A great day. Sunny. Organised. A wonderful atmosphere. Lovely surroundings and track.

Purchased a gift card for a friend’s birthday. Followed the ordering process as instructed (entered friend’s email address as recipient) - they didn’t receive anything. All I got was a confirmation email with no gift card details in sight. Ordering process said that gift amount would be linked to their email address, but apparently not. When I emailed RunThrough, they replied with a generic looking gift card code, but this isn’t what their website suggests. I’ve just sent a third email trying to clarify how my friend will receive their gift card balance. Altogether a very poor booking experience and a waste of my time and money.

It was well organised, friendly (even to a first-timer) and easy to get started with. I had a customer service query beforehand that was dealt with by email quickly and helpfully.

Excellent organised and welcoming races and events for all abilities. Affordable and variety of locations to pick from. Super friendly marshals and the most beautiful medal designs.

Did my first my half marathon with runthrough November 2.5 years ago and never looked back. From the chase the moon 5k with our run crew to their women only series… literally all needs considered.

Highly recommend runthrough for all your running/races needs 5/5!

It's great to test yourself against the competition at all levels. The staff/volunteers/locals were exceptional as always. It's a wonderful location, not only for the run but also to go and visit.

Really enjoyed doing the Jubilee Bridge 10k on Sunday with Run Through Events. The whole event was so well organised from start to finish. Forgot to bring my tag to label my jacket I didn’t want to take in the end and the guy at baggage drop off was so helpful and put my number on it for me so it could be kept safe there with them. Lots of volunteers along the course cheering everyone on, route mapped out perfect then a lovely selection of goodies at the finish line along with a fab medal, can’t wait to do my next event now with run through events

Took part in the Newmarket Half Marathon. Management of the onsite carparking was awful (this is a site used to handling lots of cars) resulting in a crazy wait to get on site. Despite the issues they did nothing to delay the start of the race. Then once on site signage to things like race collection, baggage drop etc. was also really poor. Post race, not a single concession open to grab a cup of tea/ice cream etc. Not at all what I expected from such a large event organisation. The worst bit - not a single acknowledgment or apology for the issues. Its a real shame because the course its self was great.

Really well organised event with the chance to run over the iconic Silver Jubilee bridge twice with full road closures in place. Well marshalled and extremely slick as you come to expect from RunThrough events. I usually do a few every year including Run Alton Towers and Macclesfield Half, but this is one of my favourite 10k’s. Thanks for an amazing day with a friendly team.

I have run many RunThrough events since 2021. I have been happy in all my races so far, everything has been well organised.

One of the recent ones was the Surrey Half Marathon in March 2026. A friend of mine encouraged me to run in this race. I travelled from London to Woking Park. Even though I was there at the very last minute, I didn't have any issues collecting my race kit. The staff was very friendly (as always). In terms of the water stations, everything was sufficient. In the end, I got the HM Personal Best, although I wasn't expecting it :) As soon as I finished, I told all my friends that they should run in the Surrey Half next year. Maybe I will run too :)

Superb organisation, from start to finish. Excellent communication throughout the event, and via email beforehand.

Always great events, and the volunteers are superb. Signage is always easy to follow and plenty of event toilets.

Plenty of variety of events and high quality field, if you are chasing a pb.

Not the first event I've been to and definitely won't be the last.

I love these events! So well run and always the best medal! The staff are amazing! Especially Emma who never stops being a friendly face there! Would highly recommend to anyone! Just for vibes or for a PB as most of the courses are super super flat!

Been attending their events since 2009 and cannot fault them at all. I have made loads of wonderful friends over the years through our mutual love of running. No matter what your ability you are made to feel welcome and every runner is encouraged. Here is to many more miles with Runthrough!

Great event very well run with lots of marshall's at the right places for a hm, lots of goodies at the end well needed, a fantastic course very challenging but very good really enjoyed it one of my favourite hm.
The one downside was getting into the car park last mile took half an hour but we arrived early so got in plenty of time.

I’ve only done one RunThrough event, and I have mixed feelings about it. I recently ran the Girona 50km (which was closer to 56km!). The course was stunning, the aid station volunteers were friendly, the atmosphere was good and the event was reasonably well organised, but I do have a few comments.

My first concern relates to the mandatory kit. I was rather condescendingly told to “use my initiative” when asking about it. Surely, mandatory kit is either mandatory or it isn’t!

The kit list stated that 50km runners needed to carry 1L of liquid. However, when the hot weather kit was activated, it said additional water capacity was required for all distances. Did this mean 50km runners needed to carry more than 1L capacity? It wasn’t clear. On race morning, I asked for clarification and was told that “as long as you have 500ml, you’ll be fine,” which contradicted the published kit list.

The list also required a waterproof jacket with taped seams. Looking around, it seemed that very few runners were carrying one, so I asked whether it was really necessary given the boiling hot, sunny weather. This was when I was told, in a rather patronising tone, to “use my initiative.” If an item is listed as mandatory, it’s reasonable to assume it is required. Should runners be deciding for themselves which mandatory items matter and which do not? In other ultras I’ve completed, that approach would have resulted in disqualification.

We were told there would be a kit check on arrival and possible spot checks during the race, but neither happened. The same person told me they would at least be checking water capacity, but that didn’t happen either. My impression was that the mandatory kit requirements were more of a box-ticking exercise than something the organisers intended to enforce. To add to the confusion, the kit list on the website appeared to change in the lead-up to the event, meaning some items I had purchased specifically for the race were ultimately unnecessary.

My second comment concerns the signage. Overall, it was good and the route was generally well marked. However, at one point the course crossed over itself and the signage became confusing.

Unfortunately, a few of us followed a 50km sign that was intended for a later section of the race. I accept that I should have paid closer attention to my GPS, that's my fault entirely, but because we were still on part of the official course, there were still flags present and my watch still believed we were on the right route. Perhaps the signs could have been a little clearer at that particular point.

Overall, I enjoyed the race and the course itself was excellent. However, there were a few discrepancies between what was communicated beforehand and what actually happened on the day. As a result, while I wouldn’t rule out another RunThrough event, this experience has left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth.

What an amazing event and organisation, everyone involved was so friendly easy to follow instruction from the minute I signed up to the event details on the day - route was lovely and so nice to see water provided on the route for us 5k runners would definitely recommend run through and this event for future

I love going to runthrough events and have been running their events for a number of years now. Media city is probably my fave event.
I particularly like media city as there is a 5k option. I would like to see more 5k events around.

I’ve completed a few RunThrough events. Most recently the Newmarket Half Marathon. Always well organised events, enthusiastic marshals and great medals. Bring on the next one…
