I listed with RVTrader and not once heard from them if anyone looked at my trailer. They kept emails coming about extra packages to get more coverage at a cost. I felt my payment was not worth the money.

Absolute worst tool I have ever used in my life. Tons of fake ads, sellers playing games & wasting time, not actually trying to sell. Creepy oldish guys who look up your socials, because RV Trader expects you to use your name, otherwise they spam you. Most of the ads never respond, and if they do sell something, the ad is still up for months. The website is just absolutely dated, and needs to be refreshed. When you call CS, they hire 16-22 year old's with low emotional regulation and skills. I have to hire a lawyer, because they give and sell my personal info to sellers, and there is no sense of privacy, safety or protections. They love to block your email correspondence. Sellers, FB Marketplace is FREE. You are better off avoiding this like the plague! I hope RV Trader bankrupts for their poor experiences.

We have purchased four (4) Winnebago’s from Lichtsinn RV in Forrest City, Iowa. On our fourth purchase we noticed a dramatic decrease and cheapening of the service provided and an overall lack of concern for the customer. We do understand that since our last purchase, Lichtsinn RV has been sold and typically with such sales the new buyer looks to increase profit margins.

Once we arrived at Lichtsinn RV, it felt like we were a part of a movie set, everybody had a script. We were told to take our time, but they also pushed us to fit into their schedule, going from one individual to another, with the bottom line getting us to pay for the vehicle before it was even ready to be sold. If we had a question for one member, and it wasn’t in their department, or did anything to alter the schedule, we could tell that it upset their system.

We were presented with a Winnebago Ekko that had scratches on the front windscreen; a cracked refrigerator door; wall paper that was not attached to the wall; the amber lens on the front running light covered with electrical tape that fell off; the gripper tape on the retractable stairs coming unglued, and windows that had not been cleaned. The scratched windscreen became a football being between tossed between Winnebago, Mercedes and Lichtsinn RV and that none of them wanted to take responsibility for it. The root of the problem was that the detail work by both Winnebago and Lichtsinn RV was so terrible that nobody knew what happened when.

When we purchased the Ekko we were asked for a $5,000 deposit from the sales person and told that it was going toward having the Ekko detailed and cleaned before we arrived. We were basically lied to as the detailing and cleaning did not happen. Apparently the profit margin has been cut so badly, that it took us two days for them to tell us how to get a little $25 bottle of touchup paint, that we had to pay for.

Lichtsinn RV promotes themself as being so close to the factory that they can take care of a lot of things, but when it gets right down to it, they just wanted to get the Ekko out the door and put the responsibility of making repairs on the new owner's local dealer. Yes, there is a warranty, but none of the local dealers want to handle problems that should have been handled by Lichtsinn RV. As a result, we will end up paying $1,000 for a new windscreen, plus take a day of our time to have issues taken care of that should have been resolved had Lichtsinn RV actually detailed the Ekko before we arrived.

I will never use this site again.

I was contacted by who knows what or who and I think they were all scammers. In fact, RV trader customer service confirmed this about one of the inquiries. I spent more than $130 for a listing that has gone nowhere.

I've now had to list on multiple other sites which were either free or cost very little to list on.

RV trader is not what it once was years ago.

The site is also filled with pro dealers instead of individuals that are trying to sell their 1 RV.

Do not waste your money!

Hundreds of views with 0 serious inquiries. The ONLY, and I mean only, people that I spoke with actually inquired about a different camper. These people said that this keeps happening to them so to drum up activity, RV Trader must be sending like-kind buyers to rv sellers that they didn't inquire about... everyone, buyers and sellers alike are getting very frustrated. All I have to say is use some other channel to sell your camper because this is a complete waste of money. PS. I had the highest / most expensive plan and still 0 inquiries.

My family found a motorhome on RV Trader and wired $25,000 to purchase it. The RV was never delivered, and communication eventually stopped. After investigating, we learned the physical dealership had been closed for a significant period and the building had been demolished, despite an active dealer profile and listings remaining online.

We have reported this to our bank, local law enforcement, the FBI IC3, the FTC, the Florida Attorney General, and RV Trader. I urge RV Trader to thoroughly investigate dealer accounts, verify that dealerships are actively operating, and promptly remove listings that may put buyers at risk.

