Poor service, missing product, late delivery

Delivery was much slower than said on the website. The design of Argo lightsaber is good in general except for the sound which is muffled and super bad because of speaker being too deep and not enough holes being put for sound to come through. I have Temu version of luke lightsaber and its easily on par with what ive got here and 2x cheaper which is insane to me. The gift lightsaber is said to be worth 150 euros but considering what you can find on temu it should be worth max 50 euros if even that. TLDR Not worth it just get saber from temu cheaper and does the same thing no joke.

In meinen Augen ist die Internetseite irreführend bei der Lieferzeit und dem Lagerbestand. Meine Lieferung kam aus China und hat natürlich wesentlich länger gedauert als angegeben.
Die vier Lichtschwerter sind okay aber für das Geld bekommt man allerdings woanders bessere Qualität. Für unser Cosplay ausreichend, für die Kämpfe bleiben wir bei anderen Händlern.
Es war ein Testkauf und wir werden bei Selecta kein weiteres Lichtschwert oder Zubehör kaufen.

After a month of waiting, I finally received the sabers. The quality of the Anakin replica is high — very responsive, the light is intense, and the sound is good. The promotional saber has lower quality — it doesn’t have smooth swing, the sound is weaker, and the light is somewhat less intense. However, it does respond to impact like a quality saber, and the hilt feels good in the hand.

The major problem is the non-transparent and deficient way they communicate. The delays are significant, the customer service is evasive, and the marketing campaign is — and I’m sorry to say this — deeply misleading. I waited a full month for a package that, according to the official website, was supposed to arrive in at most a week and a half.

Saber quality: 7.5/10 (Anakin replica: 9/10, bonus saber: 6/10)

Customer service: 4.5/10 (evasive and non-transparent — no reason for the delay was justified with credible evidence)

Delivery service: 2/10 (I was repeatedly misled about the status of the package. The label was created before the parcel was actually handed over, and the order arrived long after their promised date)

Overall Selecta Sabers experience: 4.66/10 (2/5 stars)

Conclusion: I do not recommend them. I believe there are more reliable providers on the market than Selecta Sabers.

This review reflects the documented timeline of my experience.

The company’s marketing states a delivery timeframe of 4–6 days. Based on that representation, I placed and fully paid for my order on February 12. Payment was processed immediately.

In the days that followed, I was repeatedly assured that the order was scheduled to ship. I was later explicitly told that I would receive the package on March 2.

On February 26, a DHL tracking number was generated. From any reasonable customer’s perspective, that indicates the parcel has been dispatched.

It had not.

On March 3, one day after the promised delivery date, DHL confirmed directly that they had not received the parcel from the seller and had not been in contact with it at all.

So despite a 4–6 day delivery claim, repeated assurances that the order had been shipped and the issuance of a tracking number, the courier still did not have the package in their possession after the promised delivery date had already passed.

There was no transparent explanation for why a tracking number existed without an actual shipment. There was no accountability for the missed delivery date. Communication felt automated and evasive rather than clear and responsible.

The gap between the glamorous marketing and the operational reality is extreme. Promised timelines were not respected. Representations about shipment did not match the courier’s confirmation. Transparency was absent when it mattered most.

Customers rely on stated delivery times and shipping confirmations to make purchasing decisions. When those representations do not align with documented facts, trust collapses.

Practices like this damage consumer confidence and should not survive in a serious marketplace.

The quality of the swords is incredible. I deducted a star because I had a lot of trouble during the shipping process. But the seller was helpful enough. The swords are really beautiful.

I have purchased lightsabers from Selecta Sabers multiple times and can confidently say the quality is excellent. The materials, finishes, and performance are top-level, perfect for both collectors and enthusiasts. Their staff is always available and ready to help with any need: they respond quickly, offer useful advice, and assist customers with great professionalism. In particular, I have bought the OLED Saber twice for myself and gifted it once, making a great impression. It is a spectacular product with impressive attention to detail. Selecta Sabers is very reliable, and I will definitely continue buying from them. Highly recommended!

The products are great, they look amazing and they work well. However the shipping was incredibly slow and they aren't very clear about this on their website. The website says 4 to 8 days but they don't mention it's possible for your order to be stuck at customs for over a month. I was also not able to track my package until it reached my country which left me feeling unsure if I'd ever receive my order. Customer service could be better and needs to be more clear with communication. Packaging also could have been nicer. Kind of just looks as though everything was chucked into a box. That being said there is no problems with the product itself.
