Ordered Herman Miller, Aeron Chair, Fully Featured Model, Size B, Black, with leather arm pads and soft rollerblade casters for $708.99 from Seating Mind on January 14, 2026. When my order was not received by February 11, 2026 I inquired about the status of the shipment and was informed by Seating Mind that there was a back-up on orders and that my chair would be shipped the week of February 23rd. Chair was never shipped so on March 14, 2026 I sent a request to Seating Mind again asking that, if the chair could not be shipped the following week, I request a refund of my purchase. On March 16, 2026 Jacob Kellner at Seating Mind said the chair would be shipped the following week. I asked that, if the chair could not be shipped by Monday, March 23rd, I wanted a refund. On March 25, 2026, having heard nothing from anyone at Seating Mind, I requested an immediate full refund. I was told by Jacob Kellner on March 25, 2026 that the chair had been shipped via UPS and was given a tracking number. I contacted UPS and they showed that they did not have my chair. Seating Mind had only created a mailing label with UPS. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau on March 25, 2026 requesting a refund from Seating Mind. Found out that Seating Mind is not accredited with the BBB and has an F rating with them. Since then I have requested from Seating Mind an immediate full refund of what I paid by submitting a customer service request on their website multiple times and have received no response.

I’m convinced that this guy should be in jail or better yet, under someone’s boot. Unfortunately, I looked at the various review sites far too late. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!!!

I read several reviews before purchasing on Seatingmind.com, many of which warned about long delay times. I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron chair on February 6, 2026 - despite many promises and false starts, on March 24, they told me the earliest they could ship a chair would be the week of April 6. They had made similar promises for the prior weeks, so ultimately I canceled the order. I don’t trust them at all - buy at your own risk. This borders on fraud.

When I originally ordered, after 2 weeks, the tracking info stated it hadn't left the facility. I asked for a refund and they denied. The chair showed up a while later. After 2 years, the cylinder leaked oil all over my floor. I contacted the company, they said cylinders are not under their warranty, even though their warranty page states they cover the chair's mechanics for 12 years. I contacted Herman Miller who made the chair, and they stated seatingmind is not an authorized reseller. Don't trust them.

I ordered wrong chair, but they promptly refunded my order. I will definitely order chair from this ompany in the future!

Total scam website. Took my order and money on July 7, 2025 and were still promising to ship as of October 16th. They now tell me to talk to my credit card if I want my money back... They kept promising to ship but never did. They know what they're doing which is to steal your money and not deliver your product

This company is a total scam. I ordered four Herman Miller Aeron chairs on October 3, 2024 for $3,399.96. Not only did I never receive the chairs, but nearly a year later I still haven’t received the refund they promised.
They strung me along for months with excuse after excuse:
• First, I was told the chairs would ship in November, then December, then “next week” (over and over).
• When I finally cancelled on December 11, 2024, I was told the refund would post in 7–9 business days.
• Months later, after dozens of emails and calls, they kept pushing the refund out another 30 days, another 30 days, another 30 days.
• As of June 2025, nothing. No chairs, no refund.
It’s clear this is how they operate: take your money, delay, lie, and hope you give up. Their sales rep (Jacob Kellner) and customer service people all gave me the runaround.
SeatingMind is not a real furniture vendor — it’s a predatory scam. Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and thousands of dollars. Do not order from SeatingMind.

Ordered a chair for my office and over 3 months of waiting and never received it. Numerous emails and excuses of future shipping dates!! This company is a FRAUD! Thinking interstate bank fraud by accepting credit card payments and never delivering.

USED. Purchased from a listing that said "Those chairs where purchased buy a large corporation which they did not end up needing them, due to covid, or they over purchased, so we purchased the load back, and can offer to our customers a larger discounts, They all still look Brand New" Chair is very clearly used, with top of seat and arms showing dirt and upholstered areas having pervasive smell of laundry products.

5 weeks and no chair, oh next week , oh next week, oh next week. Putting in a fraudulent claim with my credit card company which should flag it as a fraudulent company and hopefully save other people wasting their time.

