I did not receive my initial order and reached out to the Ryefield Books customer service. The initial shipment seemed to have been lost, so my order was shipped again. This time I received tracking information for my shipment to France. My book was delivered in a few days in good condition. I recommend this website, thank you.

Very easy to make an order and to pay on the website. I got the payment confirmation email just after I payed, but no order confirmation email. The customer service was operational, they answered me almost immediately when I had emailed them to get the update on my order.
My articles are very well packed.

Ordered a rare currently out of print book which had to come from U.S.A so I did have to wait however not as long as I had expected. As well as the fees being very reasonable and top notch customer service who answered my questions fairly promptly and courteously.

Found two books I'd been looking for that weren't in stock other places, good price etc. Unfortunately they didnt arrive courtesy of Royal Mail. I contacted Ryefield who immediately replied to my email, and reordered for me. Their customer service was great, can't fault, thankyou Ryefield.

The customer service provided by Denise and the team at Ryefield Books was exceptional. The original hard to find book was lost by the courier and they managed to re order and deliver very quickly which put me in my wife's good books so I thank them for that added bonus. Updated: so items arrived earlier than the 2 weeks with a tracking number provided also. Much appreciated for the prompt service and would be happy to use again!

Ordered 2 items on 28th Dec, messaged on 6/7th to confirm if all was OK as I had no receipt of dispatch and was not sure of their chosen delivery (courier/royal mail etc). I received a very quick reply saying items had been dispatched 'promptly' and confirming my details. I did not get email for another week due to technical issues, but I responded on 13th Jan to confirm details correct and that items still had not arrived (plenty of time for Xmas/Newyear backlog to have mostly resolved).
Another response came through quickly to say it looks like they've been lost in post and due to being out of stock, I can either be refunded or wait until stock arrives in around 2 weeks.
As I'm in no hurry, I've opted to wait but as per other reviews, some form of tracking would be beneficial or at least confirmations of dispatch so customer has an idea when to expect items.

I will update in 2 weeks if I get the items. At the very least customer service has been very fast. Obviously I can't say whether choosing a refund would have been quick buy I'd like to think it would have been.

I do not recommend ordering from them. I ordered a colouring book for my daughter just before the new year hit and received a receipt and the receipt was all i received in three weeks. I contacted the company who assured me that everything was alright and my parcel would be here soon however the following day messaged to tell me that my parcel had been lost in transit and they had only just been alerted about it. Eventually, i did receive my parcel but four weeks after ordering it. If you are looking for a company with fast and trusted delivery, DO NOT use this company.

excellent, range, value for money and shipping

I ordered 2 books as Xmas presents on 18th Dec. This was the last day that Royal Mail would guarantee 2nd class delivery and the I ordered before the time that the store advised orders should be received for same-day despatch. Its now 30th Dec and I'm still waiting for delivery. I didn't receive a despatch email and messaged them yesterday asking for a refund to be processed. They messaged advising that they shipped the item promptly but didn't provide a date. I thought I would place this order with a British company who hopefully pay taxes but have learnt a lesson. I will just use Amazon in future who have always delivered within days of an order in my experience.

I emailed as I had no update regarding my order after a few days, they explained that one of the four books was out of stock so they were waiting to hear from the distributer before sending. I explained I was concerned that they would not arrive before xmas. So they sent the three books out first, then the last one once they heard from
the distributor - all before xmas. I could not find that fourth book anywhere else so i was very pleased. Very good customer service.
