When the emerald ash boreer arrived in Oak Park, chainsaws buzzed as nearly all the ash trees within a mile of my house were destroyed by this pest. I interviewed three tree services and selected SavaTree to protect my ash tree. They felt that my tree looked good, and recommended a plan. They advised injecting insecticide into the tree every other year, and also advised injecting kelp into the ground around the tree to fertilize it every year in order to keep it strong to resist the emerald ash borer. In addition to that they send me emails or phone calls during droughts to recommend that I water the tree to protect it. This plan saved my tree, which has grown taller and has healthy leaves every year.

Save-A-Tree is a grift operation disguised as a tree service company. Last year I had them come to do some tree cutting and repair. Little did I know they signed me up for a fertilization contract that renews without warning. In addition to pushing me into this contract, they provided no proof that they were ever at my property performing the fertilization. I have cameras all over my property. And after reviewing the video there is no evidence that these grifters ever showed up.

If you love trees and love your bank account, stay away from these con artists.

The price for SavATree is 3 times as much as my previous lawn fertilizer program.

I wish I would have seen this review before I tried to book. Run……they are the worst at even being able to schedule an appointment. I wasted several days on them.

This company is awful and uses fraudulent practices!!! Go for a small local company, not this awful corporate company. They damaged my decking by dragging tree limbs, then they made it filthy after I had just power washed my property. They could have used a different access point but they were too lazy to walk an additional two feet on my gravel paths. After stringing me along for months with their third party obnoxious corporate company who manages their claims, they decided to deny taking responsibility. Sorry for them as we have proof of what they did to our property. They also show up unannounced to your property so beware of this as well. We have some amazing small tree service companies in Oregon, this is not one of them. Oh, and this was after a tree fell on my house and they were the emergency company used by serpro. This company is fraudulent and cannot be trusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great people . I had a few diseased trees removed and many trimmed to improve my view . Office people in Steamboat Springs CO are Responsive and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and arborists knowledgeable. A very good experience for me …. Not very common with most vendors.

I had SavaTree check a couple of trees that had sustained some minor damage during the past couple of freezes. Their arborist, Ed Dolphin, made a couple of recommendations that appear to be helping the trees. I have been working with Ed for over 15 years and highly recommend his services.

The Rhode Island branch of Sav-a-Tree did some excellent work for us this winter. We had 6 very large trees taken down and two others pruned. The entire process from start to finish was professional and we are extremely pleased with the work. Both Mr. Kaiser, who did the estimate and the crew were terrific! Highly recommended!
