Das war von A bis Z einfach nur großartig!
Ich habe noch nie zuvor irgendwo eine derart engagierte, empathische und gleichzeitig aber auch absolut unaufdringliche Beratung, Planung und anschließend Betreuung bei einer Reise erlebt. Da möchte ich auch unbedingt Freda namentlich erwähnen. Zeitweise war es, als würde sie später persönlich an unserer Reise teilnehmen. Und obwohl oder gerade weil ich diese Reise schon kurz nach Beginn aus gesundheitlichen Gründen vorzeitig abbrechen musste, fällt diese Bewertung so überaus positiv aus. Denn gerade in diesem Fall hat sich gezeigt, wie toll auch die Zusammenarbeit mit Bushways funktioniert. Ich habe mich zu jedem Zeitpunkt perfekt betreut gefühlt.
Über die Leopard Safari kann ich auch nur positiv berichten, auch wenn ich das meiste nur aus den Erzählungen meines Sohnes erfahren habe, der die Safari später zum Glück fortsetzen konnte.
Also, wenn wieder Safari, dann auf jeden Fall wieder mit Safarifrank!

When I reached out I knew I wanted some type of safari and that’s about all. I wasn’t sure if I wanted gorillas, the great migration, Botswana or a combination with a one of three beach locations. Safari Frank was amazing through the entire process and ultimately sent us on the most amazing trip!

Die ganze Reise war perfekt geplant und während des Aufenthaltes wurde von deutschsprachigen Partnern vorort angefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. War insbesondere beruhigend, weil man sich gut aufgehoben fühlte, wenn z.B. Flug mit der FedAir geändert werden müsste, wenn das Wetter zu schlecht für den Flug ist.
Safari Frank ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

My First Trip to Africa
A solo trek into the heart of Botswana - wasn't just a vacation; it was a soul-stirring awakening. From the second my small plane touched down on a dusty airstrip in the Okavango Delta, the world turned into a series of "wow" moments.
One of my first encounters was with a true survivor: a cheetah with a broken lower jaw. Watching this predator thrive against all odds, having just taken down an impala, was a powerful lesson in raw resilience. My guide, MP, a bushman and master tracker, led us deep into the conservation area, uncovering lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. We didn't just watch nature; we lived it. At one point, MP floored the accelerator, racing us across the terrain to witness a wild dog pack on a hunt. It was brutal, visceral, and profoundly real; the circle of life unfolding in real-time.
In the Delta, I checked off the Big Five, but the magic didn't stop at sunset. Staying "under canvas" at Nxabega, I was completely immersed in the wild. One night, the air was thick with the calls of hippos and roars of lions; the next, it sounded like an elephant was chasing a hyena right past my tent! Even the food was an adventure. Chef Killer turned bush cooking into an art form, and getting to jump into the kitchen to learn his secrets was a highlight I’ll never forget.
From there, I took to the skies again, hopping over to the Savute Marsh. I found myself surrounded by baby cheetahs, towering giraffes, and massive buffaloes, though the famous elephant herds remained a mystery this time.
Deception Valley Lodge in the Kalahari Desert was my last safari destination. This private reserve is a sanctuary for conservation and healing. It was here that I saw the rare, endangered brown hyena. It had survived a brutal attack just weeks prior, its face and body still etched with battle scars. Seeing it healing and feeling the collective joy of the lodge staff at its recovery, was the perfect end to my life-changing journey.

Ich hatte eine tolle Erfahrung mit Safari Frank! Ich wurde von Anfang an umfassend beraten und habe mich sehr aufgehoben gefühlt! Sabrina hat meine vielen Rückfragen immer ausführlich beantwortet und stand mir jederzeit zur Seite, danke! Ich habe den 55 Tage Field Guide Course gemacht und hatte eine sehr prägende und intensive Zeit und würde den Kurs jederzeit wieder machen, danke!

We had an incredible safari experience. We were so fortunate to have an exceptional experience all around at both lodges and our Cape Town accommodation. The guides and trackers at both lodges were warm, friendly, intelligent and knowledgeable. We are filled with many stories about the animal kingdom in Africa and the circle of life. Safari Frank took care of all of made all of our reservations and everything we did came out perfectly. They also helped us to feel comfortable and confident the whole way. We will be back again someday!

