I’m really disappointed with customer service
I’m really disappointed with my experience using Beam’s referral program. The promotion clearly advertised a $40 minimum spend for the referral credit, but after my referral placed their order, I was told the purchase needed to be $80 to qualify.
There was no clear language in the terms stating this higher minimum, and it feels misleading to advertise one amount and then enforce another behind the scenes. Referral programs are meant to build trust and reward loyal customers — not create confusion or loopholes that prevent credits from being honored.
Because of this experience, I’ve cancelled my membership and will no longer be purchasing Beam products. I’ve enjoyed the products in the past, but this situation has seriously impacted my trust in the brand. Transparency in promotions matters, and customers shouldn’t have to guess at hidden requirements.
