Palazzo Salapolis is an exceptional place in the very heart of historic Gallipoli. The location is fantastic – beautiful old streets, plenty of restaurants and small shops, with the sea and beach just a few minutes’ walk away. Our Deluxe apartment was very spacious, clean, atmospheric and well equipped. A huge advantage is the private rooftop terrace with a covered area, table, chairs and loungers – perfect for breakfast or relaxing in the evening.
Scott deserves a special mention – he is incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful. He is very attentive, replies quickly to messages and genuinely cares about making sure his guests feel comfortable. From the very beginning, we felt that we could rely on him.
We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. We highly recommend Palazzo Salapolis to anyone looking for an authentic and beautiful place right in the heart of old Gallipoli.

Great spot for a stop in Gallipoli! Perfect location in the historic center and convenient to shopping, food and the sea! Our room was large and beautifully appointed including A/C. The owner/host Scott was like having a perfect concierge on site. Nice breakfast, outdoor terraces and lovely staff!

Everything was exceptional, from the location to the beauty of the rooms, everything was handcrafted and the building is very well maintained. Breakfast is excellent and includes so many options. The service was top notch. The location is just superb, next to everything, the beach, the shops, the restaurants. The rooms are large and comfortable and can accommodate families easily, not to mention that everything inside is like a work of art and the pictures don't do it justice. The amazing hospitality from Scott and the staff is worth mentioning as it was impeccable. I could not recommend it more! There is no other place to consider in Gallipoli in my opinion.

En arrivant devant l’immense grille de la demeure, avec vue sur le patio intérieur, on est tout de suite transporté par l’atmosphère… Et en y pénétrant, on est habité par les lieux… ! on ne peut s’empêcher de plonger dans le passé en imaginant toute l’histoire de ce petit palais. La décoration est un riche mélange de baroque, moderne et de créations originales. Je regrette déjà le somptueux carrelage de l’appartement que nous occupions et la hauteur de plafond! La literie est parfaite, l’accès à la terrasse est top, et le seul bémol auquel personne ne peut rien ce sont les cloches de l’église voisine qui sonnent de façon anarchique et sans comprendre l’heure qu’il est! Mais ça fait partie de l’histoire.
Merci à Scott et ses amis pour l’accueil et la gentillesse, nous avons passé 4 jours hors du temps.
C’était une escapade entre amies, mais je reviendrai avec un immense plaisir, avec mon mari pour un we romantique, au palazzo Salapolis!

What a great place to stay in the heart of the Old Town of Gallipoli. Our rooms and the entire hotel were beautifully designed and decorated. The owner Scott was wonderful, he gave us great recommendations and communicated very well. He was always available if we needed anything. We had five people and stayed in the white apartment which had a lovely private patio with a covered area that we took advantage of during a rare rainy day. A delicious breakfast was provided with fresh fruits and juices, eggs and various local pastries. Also, made to order cappuccinos and espressos. Highly recommend.

A very good address for rest beach and good time to share

The absolute most beautiful place you can imagine to stay. We had 13 nights in this gem in the middle of Gallipoli. Scott and his team were exceptionally nice, and made us feel at home straight away. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast included in our stay. An extra plus was the lovely roof terrace with sun all day.

Fantastic interior – artistic and beautiful. The apartments are spacious, with comfortable beds, fully equipped, and perfectly located in the heart of Gallipoli. The owner provided outstanding service and was always available. The terrace is amazing.

The only downside is that the bathrooms are directly connected to the bedrooms, offering limited privacy. But overall we loved the stay!

The location is excellent: just a short walk from both the beach and the lively town center, yet in a peaceful residential area. Check-in was smooth and flexible, with great communication from the host throughout.

We stayed at Palazzo Salapolis in Gallipoli, Italy. Scott, the host, was helpful, attentive and kind. He had inside information about the culture of Gallipoli and other parts of Italy. Francesco and his family were there daily and we truly enjoyed the service and help they provided. The apartment was clean and lovely (colorful). The bed linens and towels were luxurious. The apartment was minutes walk from the beach and accessible to all the old town dining. It felt like home - we stayed a full month!

Tolles Appartement mit Dachterrasse in der Altstadt von Gallipoli. Sehr sauber. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Parken am Hafen war auch kein Problem, man ist nach ca. 5-10 Min am Appartement.

I recently had the pleasure of spending four nights at Palazzo Salapolis in the charming town of Gallipoli and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and exceptional service that set the tone for our entire stay.

The Palazzo itself is a stunning historical building, beautifully restored to maintain its original charm while offering all the modern comforts. The entire building is decorated with a lot of artistic sense in an eclectic style, blending classical elegance with contemporary touches.

Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast spread, featuring fresh local produce, delicious pastries, and aromatic Italian coffee. The dining area was charming, and the attentive staff made sure we had everything we needed to start our day off right.

The location of Palazzo Salapolis is ideal. Situated in the heart of Gallipoli's historic center, it was just a short walk to the beautiful beach Purita of the Ionian sea and the impressive Gallipoli Castle. We also enjoyed strolling through the narrow streets, discovering charming shops, cafes, and restaurants.

My husband and I spent 3 superb nights in this utterly magnificent establishment run with pure love by Scott 👌👌👌.
We had a small medical emergency during the last night and Scott’s unconditional caring went above and beyond our expectations 🙏.
The love in every inch of this magnificent restoration is tangible !
The colours used in the decor are simply marvellous and the attention to detail admirable,
