Police Clearances last for 3 years
Police Clearances last for 3 years, so please stop expecting to verify ones that are only less than 6 months old. Everything has become far too complicated and it has become far too difficult and disheartening to seek work in Australia.

Hi Pat, thank you for your review on SEEK Pass. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to enhance our services.
Currently, if a police check certificate was issued more than 12 months ago, it wouldn't fall within our definition of 'recent'.
A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is a 'point in time' check. This means the results only reflect police records on the date that the check is released. The organisation that requires a check will typically determine the acceptable length of time and this can vary. In general, most organisations would consider a check valid for approximately 3-4 months.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Support team at support@seekpass.co

Hi Ray, our intent in enabling you to verify and share your work-related credentials is to help you stand out to potential employers when applying for jobs on SEEK. We leave the decision of whether to verify and share your result with you, and you remain in control over the whole process.
I’d like to reassure you that if you choose not to verify and share your work-related credentials for any reason, your job application itself is still visible to the employer as normal. The employer will still see the details of your application, the answers to the role requirement questions, and your resume and cover letter as provided.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Support team at support@seekpass.co

Trouble with CORRECT WORK RIGHTS OPTIONS
I am having facing trouble with work rights options in the Seek PASS. Being in possession of the student VISA 500 issued in relation to a doctoral degree, the options to verify work rights on SEEKPASS states "Work rights
Temporary work rights in Australia, restrictions apply"
which is not true for student visa holders for doctorate or masters by research degree
