This is just regular dried holy basil, not freeze dried.
This is just regular dried holy basil. It’s not freeze-dried. This is misleading your customers. The product page says it’s freeze-dried. But the actual product says heat-dried. They are not the same.
Update: The vendor issued a full refund right away, including the shipping cost. Excellent customer service, and the rating is updated accordingly.
The error is not just a “one-line” description, though. There are other mistakes. Notably, 90% nutritional value only applies if the product is freeze-dried. This is not true for regular dried herbs. Please update your description for future customers.

We understand why you raised this point. The product is indeed dried holy basil, as stated in the product title. However, we discovered that one line in the description mistakenly included the wording “freeze dried,” which was a writing error on our part. We agree that the wording could have been confusing, and we have already corrected it on the product page to prevent further misunderstanding.
Please rest assured that there was no intention to mislead customers. As soon as this was brought to our attention, we updated the description and processed a full refund for your order. There is no need to return the product, and you are welcome to keep it.

I love the tom yum soup base so much. It is my favorite way to make hot pot at home and tastes just as good as the restaurant! I add a bit of tomato from my garden and season it my way and voila. Highly recommend.
