Well, what can I say. What an absolute fantastic experience. Was made so easy, great communication, very good offer price and even paid towards the postage. Made contact online and got a fast response with an estimates sell valve. Boxed it up and don't forget to unbind from you account.
SMD will offer to cover the postage which I thought was a nice touch.
I sent via DHL and was paid into my bank account within a hour of it arriving.

It is rare these days to find a business that still understands the value of customer service and interaction. Not with an automated phone system, not with "chat bots" and not with someone who is difficult to understand.

I approached "The Drone Hanger" originally to sell my Mavic 2 Zoom, an older drone that I rarely flew. From the start, Ron from The Drone Hanger (I later found out that he is the company owner) was knowledgeable and open to discussion. Where I made mistakes in understanding of the technology, Ron was able to point this out and suggest solutions. At every stage of the discussion he was polite and patient and made me feel at ease when I needed to ask questions.

I cannot tell you what a breath of fresh air this was from a customer perspective.

Once we had agreed on a proposal for sale and part-exchange, Ron guided me through the process for sending my devices back to The Drone Hanger and what steps (if any) I might need to take to ensure that the drone(s) were in a factory reset and unbound condition.

In the final solution, I sold two drones and bought one back in a part exchange agreement. My new drone arrived the next day and was exactly as described.

I can't recommend these folks highly enough and would use them again without hesitation. The Drone Hanger will be the first place I look when I have a need in the future.

Had a DJI Mini 3 that I was looking to sell and came across SellMyDrones after a quick Google. Came on TrustPilot and saw 179 x 5* reviews with nothing below that which honestly made me genuinely question whether it might have been a scam (given I know 'paying for ratings' is a thing these days), but I gave it a whirl and can absolutely see why it's gotten its 100 % five star rating. Like many others have said, Ron, who was the point of contact after receiving the quote, was extremely helpful throughout the process [which was very quick overall = 3 days total?]: it was simple, efficient, and I felt I received a fair quote for the drone itself. The money that was promised landed within my bank account within c. 1 hr of Ron confirming that the drone had been received on his end.

If and when I need to sell a drone in future, I don't think I'd even bother looking for an alternative option as I'd happily use SellMyDrones again and would feel confident in recommending them to others.

I wanted to sell my DJ Mini SE Fly More Combo, it’s literally brand new but I never found time to fly it.
I thought about selling on Facebook Marketplace or eBay, but didn’t want the hassle that comes with it.
I emailed Ron @ Sell My Drones and immediately received a quote for my DJI Mini SE. I was happy with the amount quoted and immediately posted it.

Late on Sunday evening, I decided it was time to reduce my expanding stable of drones by 2.

I came across the 'SellMyDrones' site on the following morning's search of potential buyers and was pleasantly surprised at the quote I received, which included a contribution to postage costs.

My contact via email was with 'Ron,' and Ron could not have been more helpful - immediate response to my questions with a no messing no quibble approach.

I packed everything up on the Tuesday, and sent it off by 'next day' courier service.

Today Wednesday Ron emailed to say he'd received my drones, checked them, and made immediate payment of the agreed quote by bank transfer.

If you have a drone or anything drone related to sell or buy, Ron is most definitely your man. I posted my drone on Friday using special delivery, which Ron also contributed towards. Ron received it on Saturday and the money was transferred straight away. An absolute pleasure to deal with.

As a retiring commercial drone operator (PfCO/GVC/OA) with a fleet of five rotary-wing and one fixed-wing SUAS, I conducted considerable research before contacting SellMyDrones, hoping to sell the entire fleet to a single buyer.

To my surprise, I received a positive response from Ron, the affable gentleman I dealt with. Contrary to my expectations, there was no attempt to devalue any of the SUAS. From the beginning, Ron offered a realistic value, considering he is a reseller and not an end-user. Consequently, I was happy to sell the entire fleet.

Ron even offered to assist with the shipping charges. However, due to the bulk of the equipment, I opted to deliver them in person despite the 500-mile round trip.

Smoothest process there is. I dealt with Ron, gave me a quote for my drone and explained the process and how he came to the price quoted. I sent the item next day and it arrived just before 1pm, by 2pm it had been tested and I received the money by bank transfer immediately. I had an Avata 2 drone that I had bought, used a few times and then realised that It wasn't my type of flying (mini 3 pro type auto videos/photos once you have lined up the things that look good rather than the Avata 2s full FPV place, where you can't just sit there, focus in on a place etc etc) and contacted Sell My Drones (available at wwwdotsellmydrones.co.uk) to ask what sort of price they would be likely to offer.