Sehr tolle und zügige Planung unserer Flitterwochen in Südafrika, alle Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Für uns wurden ganz wunderbare Unterkünfte rausgesucht - die Reise wird uns in toller Erinnerung bleiben!
Die Kommunikation war sehr sympathisch und Safari Frank stand uns während der Planung, kurz vor der Reise und auch währenddessen immer zur Verfügung. Der Buchungs- und Bezahlprozess war unkompliziert.

Es hat alles hervorragend geklappt und ich bin sehr zufrieden, mich für Safari Frank entschieden zu haben!

Safari Frank (SF) was recommended to us by our neighbors, and we are so glad they helped us plan our first-ever African safari vacation. We stayed 4 nights in Capetown (Cape Grace), 4 nights in Sabi Sands (Londolozi), and 2 nights at Victoria Falls (Vic Falls River Lodge). I would like to commend the SF team on three things, among others:

1) Guidance on pacing of stay; the number of nights they recommended at each place was just right. This is something we could very easily have got wrong, and were going back and forth about, and finally just trusted them on - and that was the right call.

2) Guidance on properties and tours - while we knew we wanted to do the safari at Londolozi based on recommendations from friends, their advice on specific camps at Londolozi, the other properties, the tours in Cape Town, restaurants, etc. was invaluable.

3) Transparency into pricing and responsiveness to questions and requests. They took the time to respond to multiple questions from our end as first-time safari goers, put in the effort to earn our trust, and will have our business going forward.

In summary, Nicolette, Leandra, and Frank were great! They bring a winning combination of expertise in and passion for this sort of travel, honesty, and commitment to customer service. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

To put it plain and simple, i had the best time. I would absolutely recommend Safari Frank for every Africa trip, the recommendation was great, the organisation of the entire trip and also the communication with the team was top-notch!

I don't even know where to start! Absolutely taken back by the services provided by Safari Frank and Nomad. We booked for our honeymoon, which entailed a 16 day honeymoon Safari with Tanzania including Zanzibar. We had the all inclusive option which made things so much easier. We stayed in Arusha for a night before setting off to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar.

I will start with the initial contact and communication.
My first point of contact was with Antoinette. She was so kind, engaged and interested with our desires for this trip, her replies were prompt and she captured everything within our itinerary beautifully. It was exactly what we wanted.
The itinerary comes with a complete write up of each area you're going, the accomodation, the activities and the distinguishing sites in those areas. It also comes with visuals so you can practically imagine you're there. To make things even easier they have their own app which is easily accessed online and offline versions just incase. It has all of your info included as well such as important documents, flights, day by day itinerary and useful tips for health, packing and entry requirements.

Next, Leandra was included to help facilitate our travels and be another point of contact for us. She was also so beautiful, kind and responded to my million questions. Cannot thank them both enough for the seamless trip they had planned, everything was in place for us the entire time. We did not have to lift a finger, it was comforting to know they had it under control.

All of the accomodation chosen was absolutely amazing, we cannot fault them in any way. The staff, the rooms, the experiences, the food, it was all just top notch.
We had someone to collect us from airport on arrival, and then from there we had our amazing guides throughout the safari.
We had the hot air balloon experience in Serengeti, this was Serengeti Balloon Safari's. We were also lucky enough to go during the great Wildebeest Migration. It was all an unforgettable experience.

Finally, the company that Safari Frank use for guides and transport throughout Tanzania were an obvious standout throughout our trip. Nomad, who assisted with booking our guides and flights, as well as transport. They were unmatched. We had Rem for Tarangire and then Anaele for Serengeti and Ngorongoro, I have no words for how incredible they were. Such organised, knowledgable, kind, experienced and beautiful humans. We were so so sad when it was time to leave them. The effort they put into their work to ensure you have the best experience was so obvious. We cannot recommend them enough.

Our last stop was Zanzibar and wow, ending our hectic safari with a relaxing beach club resort was exactly what we needed. Breezes beach club was stunning, the landscapes, the rooms and the staff was incredible.

Thank you times a thousand Safari Frank for the best honeymoon and experience of our lives, we will never forget it xx