If you are buying an RV online, do not rely solely on an online dealer profile. Independently verify the dealership, confirm the physical location is still operating, verify the dealer license, and inspect the RV before sending any money.

I hope RV Trader strengthens its verification process so other families do not experience what ours has.

Don't waste your money! I spent over $300 to get an exclusive ad and received one inquiry about my RV. I had it listed below market value and it was in very good shape. Use Facebook Marketplace it's free and I got about 50 times more responses from that that I did from this lackluster company. I sent them three emails regarding this topic and never heard back from any of them. So not only is it not a great website but forget getting a response from them.

RVtrader responded to this review and asked me to call them so I did. I was told someone would get ahold of me and that was well over 10 days. They are unresponsive and just want your $$! Don't give it to them.

What a rip-off. You won't get exposure unless you pay more and more for exposure. Don't waste your money with RV Trader.

RV Trader is withholding leads. I posted my RV for sale and had my wife test it out by sending a message so we could see how it works and I never received the inquiry... strange I thought, so I had my son and daughter do the same and I never received their inquiries... so that's 3 lead inquiries that were never sent to me, I can't imagine how many others Im missing out on. Either their system is broken or they are purposely withholding leads and using them for other purposes... This site is a SCAM and I will be disputing this with American Express! Shame on you RV TRADER!

Heed the warnings people. Expensive, mostly spam inquiries, ineffective and no customer service. Fool me once...

I would never ever suggest to use this site to list your RV/Motorhome it was a total rip off and I got Zero response from my listing of my beautiful Motorhome. You cant speak to anyone or its nearly impossible and the amount of money to advertise for a few months is terrible to add insult to injury! Save yourself dont advertise with this scam of a Site!NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL!

I would never recommend using this site to list your RV or motorhome.

Extremely poor customer service. I contacted requesting assistance to edit my listing multiple times with no response. The options for listing your vehicle are selected from a drop down list and there's is no way to customize your listing. My listing returned zero interest because it was listed as 'other' with no way to change this and no assistance from rvtrader. I paid full price for the listing and never did get anything out of it. Find a different vendor to list your items.

I am unable to view my photos when I log into my account. They say it’s a little glitch, give it a few days they know about it. Or they said, I could delete my app and reinstall it and that might fix it. They also insert ads into the middle of my pictures. They say it’s in their terms of service. So I am paying them to run ad in the middle of my ad that I am paying for. Never again.

I've been on this site for 59 days as of this posting. My listing is a very nice 40' class A diesel pusher. The listing costs nearly $500 and is good through September. I've had 74 views and no interest.
The site is bloted. It's like searching for a snowflake in a snowstorm. There is little value for the amount of the subscription.

As I wasn't prepared to face the hassles of selling my van privately I was very happy with the service I received from OZ RV recently. From the date of inspection and appraisal to the date the van was sold and instant payment made to me I would recommend them for anyone wishing to sell a van.

I entered into a contract with RV trader 2 months ago and did not receive a single legit inquiry on a attractively priced listing. I received two emails from an obvious farmed bogus interested party twice each time after I changed my listing address. RVtrader told me that the person Miranda was put on block but I believe that she is an inside promoter hire to make it appear that my listing is effective, because she appeared again after I changed my address. The search engine for the system is flawed and i could not even find my own listing on the system until I brought it to their admins attention. I asked for my money back but they said no you are under contract so I looking to cancel through my credit card. I basically threw away $ 200 for a farming service. I want my money back.

Communication with RVtrader is terrible. Pretty much non existent as I got zero responses to my tickets submitted. I went months without a single hit on my ad. Then before it expired I had several show up in my messages from the beginning! But I did not see them. Never got a single email from rvtrader.com during the run of my ad. And because I had given up, my ad expired and I can no longer reach out to those potential buyers. I paid the highest price to get the most exposure ~$400 for the 4 month ad. Very VERY disappointed in this site. Would never recommend to anyone hoping to sell an RV. Heck, even as a buyer because those people that contacted me never got a response either. Ugh. So much time wasted. And money!

If i could give this company 0 stars, I would. The customer service and the filtering of "buyers" is a joke. You get spam calls and texts with no real legitimate interest. I requested to cancel my account within days of signing up because it was all spam interest, they do not give you legitimate buyer leads. It took OVER A MONTH for them to respond to a simple email. They have no customer service so buyer beware, it will wast $200 of you money placing your ad with this poorly ran business.
