Over the last 6 months, I’ve had the most fun and eye opening experience on this hypnotherapy course. The journey has been incredible, and it’s all thanks to my amazing tutors, Caron and Adele. They are not only extremely knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and helpful. No matter what questions I had, they were always there with guidance and support, making the learning process so enjoyable and stress free.

I've truly enjoyed every moment of the course, and I feel well-prepared and excited for what the future holds. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in hypnotherapy!

For the last 6 months, under the wings of our amazing lecturers Lee and Louisa we learnt how to utilise evidence-based therapeutic practices to enhance the well being of others. Little did we know how much it would also enhance our own well being. My classmates and I have been on a journey of personal transformation and there is no looking back. I highly recommend the SFTA as a training school for hypnotherapy practitioners as the support from everyone on it was priceless. It has become my new tribe, a family of likeminded people I will always be grateful for being a member of. Penny D.

Personal and quite informal although very informative. Tutors Lee and Louisa were great. Piers were great. Learning was interesting and adequate to get results. I do think the technical side needs to be in person and practical exercise in class time.

Unbelievable experience. Quality of the tutoring particularly was incredible and the course was always entertaining, stimulating and delivered in a comprehensible manner.

On a personal note shortly after the commencement of the course I experienced an unanticipated life changing event. I thought I would need to terminate my involvement but with the amazing support and encouragement (and patience) of the tutors and rest of the group I have today graduated!

Cathy’s upbeat and energetic personality shines through and captivates her audience, her passion and knowledge for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is evident from the first meeting and her explanations of the subject and the neuroscience behind it are easily understood by all.
Cathy’s business acumen is another area from which so much can be learned and proves invaluable when setting up your own successful hypnotherapy practice.

Cathy and Charlotte are excellent lecturers. They have a unique style and flair that brings the content to life. Their style is engaging and the energy in the room is upbeat. They both have the rare skill of being able to get across the learning material to the whole classroom while catering for the individual and providing a lot of laughs too along the way. These wonderful ladies have not only taught me a lot but have also made a real impact on me as a person too. I feel truly blessed to have spent this time with them and can highly recommend their lectures.

I've recently enjoyed learning with Cathy Eland and Charlotte Spillane and it was so enjoyable.

They are both experts in neuroscience which meant that every topic was covered in depth and all questions were answered fluidly. Their combined experience meant that there was always a ready case study to bring the information to life.

But most of all it was fun! Their brilliance meant that we were all entirely confident in what we were being taught and that meant that sessions were relaxed as well as informative.

They created an atmosphere which encouraged vulnerability and openness which allowed the group to bond and flourish together.

I loved every minute of it and am deeply grateful to both Cathy and Charlotte for what transpired to be a life changing experience for so many of us.

I have experienced Cathy and Charlotte's teaching style these past 10 months, and I can vouch that it is engaging, exciting, yet practical and well guided. They both spin of each other making it so much fun, whilst giving so much confidence and self belief to the class. The extra effort in evolving and adapting to teach at their very best was obvious, and I am sure they will continue to nurture many more passionate, discerning solution focused hypnotherapists and be at the top of their field.

I think what makes Cathy Eland and Charlotte Spillane's teaching stand out as exceptional is the extensive clinical experience which they segue into a robust curriculum to make the course theoretical but real. From the start, the neuroscience was explained alongside client examples which enriched and enlivened the content and made it accessible to all levels of understanding; nothing ever felt abstract because it was always rooted in case study and application was evident from the start. They both bring with them different specialities and approaches and I found that fundamental to helping me to determine my path. Whilst Solution Focused Hypnotherapy has a strict framework at its core, I was fortunate to see differing interpretations of that to maximise benefit to the client. The tutors' enthusiasm for every aspect of clinical practice was infectious and I feel privileged to have studied under their guidance.

I found Caron to be an excellent tutor. I was totally new to the world of SFH and she made everything so understandable and enjoyable. Is very supportive and approachable too.

I trained to be a hypnotherapist with Catherine Eland and Charlotte Spillane, their ability to teach, explain and support is second to none.
