How do I know the coins I receive are authentic?
Every certified coin we sell is graded and encapsulated by PCGS or NGC, the two most trusted grading services in the industry. Neither company sells coins, so their grades are unbiased. Each holder carries a hologram and barcode you can look up on the PCGS or NGC website, and the tamper-evident seal is destroyed if anyone opens the case. We source only from long-standing vendors that we and the U.S. Mint have vetted.

What is Global Coin's return policy?
Global Coin offers an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee on all collectible items (bullion is excluded). The 30 days begin when your order ships. Items must be returned complete, in sellable condition, and fully insured with a reputable carrier. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and refunds are issued the same day your return is processed.

How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days. Pre-sale items ship the day after they arrive back from the grading service. Orders paid by check or money order ship after the payment clears (10 business days). You will receive an email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

Are my packages insured and secure?
Yes. Every package Global Coin ships is fully insured by Lloyd's of London and packed under video surveillance in a secure facility. We ship with FedEx, UPS, and USPS, and higher-value orders may require a signature. We ship to all 50 states, U.S. territories, and P.O. boxes.

What payment methods do you accept?

Why are some coins only available at Global Coin?

What coins do you recommend for new collectors?
Autographed First Day of Issue American Silver Eagles graded MS70 or PR70 are a great place to start. For gold, a First Day of Issue American Gold Buffalo is a popular first coin. Our team is always happy to recommend coins that fit your goals and budget.

What is the difference between Proof (PR/PF) and Mint State (MS)?
Proof coins are struck two or three times on polished blanks for a mirror-like finish and are made in small numbers for collectors. PR and PF mean the same thing; PCGS and NGC simply label them differently. Mint State (MS) coins are the standard, non-proof strike, and top-grade MS70 examples can be very rare.

Should I clean my coins?
No. Cleaning can permanently damage a coin and significantly lower its value. Collectors expect natural toning with age, so it is best to leave coins in their original holders.

Does Global Coin buy coins from the public?
No. Global Coin sells coins only and does not purchase coins from the general public.

Can I visit Global Coin in person?
