I am a representative for a company that uses their shipping/warehouse services

I am a representative for a company that uses their services. they take days to ship items, even after a tracking number is created. You cant effectively escalate or expedite any shipments - They seem to only respond with a net resyult of "it ships when it ships". They have pulled items incorrectly for our customers that have been labelled correctly. To verify this is genuine - I have interacted with a person with the initials R.P. Thanks

Great system, but even better people

The system itself is very helpful and makes it much easier to get things done. It is without a doubt an excellent platform and plays an important role in supporting our operations.

That said, what truly makes the difference are the people we work with. Having a team that shares the same goal of helping our company grow is what really sets ShipMonk apart. This level of partnership and alignment is especially important for a young and growing company, and it makes a huge difference in our day-to-day operations. Thanks team!!!

We're back!!!

I work for a company that worked with ShipMonk years ago and at one point we decided to switch 3PLs in an effort to stay more local to our business. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out — and it quickly reminded us how great your company truly is. We brought our business back, and honestly, you’re even better than you were before.

We haven’t looked back since returning, and Anthony from the Florida office has been absolutely amazing. His support, professionalism, and dedication go above and beyond. We truly couldn’t imagine working with anyone else.

We hope you like us, because you’re stuck with us!

Excellent customer service

Shipmonk makes shipping products seamless and easy. I had the pleasure of working with Amanda Jones with my account- my experience was first class with her. I was heard when needed to tackle some challenges and met with caring solutions. Overall, the experience was warmly human, efficient and pleasant!

ShipMonk is a logistics provider for enterprise brands; we do not have a reselling program. The website you mentioned (https://www.google.com/search?q=shipmonkmart.com) is an unauthorized site and is not affiliated with our company. Our only official website is https://www.shipmonk.com/.

We recommend contacting your bank to see if they can help recover your funds. Since this review is for a different website and not our business, we would appreciate it if you could update or remove it so other customers aren't confused.

horrible

horrible. i've had bad experiences with 3PLs before, but these guys can't pack appropriately and much of the product was damaged. they also apparently dont know how to pack pallets and damaged more product in the moving process. Their kitting (prepping product) is a nightmare. Better off shipping in-house.

our 3rd party US Warehouse - Awful!

We use them for our 3rd party US domestic warehouse. They have pulled shipments incorrectly (shipped wrong item), and in my experience it takes them 4 working days to ship a UPS package, even if its air freight. they have no way to escalate an issue, and I have found no one that will be accountable for any mistakes or attempt to expedite. Frustrating

It works but could be way smoother

I'm currently a customer at shipmonk.

They send the stuff out and it works. However they are expensive, but the cost for me of changing to someone else now is too big, as I have large inventory.

Also, their customer service is very often not very helpful. They are polite, but really now very helpful most often. One customer service agent can say one thing and another say another thing. Suddenly I'm told something is not possible (international return label) even though it's always been at an extra cost (not sure if they removed it or the service person just dosen't know the procedures). Honestly what I dread most in my own business is solving issues with shipmonk, because it feels like all the work is on me, and the "customer support" often does not really feels like support.

It's also hard to get claims approved, even though I only submit legit claims.

Edit: changed this from a 2-star review to a 1-star review due to customer service still being unhelpful and not able to help with ordinay requests. Also, I've made a transfer from an US shipmonk warehouse to their EU one. The customs in EU says the courier or shipmonk center have the actions available to get the transfers moving, despite that Shipmonk refuses to take responsibility. My transfer have been stuck for 2+ months now and we've had customers cancelling their order and leaving bad reviews due to the long waiting time.

If I where to find a new shipment center, I WOULD NOT CHOOSE SHIPMONK!

trustworthy fullfillment

I rated ShipMonk five stars for their excellent service. From the introduction call to the onboarding process, everything was smooth. I truly appreciate Anderson for helping me set up my account and guiding me through each step. With ShipMonk by my side, I feel confident growing my e-commerce business and completely worry-free about fulfillment. I highly recommend their services.

AI-Generated Rejection 20 Minutes Before Our Meeting — Deeply Unprofessional

We scheduled a discovery meeting with ShipMonk to explore U.S. fulfilment for our upcoming product launch.

