Ordered online to replace rope between posts. Being a novice, I didn't realise that the rope expanded a bit after manufacture and it wouldn't fit ithrough the holes. Spoke to Ropeservices who were very good and will replace with a smaller diameter and swap original back. Website fine and people very nice.

I have used this company many times over the years for their boxes of rope offcuts, which were always well packed and labelled with diameter and length.
Now they expect me to buy a box of rope offcuts without knowing the length and diameter of rope that I am buying. I pay my money and "tough luck" appears to be their policy now. I shall not bother buying from them ever again.

I made a last minute order that I needed within a couple of days and they made the whole journey (and panic) fantastic. They had the order dispatched as soon as they could and it was with me in 3 days. Brilliant turnover time! I highly recommend this company! The order arrived in excellent packing and the product itself was made perfectly for my occasion.

Website is easy to navigate. Descriptions of products are clear. Dispatch and delivery were prompt.
This product is such high quality. The colour is natural and the texture is lovely. Exactly what I was after. I ordered from another website previously but the colouring was dyed. I used the rope for making baskets for my home and I have had so many compliments on the rope.

A litany of errors.
Paid a high premium for next day delivery as I had read the reviews about being kept waiting for weeks. Received an email saying it was on its way that night. Sat here waiting for nine hours as I wasn’t told who the courier was or given tracking. Parcel never came. It arrived a day later via DPD, who told me they had not received it until a day later than claimed.
Everything I ordered was 6mm. Received softline and cotton in 6mm, dyneema in 8mm (unusable for the needed task) and although the reel was incorrectly labelled 6mm, the MFP was 5mm (unusable due to low break weight and medical danger caused by too thin ropes).
Add to that, the cotton I ordered was in a lovely deep pink. There were many photos on the site. What I received was a hideous baby pink and quite a tough cord. I paid a hugely premium cost for something I would have been disappointed to receive from China via Amazon. I should have just set fire to £250, it would have saved time and energy, and I now wouldn’t be sitting here with 200 metres of dangerously incorrect MFP, 16 metres of dyneema I needed urgently that isn’t fit for purpose, and needing to attempt to hand dye 220 metres of hideous cotton to try to salvage at least part of my order. Avoid these cowboys at all costs.

Edited to add: I decided to measure the lengths. MFP comes up just under 196 metres. Haven’t done the others yet, but hey - it continues to get worse.

Great hemp rope bannister, excellent service, fast delivery and kept well informed. Chose black brackets, (which look better than the photos) and attached directly to brick and plasterboard wall, without wooden mounts. Highly recommend

After two full weeks my order has still not been delivered . What companies can work with this kind of lead time ?

Excellent from first enquiry to delivery. Gave me advice so I bought the right thing then made and delivered it well within the time they said. The product is made to measure and far better than I could make from parts. Price was better than expected as well 10/10
