This story begun December 2024 when I noticed that the two ultralightweight beanies do not block radiation any more, measured with a microwave radiation meter. Check also two t-shirts made of the same material, same result. This after 2-3 washes done as in washing instructions.
Sent couple of messages to the customer service mail address. After a few weeks got an sms from guy called Marek that all my mails have been answered, however, maybe ended into junk mail (a lie, nothing in my junk mail folder). So they finally reverted only because I had threatened to send this case to Trustpilot and other relevant sites.
Then I received email from his “private mall”, obviously just to not have the mail exchange in company’s mail system. Clever. He said they never have had issues with these products, a surprise for them (obviously another lie). Have sent pictures of microwave radiation meter showing that these products fail to block radiation.
We finally agreed what they would send as compensation … and thereafter the communication was all stopped.
So all this keeping silent and then exchanging a few messages, pretending to be taking this seriously, then just being silent again, is just playing time and hoping that I somehow get tired and disappear. Well I do not; it is mickey mouse money we are discussing here, it is more about the principle of taking responsibility of a quality claim as such.
The nice thing here is that they continue selling the defective products as earlier; the ultralightweight beanies are still available, t-shirts made of the same material likewise. Do not buy them, they are worth zero. This is really the worst here; it is highly questionable both morally and business wise to behave like this. It is basically a fraud.
Gave the last chance to behave like decent business people (and threatening again publishing this story as it seems to be the only way to get them react); their answer: “Plus, last two months, people have been getting back with a lot of queries asking to return products just because of the money - it's tied to the global politics and economic situation. We also have to protect ourselves and can't meet everyone halfway, otherwise we go bankrupt.”
For me the war in Ukraine and mr Trump’s special operation with tariffs… have very little relevance here. They will get bankrupt continuing selling products they know have quality problem, not because they would take quality complaints seriously. I have no issues with their other products so my case is purely a quality claim. I do not even want my money back but just replacement with other products that work as they should.
Their last msg two weeks ago: “We're willing to replace the ultra-lightweight beanie since the headwear has the lowest chance of being influenced by sweat or washing.” So for them ok to replace 2 out of 4 defective products… And even this was just playing time with me as all communication stopped thereafter. They obviously just try to empty their stock of the articles made of this cloth that is loosing its protection properties just in 2-3 washes. Nice behaviour. Four and half months and we are still at square one. One star as zero in not available.
