I’d really like to give them zero stars! I ordered 6 ladies tops from this company. My order was shipped in two different packages that took a very long time to arrive. Although I used their listed size chart when ordering, all the tops are at least two to three sizes too small (seriously!) and do not meet US standard sizing. The company lists a 30 day return policy but the reality is quite disappointing and frustrating. When I emailed them and indicated that I was not satisfied with their product and wanted to avail myself of their return policy, they first send an email and offered to replace the items at no cost, even different items than the originally ordered ones and specified that the original items need not be returned. When I declined, they then offered a 30% discount if I would only decide to keep the items (which I can’t use, or I wouldn’t try to return them in the first place, right?). If you still don’t bite and insist on a return and refund, they then try to frighten you by listing astronomical postage fees ($50- to $110) and “customs fees” ($58-$144) you would have to pay if you insist on returning the items. This is where you find out that they are not located in the US, although their return address on the packages they mailed lists a Hialeah, FL address. For good measure, this latest communication contains a “10% cash back offer for their way to say thank you for giving them a try” if you keep their (useless) stuff. Oh, I almost forgot — their emails are signed “Much love…...”! I would suggest — strongly — you stay away from giving them a try, they are unreliable, their product is not worth the money, and they will hassle you endlessly if you try to initiate a return and refund. I figure, if they really don’t need those items returned (per their initial email) they can just refund me my purchase price and be done with. Meanwhile, I am initiating a dispute with Paypal and hope I can get their assistance.

The blouse was not as pictured and did not fit. When I finally got in touch I was offered 10% refund. They said it would cost too much to ship it back so it obviously came from China. When I wrote back furious they made another unacceptable offer. Customers cannot expect a return. I see some of the same pictures in other ads. It is a sham company.

I liked that Susan got back to me as we are working toward a resolution. The Zamma shirts are nice shirts but too thin and tight for my taste. Susan offered different options but none that fit my choice as a customer for a refund

I have never been scammed by a company so badly. Everything in their ads is a complete lie. They are not closing the store down. There is no store. Everything comes from China and is very poor quality. It is not linen as advertised. The sizing is not correct. They advertise easy returns but then tell you that you have to pay for shipping back to China or keep the item and they’ll send you 10% of your cost. I’m going to try disputing with my credit card for false advertising.

I wish I had checked this site before ordering a dress that cost $69.95. The website with nice photos of models in the dresses makes it look like you're ordering from a US company when in fact of course the clothing is shipped from China. The 30-day money back guarantee sounds like I'll have to pay for shipping. I am very disappointed in the quality of the fabric.

As for their return policy, I received this email:

This is absolutely unacceptable. How was I supposed to know that I’d have to send a return to CHINA? It’s like they KNOW their quality is SO bad and costs to return products are so high they by refunding only 10% they make a profit. They will be hearing from me. I will also file a claim with PayPal. And never again will I order anything based on an ad I see on Instagram. Biggest scam ever.

Fair price, quick delivery, great product.

Don’t fall for the beautiful pictures and cute story of cool cotton island wear. One or two things may be cotton, but what I received in a month! was polyester & spandex and not correct sizing. AND although they say they accept returns, you have to pay shipping and customs to CHINA ( of course! $50 or more. Or they say keep it and they’ll send you $10. Riiiight…..

I think dealing with this company has cured me from buying from anyone other than Amazon!

I ordered a linen blouse and a dress. The top felt less I,e cotton not linen, and the dress was a horrible 100% polyester. The top did not fit and I disliked the polyester dress so much, I didn’t even try it on. I couldn’t return them since I put them thru the refresh cycle in my dryer. So disappointed and even tho I buy all my clothes on line, I will never buy from them again.

Product and your inexcusable return policy. Shameful.

Terrible return policy!! This is what is the email I received when I inquired about returning the three $50 shirts I ordered that are poor very poor quality, and not linen as advertised.

Hadn’t ordered from Sanibel Boutique before. Shipping was fast and the two blouses I ordered are very nice. Will order again.

Ordered a top, size XL, which is what I always order from online sellers. It turned out that the top was made of very cheap fabric, was tight at the bust and much too large below, clearly poor workmanship and sizing. When I tried to return it and obtain a refund, customer service told me it wouldn’t be worth my while because it would cost more than the top to ship it to China and pay duty and tariffs and taxes. I don’t think Sanibel Boutique will benefit from my review because frankly I don’t think they care. They got my money, and I got a lousy shirt, which I’ll be throwing out.

The return policy on the website and the actual return policy are very different. I wanted to return my items and was told that "significant costs and logistics" when returning items.

Ordering the wrong size was my error, but they are quickly making it right. Their attitude was so helpful..

When I tried to make a return, I was notified that I would have to pay for international shipping plus customs fees. This is not stated on their website. They have offered me a 10% refund if I keep it. Very unsatisfactory. Never will I buy anything listed on a social media site.

Garments not as pictured. Fabric described as linen is not. Overpriced for what they look like. Didn’t expect them to be from china. Overall not worth the price. Will not order again ever
