RTIC refuses to refund purchase
Ordered a large soft cooler two months ago. It wasn't what we wanted, so we returned it immediately. Got a confirmation that RTIC received the refund more than 8 weeks ago. However, they have refused to refund us for the cooler. So, for two months, they have had their product and our money and flat out refuse to give us our refund back. This sounds absurd, and yet it is the truth. The company claims that the refund cannot happen until the purchase is out of "processing." Tell me, what type of processing takes two months to issue a refund?! This is a shady, poorly run company and it needs to be sued out of business.
I bought three 40can soft coolers
I bought three 40can soft coolers. two as gifts and one for personal use. Also purchased two large ice packs and two small. Used cooler for first time today 7/29/2022 and am very disappointed. Took to grocery store and used to bring home frozen food. Total time items were in cooler with ice packs was 1 1/2 hours. Eerything thawed out. Does not perform as advertised. I spent over $400 for these coolers.

I preordered an ultralight cooler in hopes it would be as good as my other RTIC coolers. Well when I finally got it, it was the end of the season so I put it in my laundry room & there it sat until I went to use it. After a few months of use, I noticed the lid wasn’t holding up like the older coolers I had from them so when I reached out to order a replacement, they said they didn’t sell them & I had to replace the entire cooler since it was past the warranty date. Which I knew it was past that date & just wanted to order the lid & replace it myself. Mind you that over the years, I’ve had a lot of coolers & every one of them has replacement lids available if it’s a model they still sell & carry. This cooler was not abused & I know some won’t believe that, but it wasn’t! My older coolers from them, now those have been used abused over the years & are still working & holding up flawlessly & that’s why I preordered this style. So when I reached out to order a part to fix this I was dumbfounded that one, they kept emphasizing it was past the warranty date, which I already knew & two, they basically said I had to order a new one if I wanted a functional lid that worked as intended since mine was past the warranty date. So from the entire conversation with one of their staff members, all I got out of the conversation was if a cooler is past the warranty date, you’re out of luck & have to order a new one if something like the lid breaks. Again, I have several other coolers I’ve replaced the lids on & have never been told buy a new cooler. As long as they still made & sold the model I had, they would help me out.

Item not delivered on date it stated but the next day with excuses .
Plus they advertise lite weight and it’s not lite weight empty much less when filled , so don’t waste your money.
Customer service is not worthy of the name.
Company as a whole is terrible.
They only post positive reviews and admitted to that. The cooler I purchased leaks terribly after the 2nd use. They will not replace or refund my money after a little over a month. Do not buy. Wish I would have researched RTIC before investing in garbage. They have an F with the BBB and they honestly don't care about the quality of their products at all or their customers.

Horrible company!!!!!!! i have 8 tumblers 2-20oz then 4-30oz and 2-40oz on my 40oz the gaskets broke okay not a problem there 1.5 years old WAS I WRONG RTICdoes NOTsell replacement gaskets for the 40oz. the 30oz gaskets are $5.99 for 5 according to customer service i must buy the lids at $4.50 each and even better they are discontinuing the 40oz so parts WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE ANY LONGER ANYWAY SO I WOULD SAY THAT RTIC DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY I SAY BUY YETI

Great 65 qt hard cooler
Great 65 qt hard cooler, only issue is why they didn’t install standard hose threads on Drain Plug? Makes it impossible to drain & change water without a heavy move. If they would have put a standard hose thread it would have made life easier to adapt an extension hose with a shut off valve to run to a drain port on boats, instead of flooding my cockpit with water!
RTIC Zipper repair
I bought my 30 soft side in 2016 when they were doing their initial entry into the market (kickstart) so I paid my money and waited finally it came. Pretty nice and worked good too had to lube the zipper. Never tested it as just wanted it to keep things cool for a couple of hours. Well used it off and on for a couple years and the zipper broke I mean the metal part in half. So I called RTIC and low and behold the 7 year warranty was only for the hard side coolers. Guess what they don’t even have a repair center in th USA nor do they have parts to fix their coolers. Was told to take it to a furniture store to have it worked on! Well let’s say how disappointed I am, not going to bad mouth them but I have a 50 yr old Coleman cooler that still works, just fine, very sad!

What a joke of a company. Two separate companies for online sales and customization. Take forever to respond. Never the same person responding and do not honor delivery on their quotes even though it is there fault for taking so long.

Yes there are a lot cheaper than your other name brands and all I do is drink cold beverages I bought the 20 oz in a 12 oz and they do not keep drinks cold but for a few hours it's nothing like they explained in the product description. I would definitely save up the money spend the extra and get a good quality name brand.

RTIC great quality for a fair price
RTIC great quality for a fair price. RTIC product are nearly half as much compared to competitors but equal quality. I own 3 different cups the 30oz tumbler, 16oz cup, and the coffee mug. All retain heat and cold as good as competitors. The lids are universal, durable, and hold a great seal. I also have two cooler bags. Again they insulate cold and hot items great. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars) is the zipper can sometimes get stuck but for the price compared to other named brands, this is something ill gladly deal with.
