I’ve been trading manually for almost 6 years now and keep going on/off because I feel like it’s boring to sit in front a screen all day. I saw the videos of Roboquant pass multiple times before I bit the bullet. I was a bit hesitant to start coding my strategy. Now looking back over the past few months they’ve added so many new features that it’s basically a no brainer to stay with them and also enjoy the benefits of the community. If you’re just starting in trading or a very season trader, it can’t hurt to give this platform a try.

Misleading to say the least
I give this 2 stars only because the support is decent, but everything else is a complete waste of time/money. They make you believe that a beginner can build and automate a profitable trading strategy, when in reality most of the members will miserably fail and achieve nothing. The video lessons inside their Whop course are recycled basic info that you can easily find elsewhere for free. And their famous AI roboquant tool is a chatgpt in disguise, full of glitches and not performing as it should. For the money they charge totally worthless. Tim and Gabriel are good chaps, but their product is not.

Waste of money
After wasting waay too much money on tokens, I got.. 0 good things from it. It somestimes messes up simple things as combining new things with the old code it gave, when I literally give it the code. I wasted way too much sushi money for this bad experience. You first have to pay the creators, you then have to pay for the AI, which is super expensive. You burn through 20$ like it's nothing . You're better off with Claude AI, as half of the experience was debugging things with Gemini and Claude. This platform HAS Claude and ChatGPT APIs, which is ironic, because the "clueless" Claude that's free for some queries will probably do more than this money pit... and it'll be free.

Paid plans ($15/mo and up) unlock additional features and include free credits. So the pricing is fully transparent — you always know what you're spending before you spend it.
We've also been continuously improving the AI models and code generation quality, particularly around maintaining context when modifying existing code — which sounds like the issue you ran into.

Ok so Roboquant is a bit of a scam as it’s not clear, it’s basally chat GPT polished up for coding, when you subscribe you get £1 AI credits, so to use the tool you have to pay for credits. Absolutely scam of a thing. I wouldn’t bother.

Honestly its not worth even going into. But what he says he is selling and what he actually sells is 2 different things. You can look into myfxbook for his real results. unless he deletes them which wont be a surprise.
You wouldnt create a pay for community and advertise it so much if you are making as much as he says on bots.

As for why we teach: we're builders. We built RoboQuant because we believe algorithmic trading should be accessible to everyone, not just developers. The academy funds continued development of both the bots and the platform. Many successful trading firms monetize through products and education — the two aren't mutually exclusive.

Bad Experience
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the results, as they did not match the promises made when I joined the teaching. I was led to believe that within 30 days, as stated, I would be able to create an EA even as a complete beginner with no prior coding experience. However, the course involved significant coding and lacked the clear, step-by-step guidance I expected. The video materials also felt unstructured, which made it difficult to follow and achieve the promised results.
As my expectations were not met, I regret to say that I withdrew from the program, unfortunately, without having my payments refunded. I am disappointed with the outcome, as it did not reflect the promises made when I enrolled. The program stated that even beginners with no coding knowledge would be able to create and successfully run an EA within 30 days, but in reality, the course requires prior trading experience and extensive coding skills, and also lacks clear, step-by-step instructions. The videos felt unstructured, and I was unable to reach the expected results within the expected time frame. For these reasons, I would like to discontinue my participation and request a refund of my payments accordingly.
By the way, the AI-created answer below is completely wrong. None of those services was provided as promised by selling me the "deal".

Our course is designed for beginners with no coding experience — the AI generates the code for you. But it does require active engagement: following the modules, asking questions when stuck, and participating in the community. Our Discord logs show minimal questions from your end, which makes it hard for us to help when we don't know where you're stuck.

SCAMMERS
This company sold a subscription to a profitable NAS bot in the financial market with the promise that if it didn't make a profit within 30 days, they would refund my money. I tested this bot and another model for GOLD for 30 days and only saw losses. I tried several times to contact support, but they only made excuses—it's nothing more than a scam!
I canceled the subscription and asked for my money back, but they refuse to refund me. I filed a claim with my bank against these scammers and attached proof of the bot losing money for four weeks, my requests for help from support, their fabricated excuses, and the bots that show profits in the backtest but never work in a real account.
Don't fall for this scam!

Our refund policy — clearly stated before purchase — explicitly notes that EA live performance is not grounds for a refund. No trading bot can guarantee profits, and we have never claimed otherwise. Backtesting and live trading will always differ due to spreads, slippage, and market conditions.
Our Tradepilot Gold EA runs on a live, independently verified Myfxbook account with 3+ years of tracked performance. A 4-week drawdown is normal in any trading system — even the most profitable strategies have losing periods. That doesn't make it a scam.
