I undertook the Batting Prowess course after an initial diagnosis with Gio. I saw the result straight away and managed to score a 50 first game after the training which happened to be my first of the 6 fifty plus scores ..it all came after the Batting Prowess training. I wish I had done the training a couple of years back so I would be enjoying the game more.

I enjoyed working with GIO and respected his knowledge and understanding of the game. When he presented information to me I also felt he wasn't forcing it on me he was allowing me to have the knowledge and work for myself. Something I think is very important in a coach.

At its heart simple batting focuses on 2 things:

1) Improving/practising the basics of batting by that I mean your (technique/fundamentals) to be more consistent in your ability to better access and contact with the ball.

2) the mental side of batting, helping players either formulate a plan or think about the current ones they have. For me personally I spent a lot of time looking at the differences from when I was playing well to when I wasn't and what I was doing different. Which then allows me now to mentally go into each game in a better place, even keeled and give myself the best opportunity to be consistent.

Worked with Gio last summer and completed the Batting Prowess training. Absolutely transformed my batting and outlook on cricket and the results with the bat were superb. Excellent support throughout the programme and a holistic approach to batting.

I signed up for the SIMPLE 3 step batting process. It was an expensive decision but one that I believe was worthwhile. It immediately helped me in managing the mental side of cricket and helped me to trust myself more and not worry about others. It took away all of the worry I had about the game and made it enjoyable again. Whilst I felt that it would have been beneficial to maybe have a little more reviewing of my technique that would be the only flaw. The techniques Gio uses are incredibly helpful and translate really superbly into games.

I can’t recommend Gio and SIMPLE batting enough. It’s a sure fire process to understanding your batting and then being able to self check and correct. A much better way to practice and then play. Not to mention everything else you learn. I’ve found it to be absolutely invaluable to consistently score runs. I coach this to my players also. It’s simple! I would recommend working with Gio if you’re struggling or even if your not, you will take away something regardless. He’s a very patient caring person. Thankyou!

Simple Batting helped me alot especially with their batting prowess training, I had fears that made me question my own ability and I had negative thoughts that hindered me to play at my best, Gio and his team are a bunch of great people and they have really worked hard to help batsmen reach their full potential, because of Gio I have a possibilty to play cricket after school, because I improved a lot, the batting prowess training makes you a more consistent run scorer and a more consistent person, it gives you clarity in your game and you are, as people would say "in the zone", everytime you walk out to bat. Simple batting has a 3 Step Simple batting Process, that is an online coaching tool to help batsmen improve their fundamentals in the way they think, train and play.
I cannot recommend this process enough as I have already experienced vast improvements in my own game.

How wrong I was!
At the completion of the 16 week program my technique was amazing being able to hit balls harder and cleaner than ever before. I was also able to access 360 degrees to score.

In addition to technique the greatest area of improvement came from using the simple techniques & mindset with the mental side of the game. Gone from my game were the premeditated shots, the fear of failure or the ability to score.

Batting is so much of a mental game, and Gio has figured out a way to mentally enable the batter to focus on their scoring runs. Technique enhancements, mental process and SIMPLE approach are highlights of this coaching. If a batter is serious about improving their skill, they should try this program out.

My son worked with Gio online on both the technical and mental aspects to batting. It was a great experience for him working online in group sessions, sharing experiences and presenting videos of the drills practiced from week to week.

Simple batting is really a very good program. Gio knows his stuff inside out. It tell you how to keep things simple and stick to the process. It not only teaches the fundamentals of the game but also explains the mental aspect of sport. My elder one trained with Gio in 2021 and younger one started in 2022. We are repeat clients and it is the testament in itself. Gio has helped both my kids and after doing the simple batting program both of them are more confident and consistent in run making. The Simple System:
Gio has developed this simple sytem and taken all the complexities out of batting. His Drills are Simple which anyone can do and gives instant results. He has always been there and provided honest, positive and constructive feedback. Its been over a year since I have finished my sessions with Gio but still do his Fundamentals.
Gio, method of training is directly related to positive mindset which is the only way to Play Cricket but never taught/trained anywhere.

Started working with Gio just before the 2022 season after having 5 seasons as an opening bat unable to pass 200 season runs. I’d always been able to bat long but had a really low strike rate (around 30-50) and struggled to score, even off bad balls. I’d only ever scored 2 fifties and both were in the 2017 season. I’d got into the 40s a couple of times but never reached 50. I had terrible problems with nerves both before batting and once I’d gone out to bat and couldn’t concentrate on the ball for fear of being dismissed. The online 3 step SIMPLE Batting Process was great, easy to understand and implement in bite size pieces. The methods Gio has devised to quieten the mind to allow concentration on scoring are brilliant and exactly what I was looking for. The week on week video calls to discuss the previous week’s match outcomes and learning were awesome and it was great to listen to others and learn from them how to improve. Gio’s enthusiasm is clear to see straight away and I saw results in my first game after starting work. My strike rate was through the roof (up to 93) and I felt relaxed at the crease, I hit two fours in my first over which is unheard of for me and my team mates all said how much better I looked. In my third game of the season I scored by first unbeaten 50 for five years to see the team home and 2 weeks later scored my maiden 1st XI 50 in a tricky run chase. I then made 33, 14* and 20 followed by another 33 and a 50 for my brothers club. Low scores no longer affected my confidence because I learnt from each dismissal. I finished the season with 373 runs which is my season highest for league games with 3 fifties and, in the games I reached double figures, a strike rate of around 85-90. There’s still work to be done but I feel really confident for the coming season at a new club. Having the tools to stay consistent in how I think and how I train helped to give purpose to every training session. I was able to shut out the noise from “helpful” team mates giving suggestions and stayed consistent with my processes. This allowed me assess dismissals to find out what was causing my dismissal and if it was a good ball, it was a good ball and there was nothing I could do. Enjoyed cricket more than I have in years and can’t wait for this season. Massive thanks to Gio for all the help, I couldn’t have done it without you!

Gio completely changed the way I think about batting, like the majority I would often go straight to technique when low on runs or confidence. Gio taught me not only the importance of the mental side of the game but a process to be able to implement and review my mental game. As far as technique is concerned Gio taught me how to train and evaluate my core fundamentals making training simpler and less stressful. The results in 3 seasons since working with Gio have been more than satisfactory, my average improving by about 20 % and my SR even more, I have played innings that I never previously believed I was capable of.
