I spent an evening with old photos and…
I spent an evening with old photos and picked one of my parents from their younger days - it's always been a favorite. Seeing it animated gave me a fresh way to enjoy it. The subtle movements were the best part, yet the original still felt completely familiar. I also liked that everything happened right in the browser with no app to install. It made for a pleasant project at home, and choosing which picture to try was part of the fun. For me the real appeal was turning something already personal into a short video I could watch next to the original photograph.

I tried this on an old photo and omg it brought us to life , it was so lovely and Mary was so helpful and understanding with me not being to technical. I can’t recommend enough . It was so heartwarming to see me and my best friend who has passed actually together like we were at 16 years old moving and just being us .

My grandfathers smile …
It wasn't until I saw my grandfather smile in the animated photo that I realised how much my father looked like him. In all my grandfathers photos he looked very serious and even unhappy . Now I have seen him smile.
