The rudness and unprofessional approach towards me from higher up has been disgusting, not what
I expected from a government service.
I have decided to publicly review my experience so far as well as completing a formal complaint to the associate director.

My advice to you, record everything to cover your back. I felt bullied and intimated by a manager a member of staff.
I was told that 'I'd imagined not getting a telephone call, even when I could back up No call took place with screenshots of call log history.
When I started defending myself, was when the bullying began it's like having a government organisation with a clear vendetta against you.

By keeping to your UC work commitments by seeking your own work and work experience and studying in college under your own terms,.
For any jobs they want you to forward, ask them to send you an email with the details you will apply for on your behalf, and show evidence to your advisor if required.
This way, you remain under full control. I did this for 10 months, turning up to my mandatory appointments in and out of 10 minutes at maximum zero pressure, showing all my own job applications, and remaining in college while doing my course and seeking myself work experience at my own pace.
The first two months were hell on earth with my consent to share, with 3rd parties putting forward jobs miles away at 4 a.m. once withdrawal consent forms, all back to normal.
I did give them a chance, but I didn't like their aggressive, condescending approach and their threatening sanction behaviour towards a job at 4 a.m. without allowing me to explain. My reasons: no public transport; the advisor didn't take the answer; no only wanted yes or maybe held me. At gunpoint over the phone.
Seetec lost so much funding from me that I didn't take any courses or jobs from them. Maybe take a look at the advisors you employed and train them up to a standard level. I did find that the two sales advisors yes sales advisors checked them out on LinkedIn.
I had were terrible at communication skills and no people skills no empathy no duty of care. They were very good at talking down to you in a very condescending way. This scheme has so much potential—all bad negative feedback all down to advisors actions.

PROTECT YOUR CREDIT - SIGN NOTHING
So, I my advisor was actually alright. No major negatives toward him apart from perhaps trying to trick me into signing the forms on my first meeting when potentially claiming for travel expenses. The lassy next to him was having a lovely chat with a girlfriend about weekend plans, a phone call I would have taken away from my desk if my desk partner had a client so I lowered my expectations considerably.
I sacrificed the bus fee for my first appointment and advised the job centre that although I attended the first meeting I did not feel that Seetec could help me and also that I did not sign up to their services.
The jobcentre must refer you if you are long term unemployed, but that does not mean you must sign up to the services of said QUANGO. If you sign their paperwork, you are agreeing to their terms of service, which will unlikely be helpful and hinder you further.
I am still applying for work but no negative affects to my UC
Sorry Seetec - do not pass go & do not collect your £3,000.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Junior on my apprenticeship over the past 18 months and I am so thankful!! He was always an email away whenever I needed help, and nothing was ever too much trouble!
He was always a smiley face that I needed in the months of stress around my EPA - anyone who calls Junior their tutor is very lucky :)

Applied for a job with this lot last year. Was offered an interview in Nov 2023, but I had to turn it away as at the time I was adjusting to new anti depressants. So I'm given the opportunity to reapply this year, which I do, but this time they turn me down. Hmmmm seems like discrimination to me.
Update 15/02/24. I also emailed the HR dept with regards to this as well. Funny how they reply here first (clearly to save face) rather than my email first. Trustpilot reviews clearly can hurt a business if they are poor reviews. Acting in such a pathetic manner does not appease me at all. You most certainly are guilty of discrimination against me. It's a pity I'm not born of an ethnic minority as well, because I'm sure I could take you court because of this.

I received support and help from my employment advisor, Michael Carroll. Since being on the Work and Health Programme I have been encouraged to believe in myself more and received advice in difficult situations. My time with Michael so far has motivated me to apply for more jobs than I have before being on the programme. I have become more comfortable in attending anxiety filled environments and less depressed with life in general.

During my time with Seetec I was regularly given appointments on a fortnightly basis . I was always appointed the same worker which helps greatly . My worker was Michael and he was very professional but also approached our meeting with a personal manner . Michael helped me with any issues I had and nothing was any trouble to him . All the people working here are kind and supportive, they've seen me at points incredibly upset and looked after me. The office in Southampton is lovely to visit, faux flowers, comfy seating and coffee in the lobby so you become at ease while you wait for your appointment. Very good experience! I was on program for 1 month until nikka found ne a job perfect for me.
What stands out for me though is the training! They are very lucky to have shay, I can not say enough good things about him and the training witch empowered me to find a job.