After spending considerable time preparing detailed responses to their pre-meeting questions, we received an automated email less than 30 minutes before the scheduled call, abruptly cancelling the meeting and stating that ShipMonk “wasn’t a fit” because we are still in the planning stage.

There was no personal communication before the cancellation — just a generic AI-generated message. Only after I expressed my frustration did a representative respond to apologise, but by then the damage was done.

For a company that markets itself as a growth partner, this was extremely disappointing.

Funded, pre-launch brands like ours need to plan fulfilment well in advance. Being screened out by automation for not being an “immediate-revenue” client is shortsighted and unprofessional.

What’s most concerning is what this implies about ShipMonk’s overall model — if prospective clients are managed by AI filters rather than real human relationships, what happens once you’re an active customer?

We’ve completely lost confidence in ShipMonk’s ability to provide consistent, human-centred service or long-term partnership.

If you’re evaluating fulfilment providers, be aware that ShipMonk’s process appears heavily automated and dismissive of brands still in their planning phase. Our experience was enough to walk away entirely even when their account manager tried to salvage the call, why would anyone do business with a company which operates in such a way is beyond me.

We know how much work goes into preparing for a launch, and the last-minute cancellation you received was unacceptable. It's not the experience you deserved. We should have communicated with far more care, especially knowing how important this meeting was for your brand.

We are using this as a critical opportunity to fix our internal processes so this doesn't happen to another partner.

We completely understand your decision if you choose to work with someone else, but we want to thank you for holding us accountable. We wish you the absolute best with your product launch. We hope we can earn a chance in the future to show you the high standard of service we strive for.

Shipmonk is the worst shipping partner…

Shipmonk is the worst shipping partner I’ve ever worked with. They take no responsibility for lost packages, and the chance of successfully claiming compensation for a lost order due to their fault is only about 2%.
If an order is marked as “in transit,” you can’t file a claim — and it can stay “in transit” for 60 days, after which they refuse to process any claim. Even delayed or lost shipments are still shown as “in transit”…
Overall, I strongly advise against working with this company. They are completely irresponsible.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service, no response, takes several days for someone to send back an email. They just charge and charge and charge and never do what they say they will do. Picking takes weeks. SERIOUSLY. WEEKS. Stay as far away as possible from this company. I would pick any other 3pl than this company. They are a money grab not a partner.

Big shoutout to Anthony and the team — they’ve been incredibly quick and helpful in getting all our orders out. I also really appreciate how they come prepared with options and alternatives when things don’t go as planned, rather than just letting issues slide. Couldn't count how many times I have sent an email already to support and have gone answered. Appreciate your cooperation as always.

I've been with shipmonk for a while now…

I've been with shipmonk for a while now and would say there good at a few things and also bad at a lot.

1. The shipping prices they offer is not the best.
2. I've been unable to submit a help ticket for around 4 months now, and despite emailing them around 10 times (and sending screenshot of the error countless times) and being told that their team is looking at it, it's not being solved.
3. A lot of packages are lost. They say it's on the courier, but ive worked with other 3PL's and the rate of lost packages have never been this high. Also their system for making a claim is not very good. When a pacakge is shown as delivered but is not delivered, I cannot file a claim, and I have to email them about it so it takes longer to get it filed. Also when a package is still shown as "en route" I cannot file a claim, since their system say it might still be delivered. So it's basically the two scenarios of packages not being delivered - none of them allow for an easy way to file a claim. Sometimes when sending in the claim via email, they even ask for a screenshot of the error in their own system - the same error that appears EVERY SINGLE TIME that you try to file a claim that is marked as delivered.
4. If adressing more then one issue in an email with them, they often only answer to one of my questions and usually the one that is easiest to answer - not nessecarily the one that is obviously most important.

I could say a lot more, but I'll just leave it at 2 stars. 2 instead of 1 since they are also fast and effective at sending out packages.

I am a customer who has moved on from…

I am a customer who has moved on from ShipMonk but I will say that they really did most everything that they said they would do. My company's needs didn't really fit with ShipMonk's offering, but they were a great company to work with. I believe I was the issue many times when we had problems.
