absolutely superb content and community.

beautifully curated and organized lesson that meet players at many levels. 6 months of hard work on the fretboard accelerator and players path have been miracle game changers. oh yeah. did I mention hard work? yes HARD WORK! there are no magic bullets however these lessons are very close.

It's a great way how to improve your bass skills. There is big variety of lessons - music theory, excercises...whatever is needed, you can find.

what I love the most about SBL is that classes are very attractive and catchy, it makes you want to learn more and even when you are already an experienced musician you still learn.

i really like their charts based approach to learning to play. You're not just memorizing scales and chords-you are actually playing stuff. Simple at first, then progressively more challenging. This is the second time I've tried to study bass and it's working out way better than before! And there is tons of content, and ability to post in forums as well as upload your playing for critique. I've been on here about 2 months now and it's really helped me learn and progress!

structure is amazing and it´s just fun to rehearse with great bass teachers and improove your bass skills thanks to scott and the whole sbl team

they are and have the best online teachers for the bass guitar. not just because of their names, but because of their down to earth, very likeable personalities and their expansive knowledge of all things bass. after only a year, my playing has only just begun to get better!

This is the best bass school there is. I was a music major in college then went to M.I. (when it was still a jazz school). SBL IS BETTER!
It doesn't matter what level you are. So many courses.So many live interactions.

The lessons cover a wide range of skills, from beginner to pro. My understanding of music theory, sight-reading, and groove has helped me play more confidently. I was hesitant to start, but the free trial allowed me to assess my skills and then begin where I needed help. The bass hangouts are amazing, and everyone who’s a member is welcome.
