Update: RubyChips ultimately paid the $700 redemption, but the verification process was unnecessarily difficult
I want to update my original review because RubyChips has now successfully deposited my $700 redemption.
I appreciate that the matter was ultimately resolved. However, the verification process leading up to that resolution was far more difficult and inconsistent than it should have been.
I submitted extensive documentation, including transaction screenshots, identification, Apple Card/Apple Cash documentation, card photos, a selfie holding my debit card, and account documentation. During the process, I received multiple responses that appeared to repeat generic verification requirements without addressing what I had already submitted.
I also received conflicting information from RubyChips. At one point I was told in writing that I did not need to make a purchase with the debit card I wanted to use for redemption. RubyChips later publicly stated on Trustpilot that their policy required that card to have been used for purchases.
After multiple emails, requests for escalation, and additional documentation, the $700 was finally deposited.
So the outcome was ultimately positive, and I want to be fair about that. RubyChips did pay the redemption in full.
My concern remains with the support and verification process. Customers should receive clear, consistent requirements from the beginning, and when documentation is insufficient, support should explain exactly what is missing rather than sending repetitive responses.
Final outcome: $700 redemption received.
I hope RubyChips improves the consistency of its compliance and support communication so other customers do not have to go through the same process.

We have checked with our compliance team and want to explain the situation transparently. The card you are requesting to cashout to has not been previously used or registered in our system. Unfortunately our compliance policy requires that withdrawals are processed to a verified payment method that has been used for purchases on the platform - this is a standard security requirement to confirm ownership and prevent unauthorized transactions.
To move forward you have two options - you can either submit additional documentation confirming ownership of the new card and make a purchase with it to verify it in our system, or alternatively process the cashout to the card originally used for your purchase which is already verified on our end. 👑
We understand this is not the answer you were hoping for and we are genuinely sorry for the confusion and lack of clear communication from our team throughout this process - that is something we are addressing internally.

Deliberately complicated verification and non existent customer service
Update to their response: I emailed customer support July 21. It is now July 28 and I still have not received a response.
They must have my account confused with someone else or there blatantly lying………….
Doesn’t pay out and ZERO customer service. They will email you to tell you they aren’t paying you and then stop communicating.
I fully verified my profile using the standard methods. Attempted to cash out and received an email requiring extensive “selfie” style pictures. Holding different cards in a variety of poses and covering certain numbers while holding the cards next to your face.
I only have 2 hands and I don’t have an assistant who can help me choreograph these complicated poses.
There is legitimate verification process which I’m sure most of us are familiar with……and then there’s scam verification done to hinder legitimate redemptions.
I emailed customer support over a week ago and they just never responded. Why would they?? They have my money and it’s not in their interest to facilitate my legitimate redemption lol.
This is very similar “ feel to cashoomo if your familiar with that disaster of a site.
Do not deposit here you will not get paid
