They cancelled my order, don't waste your time.

They're expensive and don't rush to deliver your pre-orders

Avoid at all “costs”. Your money is gonna be used as a temporary loan to pay off the suppliers and later on they will cancel whenever they feel like. Excuses after excuses, customer service just keep sending same email over and over(automated).They are 200% scalpers changing prices and cancelling orders on their favor all time. Had to call the bank today as it's been 25 days and still no refund.Wish i have read the reviews before.Do not say i did not warn you.

Can't stress enough just how good Rules of Play are at their niche, real knowledgeable, real friendly staff, just the best.

This shop has really bad customer services. I purchased a Pokemon product and then found another retailer with the same product but £15 cheaper. I emailed the company 10 minutes after placing this order to ask for a refund, my response was none existent. No acknowledgment, nothing and it’s been 3 working days. Prices are high and customer service non existent - BEWARE!

Avoid these clowns at all “costs”. They’ll use your money as a temporary loan then cancel whenever they feel like it (pre orders to be specific). Not sure how they’re still running but hopefully not any bloody longer.

Put up more far more stock than they actually had for sale and then withheld refunds to all customers until ‘the issue was sorted’

Highly recommended smaller store. I made a pre-order with this shop and a couple of months later my plans had changed, I asked for a refund and it was processed within a couple of hours. Every interaction I've had with them has been great.

Poor service. Accepted order and payment and then cancelled due to lack of stock. That's not how you run a business. Avoid.

4 emails sent to company and totally ignored! I paid for postage when ordering an item and had to pay for postage again as the company dis not pay postage! Asked for refund 4 times, with photo evidence sent and not even an acknowledgment. Disgusting, first time using and won’t use again.

Initially had a little bit of an issue with receiving a different item from the one described (picture and description showed a multipack booster Brick, but it was actually just for 1 pack), but when I phoned and explained the situation they were happy to compensate me. The guy on the phone was very friendly, partial refund was very prompt, I will definitely order from these again!

There isn't any point of pre-ordering from this business because they are most likely going to cancel. I have made multiple pre-orders with them over time and gave them the benefit of the doubt but each time it has been cancelled with some sort of excuse.

Ordered Sekigahara. Good deal. Arrived well within time. Will use again.

Despite some negative reviews I was very pleased with preorder of Earth from them a short while ago and thought I should add this. Customer services were very polite and helpful on calling them and game arrived in good time.

Terrible service. Preorder of a game at a discounted price. They then inform me they don't have enough stock to fulfil the order. Cancelled and refunded. Shows up on website the next day in stock at full price. Just blatantly lied to me

Pre ordered 2 Dragon Ball Super CG Collector’s Booster Box (B20-C): Power Absorbed weeks ago for £80. Order was cancelled to day and refund sent with the excuse of supplier not able to send product. They have now marked up the price to £200 each. First time buying from these guys and will not be in the future. Poor service just money greedy

Easy ordering, good price for the game I wanted and quickly despatched. Delivery severely delayed due to postal strike so worth checking delivery options, but this not the fault of Rules of Play. Would recommend.

Great little shop. Very helpful and friendly staff.

However, their prices aren't competitive at all. Online or in store. There are many other local board game shops online that sell the same games for sometimes £10-15 less. Hard to justify spending the extra.

I visited this shop today whilst Christmas shopping and I certainly will NOT be returning. I was discriminated against by the staff member for not wearing a face covering. As I explained to the extremely rude individual, I have a medical exemption which means due to a personal medical reason, I'm not able to wear a face covering. This person did not care, was rude, caused distress and thought it was perfectly fine to exclude me from the shop. He was also in breach of the Equalities Act 2010 and Data Protection.

Would this be acceptable if it was based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation? If not, why acceptable on basis of disability and medical background. Discrimination is Discrimination, and this shop does NOT like people with Disabilities. AVOID!!!!

Amazing little shop in Cardiff with very friendly and helpful staff.
On a day out in Cardiff this shop was recommended by some friends and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of board games, player hand books and trading card games they had in stock!
Everything is fair priced and well stocked and the games goblin working there was very helpful and cheerful. Next time I venture into Cardiff I'll always be sure to pop into this friendly store to get my Pokémon card fix.

I'd also ignore most of the bad reviews as they're (or as it seems to be) scalping c**ts and got caught out and are then trying to bully a small business.
