The mechanic I dealt with had ended up needing to charge an additional hour for labour due to a a slight miscommunication however he did a great job and managed to recoup some of my money through helping out another customer who needed my old shifters to get his bike back on the road urgently. Managed to kill two birds with one stone by showing enthusiasm and initiative. Previously another mechanic waived my labour cost as he couldn’t quite get my bike to work on my smart trainer better than it did before which is understandable as this shit can be fiddly and tricky as hell even though bikes seem relatively straightforward it usually never ends up being so straightforward. This was very fair and kind of him. Now I’ve got two new shifters on the bike the second mechanic has managed to get the bike working much smoother on the smart trainer. The new cables must’ve been the missing link. The store is aesthetically pleasing with really impressive bikes. All the staff I’ve come across carry themselves in a professional but humble, human and personable way which is pretty rare nowadays. Sigma Hampton wick has gained a loyal customer for life. Much better than two other well known local bike shops I’ve used in recent years.

I recently purchased a new bike from Sigma which developed a clicking noise after just a few rides. The team responded very quickly to my initial email and arranged a workshop booking straight away.
The in-store welcome was friendly and professional, and the issue was resolved promptly. Although the fault turned out to be user error on my part, it was handled with great professionalism throughout.
If you’re planning to buy a new bike or need a service or repair, I would highly recommend Sigma Sports without hesitation.

Visited the Hampton Wick branch where I was needing some advice on tyres and a few other technicalities as I’m racing soon. Dom was fantastic and I left the store much more prepared along with some great cycling kit.

Had a bike fit with Salvo, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and I learnt a lot. I came away with a number of recommendations for tweaks to my bike but no pressure to rush into them. Also some good advice on some minor issues I can follow up on with a Physio.

Although some of the staff I initially encountered seemed preoccupied with administration. Marc immediately came to assist me with my wetsuit which I purchased.

Always added value at Sigma! I was only buying a couple of water bottles, still got great advice on making them last with a good cleaning regime. Marginal gains!!
