Guys , you claim to be passionate about your beer, it’s a pity that you can’t be equally passionate about fulfilling online orders. Reference order No #58647, you acknowledged the order on 6.7.26 and claim to expect delivery in 3 to 5 days
It is now 20.7.26 and still no delivery, what is going on?

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. On 20th May I ordered 16 bottles of beer costing £46 for a friend’s big birthday. The order arrived on 29th May with 11 bottles, shattered glass fragments, wet labels all scratched and looked totally shabby. I emailed Saltaire straight away - no response. I phoned Saltaire 4 times and left messages - no reply. On 23rd June I got an email saying I would receive a refund of £16 to be paid within 10 days. No apology.
Saltaire - the right thing to do would be to send the remaining 5 bottles I ordered and still refund me for my wasted time dealing with yourselves.
Don’t touch them with a barge pole.

Ordered 16 bottles of beer on the 13th June for Fathers day on the 21st. Got email from DHL stating package collected and to be delivered 16th. NOT ARRIVED as of 21st. Contacted Saltaire via email twice no reply via phone no answer. Contacted DHL who stated lost in transit and to contact seller. Tried to contact Saltaire without success.

Wouldn’t even give them 1 star, ordered some beers for a present, delivery arrived opened with beers missing. Emailed them twice, didn’t even bother to reply

We came here for a tour of the brewery. The tour guide was friendly and polite and explained the history of the area, brewery buildings and how the brewery came to be. We had a beer in the tap room before the tour and the bar staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. After the tour, we were taken back to the tap room and were given 4 x 1/3 pints of different ales to taste. We stayed after this to sample some more beers. The prices were much cheaper than pub prices. Shout out to Charlie (bar staff) and his colleague for being so welcoming and helpful.

Ordered beers for a Christmas present as home delivery and order been sat as accepted but not sent for nearly a fortnight.

Two customer service emails have been ignored, the customer service line does not take calls and when I went through to the finance department and asked to be transferred the line was cut off so I will have to go down personally to see if this can be sorted.

Not impressed and will not be ordering from Saltaire again. Long time fan of the beers so very disappointed.

Ordered 24 bottles, box arrived with only 20 bottles not securely packaged, crammed into an old wine box. Made many attempts to contact by phone or email, but no response. A shame as I like the beer and have had many previous orders which have always been delivered promptly and well packaged. The change seems to have happened after their takeover in 2024. Sadly I will not be ordering any more due to their terrible customer service.

I've visited 3 times so far this year and somethings gone wrong. All the beers taste not quite right. Very sweet like its not finished brewing or there isn't enough hops. Everything is sickly sweet even the bottles I tried.

The staff seem very young and unsure how to handle some of the beers and there's been this really drunk old guy running the show generally making the place uncomfortable. Like forgetting to turn the music down when the bands are on.

Since Covid I have ordered Saltaire Brewery beers for home delivery.
Everything was fine until 2024 when the company was taken over and they started using a courier to deliver orders instead of their own staff.
Orders started taking up to a week or more. Some deliveries went missing and had to be resent.
The beers since takeover don't taste the same and some favourites such as Amarillo have been discontinued.
We no longer order beers from Saltaire.
I can only surmise that the new owners are trying to cut costs in the hope that long standing customers like ourselves won't notice the inferior service and inferior beers.

Ordered & paid online for 2 cases in July Not received my order in 2 weeks so emailed customer services and told it was lost & they’d follow up.

They didn’t follow up, and after me chasing them promised to resend my order by 1st September.

Again they failed to deliver or even give me an update. Its now 3rd September, I wonder if I will get my beer before Xmas 2025.

I’m only putting up with them as it can be nice beer but I’m think you have to buy it locally as this lot seem to be incapable of organizing the proverbial p**s-up in a brewery when it comes to fulfilling online orders.

Made 1 order with a gift voucher in 2021 and now been opted back into marketing. Avoid if you don’t like spam emails

A really nice brewery. They have a good balance of traditional bitters and stout as well as more modern beers woth New World hops. Regardless of your preferences, they are all quality beers. The online shop works really well. I have used Saltaire a few times now and have been pleased with the quality of their service.

Have been using their home delivery option since lockdown #1 and the service has always been very good (I live in W Yorkshire). Although they say delivery will be within 48 hours it's always been next day delivery. Orders are always correct and the drivers have taken care to maintain distancing.

This company is so fantastic and easy to purchase from. Through out the lockdown I would not have been able to get a wonderful drink of real ail as I am registered blind and therefore would not have been able to get the beers I want, however because of the amazing delivery service to my home that they offer I was able to have a fantastic pint. Also the beers are so very reasonable priced and are the cheapest I have found any ware on the web. The delivery drivers are also so helpful and friendly and are always happy to leave the delivery where you need it leaving if you are not in to receive it. When you have a query and send the staff an email about it they respond so quickly and efficiently. Now for the quality of the beer they sell, it is first class and there is so much to choose from and I have yet to be disappointed. Please keep up the fantastic work you are doing at the moment you are doing yourselves proud and I could not be happier to be a customer of yours.

Amazing service throughout Covid19 - having a delivery to all of Yorkshire was a massive bonus.
