentionally ship a product with a broken seal or visible damage. These issues occur during transit and are unfortunately outside of our control. This is also why we recommend placing the meat on a plate or tray while thawing, as noted on the “Good Things to Know” insert included with your order.

Again, we are very sorry this happened. We certainly do not like it either, but shipping frozen perishable products can be challenging given the amount of handling and movement the boxes endure before reaching customers.

Based on the photos you provided, none of the products appeared to show signs of freezer burn. In some cases, small ice crystals can form if a small amount of air reaches the product. True freezer burn generally takes many months to develop. The small amount of ice crystals visible would not affect the quality or taste of the meat.

As we also explained regarding your chicken you thought was freezer burn because it was lighter in color, because our chicken is pasture-raised, natural variations in color can occur from batch to batch. This is actually very common with pasture-raised poultry and is often influenced by factors such as the birds’ diet, activity level, age, breed, and even seasonal pasture changes.

With pasture-raised poultry, more variation is generally expected because the animals are not raised in as standardized an environment as conventional production systems. Consistency is much easier in highly controlled commercial systems where feed and conditions are nearly identical year-round.

Regarding the shipping insurance, this is an option we recently introduced for customers who would like additional protection on their packages. Because we ship perishable products, carriers are often not obligated to reimburse us for losses caused by shipping delays or transit-related damage. As a small family farm, it became very costly for us to continue replacing or refunding orders in these situations, so we added the optional shipping protection to help provide customers with extra coverage if they choose it.

Regarding the joke we sent, we like to send happy notes and fun jokes related to food inside the boxes. If you’re referring to the joke you received, “What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef”, most of our customers think it’s pretty funny. Maybe you don’t get it. A cow with no legs would be on the ground, and since it’s a cow, it’s beef. We’re sorry you were offended.

We truly appreciate you giving us a try and are very sorry again that your experience did not meet your expectations. Thank you for giving us a try anyway. 🙏🏻

The ground meat from the last 2…

The ground meat from the last 2 deliveries has not tasted good. I dont know if anything has changed but if so i can barely eat the meat. Ill give it another delivery before i cancel.
