Screaming Frog Reviews

One of the best technical SEO tools on the market. I have been using SF since 2015 as a paid user. Their email support is fast and very-very good. Every time I have an issue, they respond pretty much the same day.

ScreamingFrog is the best online tool to crawl websites and generate sitemaps, super powerful and user friendly

Screaming Frog is very powerful tool I found for technical SEO audits. It quickly finds broken links, redirects and on-page issues. The data is accurate and exporting reports is easy. The interface feel a bit technical for beginners and takes time to learn but still a good tool.

Best SEO Tool for crawling.
I even don't know where to start. This tool can do like anything, extract, search, crawl sitemaps, google sheets, a n y t h i n g, its amazing. It saved me a lot of time when I used it and it helped me see the data more beautiful.
The reason why I am writing this review is because of their customer support. Had an issue, send them an email and they helped me and fixed the bug for the next update of screaming frog. Very friendly, very understanding people.
This tool deserves all the money in the world, its the best cheap tool for crawling.
Thank you Screaming Frog.

The data you get is top-tier,making it essential for real SEO work. But the free version's 500 url limit is useless for any actual site. You're forced to pay the license fee to do anything meaningful

Used to love this tool, but now it's completely useless to me without a license and I only used it for very basic stuff in the past. All I want to do is be able to scan a website and pull the meta titles, descriptions, H1, H2 tags, Image alts etc, but if you use WordPress you end up having to sift thrugh all of the /wp-content URLs. I used to be able to bypass that by clicking on "Page Titles" but now I can't. I can't be bothered to sift through all of that nonsense for a 5 page website. You also can't touch the configurations to exclude these folders or even respect the robots file. It went from being a useful freemium plugin to not being that at all. I don't even know why they offer a free version any more. It has since been uninstalled from my computer.

Screaming Frog is much better than any online SEO websites. It is simple to use, it provides what you need. Screaming frog does not auto renew your license. It is very respectful of the customer. The software does not use your website data to help competitors as other online SEO websites do.

We requested a refund according to their terms and condition, however they couldn't be bothered replying.

still reliable after all these years

The software does what it's supposed to do. Unfortunately after your license expires, the old version that you still have gets artificially limited as if you never had a license. This is ridiculous for a piece of software that has no running costs for them as it runs on your own computer.

I love Screaming Frog and I couldn't do without it!
Best quality/price ratio of any other SEO tool around, its direct competitors cost per month what Screaming Frog will cost you for a whole year. Their support is number one, fast and efficient, and they're not just there to fix problems, they'll be happy to help you with set up and crawling settings, in case you're not sure. Even their social media presence is brilliant! There's only one thing you need to look out for: this software has to be installed locally and it can require a lot of resources, specifically RAM, so be sure to install it on a machine that can support its performances.

I have been using Frog for a long time and it is great. For SEO it is a must tool. Works well, plenty of useful functions! Five Stars
