After giving the honest account of what occured, the company came up with a lie about giving a "free-trial". If you read other reviews below, it wasn't clear upon initial posting that a payment was required. We are happy that there are people who want to advocate for teachers as we respect and have worked with teachers for over 140 years. However, there is no mention of a free trial in our email threads nor was there any acknowledgement regarding our legitimate concern regarding being flooded with emails prior to activating an account. All of these emails ask you to pay. There are numerous emails demanding payment and speaking to us as a potential client condescendingly. It is important for companies and teachers to know who they are working with. We have worked with other listing websites who have not charged and have given us great results with no bullying tactics and lies. This is the last we will discuss this but be warned.There are so many other trustworthy sites.

Being out of the job market for a while, I found the course helpful to refresh my knowledge and provided a deeper insight into grammar rules. It is a tough course but well worth the effort.

I have been using this site for recruiting teachers for my school for 15 years! It is such a unique and efficient job board. Extremely economical and the variety as well as quality of teachers is outstanding.

I have used this platform for finding teaching jobs for over 10 years. Offers are pretty solid. It is user friendly and completely a free service which they don't seem to get enough credit for. Whenever I write the admin, they answer within a few hours. Hard working team that has brought many teachers the ability to fulfill their dreams and teach abroad.
All the job postings are paid for and vetted so you know that they are completely verified.

I joined Serious Teachers and filled my academic info. Being fully qualified as an ESL teacher and having my degree from an English speaking country I was then informed that I needed to get TEFL to contact recruiters. No thanks! Some of the jobs are faked, the academies don't exist. I informed them via email my wish to delete my account which I couldn't do it myself. Now I can't login either. Awful website.

I am a recruiter for an online teaching company and I found seriousteachers.com to be the best source in the industry. They have quite a lot of qualified and professional teachers and their system, such as their dashboard makes it seamless to contact teachers, interview them etc. Their pricing is excellent, beginning at only $49 US. We have just bought a larger ad package because the results were so good.

I currently work as a hiring manager for a large education company.

I typed out an ad and then it asked me to activate, it was quite pricey, so I deleted the ad and deleted my account.

Not even a minutes later I received very hard e-mails that were threatening and questioning my integrity.

Now, they have contaced my company and demanded money from them!

They should stop this tactic!

Through correspondence with one of their representatives, he was rude, sarcastic and condescending. I wouldn't recommend using this site.

I just complete their TEFL Course and it was one of the best learning experiences I have ever had. The modules were filled with tips, and taught me skills that were completely new which I have already used in my classroom.
It was completely online and very modern, the exams were live and timed.
Customer service was excellent as well.

I am the Lead HR for an international school in Germany. We have tried many job boards and even recruitment services throughout the years and I can honestly say that the streamlined service and very advanced system of Serious Teachers is like nothing we have ever seen. Also their Customer Service actually read your emails and get back to you within hours. Will be going with them again in 2022.

I have a business and was prepared to advertise on it for staff (place a vacancy ad). No mention of the cost was revealed until after the listing had been created. The charge per week was quite high so I thought to myself.. no, thank you.

Within 24 hours I received emails from two different people connected with the company, acting like gangsters using the words like URGENT PAYMENT REQUIRED in the email title field. I replied to the first one pointing out that the cost should be made clear before someone decides to post an ad on their site. I got a reply back, but then further correspondence was returned as if my email address had been blocked by them.

There is a word for people like this : tossers.
