selfpublishing.com Reviews

This company offers legitimate, sound advice for self-publishing authors. The staff is knowledgeable and very professional. Most importantly, I can tell you from first-hand experience that they are honest and uphold their commitments to authors.

I thought one day I'd write the books I meant to write. I was introduced to Selfpublishing.com and after some research of other self-publishing groups I was sold on Selfpublishing.com. They taught me, pushed me, stayed with me and got me over the publication finish line. My book has been released on Amazon. I'm working on follow up books 2 and 3. When the Selfpublishing.com rep asked why I decided to sign up my answer was an honest, "If not now, when?"

Since I signed up with self-publishing several years ago, the services that were available from the onset have continued to grow in value, as well as a host of additional programs and opportunities. Chandler and his team have continued to evolve and stay ahead of the curve while meeting the needs and pain points of up-and-coming authors. So thankful to have prompt access if I find myself in a quandary. Looking forward to another high-energy AAL!

Self publishing school is the place I turn to to look up anything for my self publishing questions!

Chandler and his team were easy to work with and very helpful at providing coaching and suggestions on how to get started and complete my book.

I am about to start working on my first book with Self Publishing, feeling very inspired and the process is going to be straightforward. Andrew, from Self Publishing, has been great to talk to, really got what I'm aiming for, and made me feel confident that I can do it, and make my dreams come true. If you're thinking about expressing an idea, or a vision, and writing a book, just do it. They offer an amazing support , coaches and training process. Words matter, visions matter, and you matter.

I am only 2 weeks into this process, but everyone I have spoken with has been so kind, so helpful, so joy-filled. The entire process seems so organized and clear. I am excited!

Loved how they walked me step by step with a blueprint for writing a book. I had no prior knowledge and now I do!

"I am impressed with selfpublishing.com. The training is impeccable, well thought out, and easy to use. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, this was way more than I expected for the price."

SelfPublishing.com has taken me out of a dark cave. I've been dragging my feet on an incomplete manuscript for years. Selfpublishing.com gave me a roadmap and now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I've been involved with SPS for 10 months. The course is wonderful and easy to navigate. But the best part of SPS is the group coaching calls. It takes time and repetition to absorb the keys to this complex art of writing and publishing. These calls have kept me going on an even keel. Another great thing are the Writing Rooms offered several times a day. These online sessions are blocked out time that you commit to write or edit amongst friends and fellow authors. I hope you join us at SPS.

"Self Publishing is the best program I could have joined to foster my first children's book! They have training for any questions, and you'll have personal guidance throughout the process! Stop procrastinating, trust yourself, and take the leap of faith in your journey!"

Selfpublishing.com was a great service. I had no idea of the work that went into creating and marketing a book. They helped me every step of the way. Not only did they provide thorough course content, but they also provided a coach that I met with regularly. In addition to my regularly scheduled 1-on-1 coaching sessions, they have office hours and group sessions that I can join at any time that I have questions. I can email questions and submit tickets any time I need assistance as well.

I've only just begun working with selfpublishing.com and the experience has been sensational! Matthew brings an uplifting and motivating positive attitude that is par to none!! I highly recommend!

They sold me the "Author Accelerator Advantage" program for $11.5k. Huge mistake.

Firstly, they advertised on numerous places in their website that they did author websites and that was a big reason I purchased this since that's a $1000 in itself. I was told multiple times that they don't do them anymore, despite the fact they advertised it. Ridiculous.

The process of getting my cover done was extremely frustrating. I first worked with someone named "Joe." Joe was extremely unprofessional, never returned emails, waited weeks to get anything done. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience.

It took me weeks to get anything done with this guy. I even texted/called him numerous times to try to get him to do something very simple for me (upload to KDP so I could send my dying father a copy of the book) and he dragged his feet for WEEKS.

Absolutely absurd, but I came to learn he's about normal for this company. I should have listened to the rest of the terrible reviews.

I then complained to the CEO on Facebook, and Tyler Perdue called me. He described himself as a "fixer." After all the problems they were trying to advertise a package that had what I wanted: guaranteed reviews and a best seller. That's all I wanted, reviews and a best seller.

He said, both on a voice call and in writing in an email, that he could "definitely" get my book to best seller and 100 reviews. We spoke about it at length. He said he could "definitely" do it. We had the understanding that that would happen.

It never happened.

I have no new reviews and no proof my book hit best seller. He tried to claim that it "should have hit best seller" but where's the proof? You're telling me that for $11.5k you don't have someone to take a damn screenshot or something? Really? NO PROOF.

Both he and Dakota tried to claim they never promised reviews. What does the word "definitely" mean then?

Absolutely abysmal experience from this company. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

Thanks to the outstanding teachers at this school (especially RE Vance), I've written two books. selfpublishing.com is an informative and welcoming community dedicated to helping you learn the crafts of writing, publishing, and marketing. Their support in this solitary profession is the best!

I am thrilled to have found selfpublishing.com. From the first conversation with the representative, I knew that I was in the right place. The resources, classes and mentorship are helping me to be successful with my book endeavor. They have already inspired me to stretch farther than I ever imagined! I am beyond grateful. I recommend selfpublishing.com to anyone who has a dream of publishing a book but doesn't know how to start. Start here. Start now.

selfhelppubblishingschool made the dream of my book possible. I got the help I needed from experts on the team.

The professionalism exercised by all personnel at Selfpublishing.com is exemplary. The quality of mentorship is world-class, every person had my best interest at heart when times seemed to be difficult. The work done by each department in producing my book was always done with patience and outstanding results.

Brittany guided me in preparing for the upcoming processes. My manuscript was 99% complete when I arrived here, so we were talking about self-editing, then moving into the editing process (in house) which is where my manuscript is currently. This process has been an amazing catalyst to progress with my book. I am so excited to finish it now!!
