Beautifully made gifts and decorations - always arrive on time!

There was obviously a production problem in my Winter’s Tale. The slots on the base were too narrow to fit the pieces. It was a gift so I couldn’t send it back. It took a good hour to cut them wider with a craft knife and even then they are rather precariously balanced. The result is pretty but it shouldn’t have required all this effort.

Loved the Flying Bear advent calendar! All the pictures were so unusual and fantastical - like opening windows into someone's dream...

The item was far smaller than I'd realised so very expensive for what it was by the time I'd also paid for delivery.

We bought a Roger de bord advent calendar. Lovely but we noticed that there was no slot for no 11 character so it went in no 21 and there was no character for no 21 to pop out. It was the calendar with the polar bear.

Very beautiful notebook. I purchased as a gift, but will definitely get one for myself!

Having a nightmare with the Advent House, The night before Christmas. The numbers on the House do not match the numbers on the pieces. When we look at the picture to see where pieces should be the slots do not Nowmatch up. Most should be tabs not slots! Oh dear!

Now updated. Had a great conversation with a lovely young woman from customer services. Made a few suggestions that she is going to pass on. My husband has glued the whole thing together and it looks absolutely beautiful. It looks stunning. Thank you for getting back to us so quickly and being so helpful.

For many years now, I've treated myself to a Roger la Borde advent calendar. The past three, or four, I've bought the 3D ones. This year, I chose the Polar Bear Bower. As always the artwork is superb. The animals, the colours, I absolutely loved it.
Assembly, for the first time in my experience, is nightmarish, an exercise in frustration. The cardboard also seems thinner on this calendar, which adds to the frustration. The tabs are very shallow, so assembling the bower was impossible. I tried trimming with a craft scalpel but that didn't work. I tried several other things, and ended up running a teaspoon handle through the slots, from the bottom, to widen them. There is still a problem with the card being thin and soft, which causes the corners of the tabs to fox before they can be pushed into place. And that's just the bower - I've still got 24 daily pieces to add... and I've already injured my thumb, pulling the skin away under the nail.
In the past, I've bought these 3D calendars for my granddaughters, who are now 5 and 9. They've never had a problem and still re-use theirs every year. Had I bought them the Polar Bear Bower, I think it would be in the bin by now. This is most certainly not a little 'joy every day'....

I bought a Roger la Bourde Winter's Tale Advent Calendar, seduced by the lovely wildlife artwork. Expecting more of the same, at least on an animal/wildlife theme, we excitedly opened the first door today.... A 'weird fairy' was revealed. Feeling quite disappointed and misled right now. Hoping things improve as we progress through Advent. I'll keep you updated.