Scam. They don't return messages.

Horrible. Save your time and money - this company is a scam. I paid over $500.00 for an office chair (which the company cashed and has my money). Its been over a month - NO chair NO delivery. When I contacted the company they said it will be another 4 weeks before they can ship the chair - save your time and money.

This company is just a scam. Once I placed an order, and the credit card was charged, the chair was never shipped. When they said the order would be delayed, I canceled it. They said I'd get a refund in 9 days, and that's the last I heard from them. No refund. I sent emails, left phone messages, with no reply. I eventually got a refund from PayPal but that took over a month. Do not do business with these thieves!

I wish I had looked at reviews prior to placing my order. Like others have said after order is placed the company did not send out a shipment notification. I reached out to the company asking if I would have the chair before Christmas. I was told they understood and the chair would ship with urgency. A week later no shipment notification. When I inquired again I was told it would ship at the end of the month. I requested that the order be cancelled which they agreed to do. I ended up having to file a dispute with PayPal (payment method) to get my refund. They take your money, never send the item and you have to file a dispute to get your money back. They sit on your money until they are forced to refund it by your payment method.

It took a month and multiple follow ups on my part to request status of the shipment, which kept getting pushed back despite the promise of the shipping and delivery on their website, to get a shipping notice. I guess the shipping notice is fraudulent. Tracking has not shown movement and shows issues, for the last 14 days. It was only because I was so busy I didn't cancel and reorder from elsewhere weeks ago. But now I paid the price on the back end by having to spend time disputing the charge and ordering the chair elsewhere. It costed me over one month's time delay in finishing an office renovation.

Hi - If I could give zero stars and write a review I would. Don't EVER order from them. They charged my card and then cancelled my order in a week. I bought a chair elsewhere. Then they shipped me a chair without my permission and wouldn't cancel it. I had to dispute it on my credit card. They are horrible.

I never got an order invoice - and so after looking online I decided to cancel. 11/21/24 cancellation. They just replied consider it cancelled - money back to credit card within 7-9 business days. I filed with credit card company after that time passed. They told me to call company. You can't reach a human being.

Just through email - now in december - they say that they can't stop the order now - it's being shipped. Over a week later - it's being shipped and then they file with credit card company that sale is complete and that i never cancelled order (even though my email from them clearly states that I did).

They just force a sale upon you. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. They know how to play the shipping / delay game and don't provide all the details required by the cc company to get your money back. So you could end up with a box of rocks - no one is on your side. They are not reputable by any means.

Better Business Bureau rating is F. Never seen that before.

They charged my credit card immediately even though they did not have or ship the product. I waited until their original delivery estimate passed to reach out to them. They were difficult to get a response from, when I did, they promised it would ship within 2 weeks. It didn't, then they sent me the exact same promise email with the date pushed out another 2 weeks.

I asked for a refund and to cancel the order. They said they would issue a refund, but did not.

I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and Seatingmind lied to them and said they delivered the chairs. After some back and forth, the credit card company did refund the money.

I would suggest NOT trying to purchase anything from them.

Beware: if you have to return your order because the product is broken or does not correspond to your initial order, you will be charged 20% from the total amount no matter what. They call it "service fee"!

The model I ordered, the Mirra 2 chair from Herman Miller, is advertised as a “fully adjustment model”. Their website shows pictures of the chair including all adjustments.
The Mirra 2 chair I received did not include the "seat angle adjustment” tilt, which is a major adjustment. It should have been included with the chair.
I wrote many emails explaining that the chair I received did not match their listing.
They finally agreed on a refund. They sent an email explaining how to return the chair and get the refund, but the "20% service fee" was not mentioned at all.

When I checked my bank statement 10 days later, I noticed that $130 was missing from the total refund.
Their answer was:"We are applying a service fee"on any returns.
I tried to get my money back, with no results. I believe it's unfair. It was a defect. The advertisement was a false claim. At the end, they have their chair back with a bonus of $130.
